Pokémon: My Parallel World Daughters Revealed

The video continued playing.

Over the next few days, Miori visited the infirmary after completing her required lessons and daily training so that she could personally care for Emolga.

At first, Emolga didn’t appreciate her efforts at all.

When Miori brought it food, it immediately bared its teeth at her. Every strand of fur across its body stood on end as electricity danced along the tips, making the entire mouse resemble an electric ball ready to explode at any moment.

Just as Emolga thought it had successfully frightened the human away, its vision suddenly blurred, and a blue figure appeared in front of it.

Luxio didn’t make a sound.

It merely positioned its body firmly in front of Miori, shielding her completely. Its pupils locked onto Emolga, while the golden star at the end of its tail began to glow.

Emolga froze.

It had fought countless battles in the wild and encountered all kinds of opponents, but this time, it hadn’t even seen which direction Luxio had come from. Its vision had blurred for only an instant, and Luxio was already standing before it.

Electricity continued crackling through Emolga’s raised fur, but it ultimately withdrew the current obediently.

It could sense that if it released so much as a single spark, the consequences would be miserable.

Miori looked at the back of Emolga’s head as it turned away, then glanced at Luxio, which was still standing protectively in front of her. She couldn’t help laughing.

”Thank you, Luxio, but you don’t have to be so fierce.”

Luxio looked back at her and flicked its tail before returning to its place beside the door.

However, it remained facing Emolga with its eyes half open.

Emolga buried its face in the soft cushion.

It decided to endure this humiliation until its injuries had fully healed.

A mouse’s revenge was never too late—even ten years from now!

Once its wings recovered, it would teach that vicious cat a lesson at the first opportunity!

”I asked Mommy about you. She said you prefer sweeter recipes.”

Miori placed a bowl beside the cushion.

”Try these and see whether you like them.”

Emolga lowered its head and sniffed.

The scent was right, but the colors looked far better than the standard food distributed throughout the Gym.

It opened its mouth and took one bite.

Its entire body instantly stiffened.

Th-this, this, this, this!!!

It’s so delicious!!!

Compared with the free Pokémon food provided by the Gym and the Berries it found in the wild, these colorful Pokéblocks mixed with honey tasted as though they had fallen directly from heaven.

Emolga desperately resisted the urge to bury its entire face in the bowl. It ate one bite at a time at an exceptionally restrained pace, but its disobedient tail kept slapping excitedly against the cushion.

Miori pretended not to notice its rapidly wagging tail and merely smiled as she examined its wounds.

Luxio lay beside the door, slowly sweeping its tail across the floor with its eyelids half lowered.

It had no objection to the newcomer—as long as Emolga didn’t bristle at Miori again.

Otherwise, Luxio wouldn’t mind returning to the ancient feline profession encoded within its genes: Catching mice.

[VIP Chat Group]

[Jasmine]: Luxio reacted so quickly. It placed itself between Miori and Emolga almost instantly.

[Korrina]: It made Emolga behave with nothing but a look! That presence is incredible!

[Norman]: Truly powerful Pokémon have no need to bluff. This Luxio is remarkably strong.

[Skyla]: But doesn’t this Emolga also seem like a tsundere? It clearly loves the Pokéblocks Miori brought, yet it’s still pretending to eat them with restraint!

[Dawn]: It looks really unhappy with Luxio. Will those two Pokémon be able to get along?

The video continued playing.

Emolga appeared to have recovered completely.

After completing three full test laps around the backyard, it impatiently hovered in front of Luxio. Its cheek pouches erupted with two dazzling bursts of golden electricity.

Luxio was lying in the sun.

A sudden electrical discharge grazed its right ear, causing several strands of fur to curl.

Luxio opened its eyes, and an extremely low rumble emerged from its throat.

Seeing this, Emolga became even more arrogant. It flew directly above Luxio and lowered the tip of its tail, waving it twice in front of Luxio’s nose.

The gesture was unmistakably provocative.

Luxio, however, appeared completely unconcerned. It merely stretched before going back to sleep.

When Miori opened the back door, she was greeted by the following scene:

Luxio lay calmly napping on the mat beside the door, while Emolga circled above its head and released a rapid series of cries.

Translated into human language, it was probably saying:

”Get up! Right now! Fight me! I’ll show you who the real boss is!”

”Emolga, stop bullying Luxio.”

Miori approached and moved Emolga’s tail away with her hand.

Emolga immediately changed targets.

It landed on Miori’s shoulder, slapped her ear with one wing, and pointed toward the center of the battlefield before releasing an exceptionally solemn cry.

Miori studied Emolga for a moment before smiling.

”You want to decide whether you’ll let me catch you through a battle, don’t you?”

Emolga tilted its head and stared at Miori, electricity flashing briefly across its cheeks.

It had originally planned to keep its intentions hidden for another two days, but Miori had exposed everything it was thinking with a single sentence.

Emolga wasn’t accustomed to the feeling of being seen through so easily.

However, when it remembered that it would finally get to fight that vicious giant blue cat, none of that seemed important anymore.

Emolga took off from Miori’s shoulder and hovered directly in front of her. Then it solemnly drew an arc through the air with its tail.

”I understand.”

Miori removed Emolga’s Poké Ball from her pocket and held it in her palm.

”I accept your challenge.”

The battlefield of Nimbasa Gym.

Emolga attacked first.

Electricity crackled through its cheek pouches, and a Thunder Shock descended toward Luxio from above.

”Luxio, use Quick Attack.”

Miori’s voice remained calm.

Luxio’s body transformed into a blue blur.

Thunder Shock struck the spot where it had been standing, leaving a small scorched mark on the floor.

After its attack missed, Emolga immediately climbed higher into the air, but Luxio had already circled around to its side.

”Wild Charge.”

Dazzling golden electricity erupted across Luxio’s entire body. It transformed into a golden bolt of lightning and charged directly toward Emolga.

Emolga turned sharply in the air to evade, but it still couldn’t match Luxio’s speed.

Wild Charge grazed the tip of its tail, sending Emolga tumbling twice through the air before it regained its balance.

After stabilizing itself, Emolga shook out its tail, flapped its wings, and traced an arc through the air.

A silvery metallic sheen spread across the edges of its outstretched wings as it dove toward Luxio.

”Luxio, take it head-on.”

Emolga’s Wing Attack slammed directly into Luxio’s shoulder with a dull impact.

Luxio’s body didn’t move an inch.

Emolga’s pupils contracted.

Its full-powered Wing Attack had been stopped head-on.

”Now, use Crunch!”

Miori raised her hand.

Luxio opened its jaws and bit directly onto Emolga’s wing before flinging it away.

Emolga tumbled through the air several times and crashed headfirst into the soft padding at the edge of the battlefield.

It lay flat on its back with all four limbs spread apart. Its tongue hung from the corner of its mouth, spirals spun in its eyes, and its tail continued twitching faintly.

Luxio walked over, gripped the back of Emolga’s neck with its mouth, and lifted it from the padding.

It then carried Emolga over and placed it steadily in front of Miori.

Miori took out Emolga’s Poké Ball once again and gently placed it against Emolga’s paw.

Emolga raised one paw and pressed the button.

Its body transformed into red light and entered the Poké Ball that now belonged to it.
