Emperor’s Domination

“Have you found them?” He asked hesitatingly.

“The decision is yours, I am only here to remove the weeds and insects.” Li Qiye said.

“Young Noble, how can you be so sure of everything? This is your first visit.” He asked for confirmation.

“It is indeed my first visit.” Li Qiye nodded.

“I haven’t seen many things and merely speculated without concrete evidence. That’s why I am unsure of your confidence.” He said.

“Do you know what the problem is?” Li Qiye asked.

“What?” He contemplated to no avail.

“Royal Bloodlines.” Li Qiye said.

“Royal Bloodlines, you are aware of this as well?” He blurted.

“Is this a top secret?” Li Qiye smirked.

“Not quite, some do know.” He smiled awkwardly.

“The nine divine beasts, right?” Li Qiye said.

“Perhaps there are others.” He said.

“The issue is, why did this become a taboo? Everyone pretended that it didn’t exist.” Li Qiye said.

“It’s not like that, it just stopped appearing later.” He said.

“Is that so?” Li Qiye replied.

“Roughly.” He said.

“In Divine Firmament, everyone knows Skykiller Palace and Skykiller True Dragon.” Li Qiye smiled: “Because these names are so well known, they also remember the dragon’s gift, Skykiller. However, this is a hidden gift starting with Skykiller, not a true dragon’s innate gift, Royal Bloodlines.”

“Royal Bloodlines...” He sighed.

“You know that it is a gift capable of reaching apex power, but there is another effect.” Li Qiye said.

“Perhaps.” He said.

“That’s why I’m curious, why did Skykiller and Phoenix Queen not have an offspring?” Li Qiye continued.

“Could it be that it wasn’t time?” He answered cautiously.

Li Qiye smirked and said: “What do you think is the other effect of Royal Bloodlines?”

“I’m unsure.” He shook his head.

“But you have speculated just like the other divine beasts.” Li Qiye said.

“Long, long ago, after His Majesty’s passing.” He said: “I didn’t see it myself, just a few things happened.”

“The sea of wisdom.” Li Qiye said.

“Yes.” He admitted.

“Someone did something and the sea reacted. This made them know how close in reach the thing was.” Li Qiye said: “Back to the first question, why did they not have any offspring?”

“I don’t know.” He said.

“Given this gift, they should have quite a few.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Their romance was undying and as deep as the sea. There was no problem there.” He said.

“I didn’t say there was a problem.” Li Qiye shook his head: “I’m just curious, given the hidden nature of Royal Bloodlines. It’s illogical.”

“Maybe there was a different reason, it was a personal matter beyond us.” He said.

“Only one reason.” Li Qiye said.

“One?” He asked.

“Skykiller knew the hidden effect of Royal Bloodlines, thus, he created Skykiller instead.” Li Qiye said: “As you said, they had a strong relationship.”

“This was a good thing.” He commented.

“Are you sure?” Li Qiye smiled.

“How could it not be?” He asked.

“What would have happened if he had used it?” Li Qiye asked.

“Mmm...” His expression changed after thinking for a few seconds.

“There would be no chongming birds or kun pengs, the divine beasts would cease to exist.” Li Qiye said.

“That’s one probability, but unlikely.” He said.

“Of course, there is another probability, your lord could have acted like a mortal king. That would have solved the issue, but this couldn’t have happened if they were deeply in love.” Li Qiye said: “Looks like you haven’t thought this through, or just didn’t want to.”

“Our queen left this world with His Majesty.” He said.

“Trying to convince yourself?” Li Qiye smiled.

“Young Noble, you never met them, so you don’t know how strong their love was. It was unchanging.” He said.

“Don’t forget, your race has always emphasized that you are family, regardless of species. If that’s the case, how could you be without each other?” Li Qiye said: “Thus, he had foreseen everything. This was why they didn’t have descendants.”
