Emperor’s Domination

The sea of wisdom was treacherous and unpredictable. Two immortals could travel in the same direction and method only to end in different rivers of time.

This meant they would face different situations. One could be in an evil timeline while the other, a peaceful and pure one.

In fact, one could arrive at a river of time only for it to be extinguished in the blink of an eye. This would also erase them from existence.

One cultivator entered a friendly timeline, holy and pure initially. However, the waves flowing there grew stronger and began to crush the spatial fabrics of this timeline. The frightened cultivator tried to find a way back, only to find that going against the current was impossible. Not even a golden immortal could reach the beginning again, only to be slowly withered away by the current.

However, a powerful aura of a divine beast spread across the sea, guiding everyone.

“Must be a fierce battle.” Those who felt it thought it was a battle between Li Qiye and the divine beasts.

Upon entering the sea, Li Qiye saw through the chaotic timelines and dimensions. He knew exactly where the divine beasts were hiding.

He walked firmly forward, only to be interrupted by an illusory voice seemingly whispering into his ears: “Sir, please go back.”

It was a neutral voice; one couldn’t discern the speaker’s gender.

“Why should I?” Li Qiye smiled.

“We have no feud with each other. If you return, the divine beasts will never appear in Heavenrealm again.” The illusory voice answered: “Since you didn’t wish to see the destruction of Divine Firmament, they have given up. Divine Firmament is yours now.”

“Should I feel honored?” Li Qiye joked.

“You are qualified to be in control of Heavenrealm, no one else is above you.” The voice said.

“Is that truly the case?” Li Qiye smirked.

“The idea of refining Divine Firmament was my mistake. I can guarantee that it will never happen.” The voice paused briefly before speaking sincerely.

“Refusing now paints me as unreasonable.” Li Qiye said.

“Sir, following your order is how it should be.” The voice said.

“Is this your idea?” Li Qiye asked.

“Our wish does not matter before you.” The voice said.

“I’m no tyrant, I’m open to discussion.” Li Qiye said.

“What do you have in mind?” The voice asked.

“First, release the black dragon and the chongming girl.” Li Qiye said.

The voice pondered in silence before responding: “We can give Xiao Yue to you. As for the dragon, I, more than anyone, hope for its safety. Returning to his bloodline is the right path.”

“Releasing him is how to keep him safe.” Li Qiye said.

“Sir, do you know of the significance of this bloodline?” The voice asked.

“Won’t be the true dragon bloodline, but rather, Royal Bloodlines.” Li Qiye said: “I’ve long known its origin, but he is not who you are looking for. Look at this place, so much suffering and endless slicing of the body. How does it feel?”
