Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

The thugs threatened Cai Jing to pay his debt. Cai Jing was shocked. He thought his old family was already handling the debt. Cai Jing shook his head. He refused to accept this. He argued with the thugs that his family already paid the debt.

The thugs shouted that debt had still not been settled. So, he needed to continue to pay up. If Cai Jing did not want to pay up, they would destroy this restaurant. They would come every day to get the money from Cai Jing.

The thugs shouted and kicked one of the tables. This scared the customers. Most of the customers stood up and wanted to leave. They just wanted to eat here, not to get involved with this kind of trouble. They were afraid that they might get hurt from this trouble. Better to leave.

Cai Jing tried to stop the customers from leaving, but the customers did not listen to him. His wife was hugging his son behind the counter, looking afraid. Cai Jing knew that he needed to settle this properly. Otherwise, everything that he built for these two years would be ruined.

Cai Cheng was watching from afar, smiling wickedly. He wanted to know how this scumbag father handled this matter.

Cai Jing closed his restaurant early on that day. He sent his wife and son. He asked his wife to pack some clothes for a few days. He wanted his wife and his son to stay at another place. He was scared that those thugs would come to his house, disturbing his wife and son since he wanted to go somewhere else.

After sending his wife and son to another place, Cai Jing drove to his old house. The village still did not change much. However, as he drove closer to his old house, he was shocked to see the state of the old house. It looked like it had been abandoned for a long time. The weed was very long, almost at his waist.

Then, he was startled when he heard someone behind him. He turned around to see who it was. He was surprised for one second when he figured out the person’s identity. It was his son, the one whom he abandoned two years old.

He rushed to hug his son, thinking of the tearful reunion. He thought his son would be delighted to see him, but his son stared at him like he was someone that his son wanted to kill. He awkwardly stopped and asked about his mother and sister.

Cai Cheng suddenly laughed. Cai Jing was confused and asked why he suddenly laughed like that.

Cai Cheng stopped laughing and stared at Cai Jing, asking how his life had been over these two years. Cai Jing thought Cai Cheng wanted to catch up.

However, before Cai Jing answered the question, Cai Cheng smirked while saying Cai Jing’s life must be great since he threw off his debt to his old family and ran away.

Cai Jing was silent. He did not know what to say. Because it was the truth. Cai Jing told Cai Cheng that he would explain everything to Cai Cheng, his daughter and his wife. So, he asked about them once again.

The most up-to-date version is on M(VLEMPY)R.

Cai Cheng nodded and told Cai Jing to follow him. He would bring Cai Jing to his mother. Cai Jing was relieved that Cai Cheng was willing to hear his explanation. He would trick them again, this time like he did two years ago.

However, Cai Cheng was stunned as they arrived at the place. It was a tomb. The picture of his former wife stuck to the tombstone. He could not believe his eyes. She was dead.

Cai Cheng told Cai Jing that she had been dead for two years. At the same time when he disappeared, leaving the massive debt for them to deal with. Then, Cai Cheng also revealed that her own daughter had been sold to some people because of his debt.

Cai Jing trembled when he heard this news. He then began to apologise, telling Cai Cheng that he was a useless father and husband. He came back because he wanted to reconnect with the family that had been abandoned. He would also go to work hard to settle the debt. He just needed Cai Cheng to help him, settling the debt together with him.

Cai Cheng laughed again. Cai Jing became confused again. Then, Cai Cheng’s laugh died as he turned and stared at Cai Jing. His stare was so cold scared Cai Jing a little bit. Then Cai Jing was stunned when Cai Cheng asked him if he wanted to dump the debt again on his son again.

The next sentence made Cai Jing’s back go cold. Cai Cheng mentioned that he should dump the debt on his other son. Cai Jing became panicked. Cai Cheng knew about his other family. He immediately told Cai Cheng that he could explain that.

Cai Cheng smiled and asked Cai Jing if he thought by sending his new wife and son to another place that they would be safe. Cai Jing immediately became angry. He told Cai Cheng that if he dared to do something to his wife and son, Cai Cheng would regret it.

Cai Cheng laughed in front of his mother’s tombstone. He called his mother, telling his mother to see what kind of husband she had before.
