Hogwarts: Even Voldemort Can't Stop Me From Studying

Chapter 642: Chapter 33: Acting with Sirius 2

Vid paused for a moment, turned to look at Sirius, then handed him the Magic Wand, and said, ”Then it’s your turn.”

”What?” Sirius asked.

”The Confundus Charm, Muggle-Repelling Charm, or whatever spell, just get that man to take his family and leave the camp. Don’t come back for the next few days,” Vid said.

Sirius heard his request, pondered for a moment, turned to look at the confused Muggle Administrator, and without asking why, raised his Magic Wand and pointed it.

A moment later, the Muggle man jumped up as if his butt had been set on fire and turned around and ran away.

The Lantern Pants Wizard saw this but didn’t care. The Forgetfulness Spell only makes Muggles forget the unnatural phenomena in the camp, it can’t make them forget their physiological needs, like going to the bathroom.

Seeing the Muggle run far away, Vid and Sirius turned around and headed back.

Sirius was silent for a long time before he smiled bitterly and said, ”I’ve always thought I was completely different from my family, but now I realize I’m just as arrogant as they are.”

He looked at the countless Wizards in the camp and said, ”All these people are the same... they all have an air of superiority in their hearts.”

Vid looked at him questioningly, ”Why are you saying this all of a sudden?”

”Frequent use of the Forgetfulness Spell can cause damage to the brain. We all know this, but only you want to help them,” Sirius said with emotion. ”Let’s go, let’s find the next one.”

”The next one?” Vid paused, ”There’s more than one Muggle Administrator at the camp?”

”Of course,” Sirius said. ”Muggles can’t fly, how can one person manage such a large area? The Administrator of the first camp is Roberts, the one we just sent away. The second camp is Pain, and the third camp seems to be called Gibson... there should be six of them in total.”

On hearing this, Vid felt a vague sense of fear and was very grateful that he ran into Sirius on the way out.

He had been brought directly by Lupin, and his impression from the original was that there was only one Muggle Administrator, whose wife and children also lived nearby, and after the game, the masked Death Eaters made fun of the whole family.

If it weren’t for Sirius, Vid would have randomly sent away one Muggle Administrator, while the others could still be found by the Dark Wizards, resulting in nothing changing.

Next, the two of them walked around together, secretly sending away all the nearby Muggles, until the last family jumped into their car and drove away from the area, and the Ministry of Magic hadn’t reacted yet.

Or rather, some staff members were secretly hoping these Muggles would leave completely. After all, with the finals approaching, the number of Wizards in the camp was increasing, and there was no way to cover up the various magical phenomena.

These Muggle Administrators didn’t help manage the camp at all, they were just decorations at the gate.

But to maintain their worldview, the Ministry employees not only had to handle various unexpected situations but also had to perform the Forgetfulness Spell on the Muggle Administrators multiple times a day, which was a huge torment for both parties.

Thus, with some implicit acquiescence and concealment, all the Muggles were smoothly evacuated from the place. More than half an hour later, someone ”suddenly realized” the Muggle Administrators were gone and started reporting it.

...

”This is your spare Magic Wand, right?” Sirius twirled the Magic Wand in his hand and then handed it back to Vid, saying, ”Use it more often for small spells like the Scouring Charm, to prevent anyone from checking with Priori Incantatem.”

”I know, but this isn’t over yet — we still need to find someone.”

”Who?”

”Lucius Malfoy’s sidekick, Goyle, Gregory Goyle,” Vid said.

Just as there was a rift between Draco and Crabbe, after Crabbe’s injury, there was also a rift between Big Crabbe and Lucius Malfoy.

The Malfoy father and son trust the Goyle family more — even though the Goyle father and son don’t seem to have much sense, being stupid has its advantages too; at least you don’t worry about them betraying you.

Therefore, if Lucius Malfoy is up to something, Gregory Goyle is likely to be in the loop.

Moreover, the Malfoy family likes to show off, flamboyant and arrogant, overly conspicuous. The Goyle family, on the other hand, is much easier to approach, with a very low presence.

”During the previous game, I saw Lucius Malfoy secretly conspiring with some people, and all those people are rumored to be suspected Death Eaters. I suspect they’re planning something during this game.”

Vid tossed the Magic Wand to Sirius again and pulled out another spare Magic Wand himself.

He had once bought three old Magic Wands, all of which were now being put to use.

Sirius sneered, ”Those guys are full of schemes. If you told me they wanted to cause trouble, I wouldn’t doubt it for a second.”

Narcissa Malfoy is Sirius’s cousin, and despite the estrangement between the families, Sirius still paid attention to the location of their tent.

Soon, Vid spotted an opulently palace-like tent, decorated with numerous strips of silk, and tied peacocks in front of it.

A little further ahead, they found Goyle’s tent. From the outside, it looked like a lighthouse, with a cylindrical tower and a drab gray pointed top. In front of the tent, there was a big campfire, and Goyle was crouching next to it, eagerly holding some skewers, roasting meat.

Vid and Sirius turned behind a four-story tent nearby with tacit agreement, used the Disillusionment Charm simultaneously, and a few seconds later, they walked out again, swaggering into the tent in front of Goyle.

The chubby boy crouched on the ground scratched his face, discovering nothing.

On the first floor, a plump Witch was using her Magic Wand to command the kitchenware to clean up.

On reaching the second floor, they smoothly found Gregory Goyle — the man was sprawled out on the sofa, watching a love movie in a Flow Mirror, his eyes faintly red, seemingly moved to tears.

”Stupefy!”

Gregory Goyle was hit by the Stunning Spell, his head drooping as he fell into a deep sleep. Sirius conjured up several ropes to bind him securely.

”Take him away or interrogate him here?” Sirius said, ”If it’s too noisy, I’m afraid it will attract attention.”

”No need to go to such trouble.” Vid pulled out a Crystal Bottle and said, ”I brought Veritaserum.”

”...” Sirius said, ”How do you have all these Magic Potions? Polyjuice Potion, Veritaserum... these are all restricted potions! They’re normally not even allowed to be used in trials.”

”I know,” Vid responded calmly, ”Do you want to use it?”

”Of course... use it!”

Sirius pried Goyle’s mouth open, watching Vid drip the potion inside.
