Emperor’s Domination

At this point, Ninth Lady, Apex Immortal, and Hao Cai stood alongside Worldbearer Tortoise. Their opponents were Death Serpent, Gluttonous Beast, Qilin, Lunar Wolf, and Kun Peng.

The latter arrived at Worldbearer Firmament. Not to mention regular living beings, even overlords were forced to the ground.

“Absolute suppression.” Stone Immortal and other dragon servants sighed.

Although the divine beasts were few in number, they still reigned over Divine Firmament. Not all willingly became their servants, but could do nothing to change it.

In the past, some wondered why the dragon servants were so loyal despite having so many overlords and immortals. Today, this became clear.

Five great divine beasts suppressed Worldbearer Firmament in totality. Nothing could contest their domination.

“The divine beasts are just too strong.” A cultivator remarked.

“Shit.” Ninth Lady cursed and said: “Sly old man, you dragged us down.”

“The world is not on my side.” Worldbearer sighed.

“Fine, if I die, I die, but if I survive, the debt is repaid.” She said.

No one knew their relationship since the tortoise had been hiding in Worldbearer Firmament. The truth was that due to Ninth Lady’s humble beginning, she needed all the help possible for cultivation.

Worldbearer noticed this and went as far as helping her derive the gluttonous beast’s innate gift. This turned into a foundation solid enough to reach the primordial stage.

“Sigh, Elder, I’m not sure we can get through this. It looks like I’ll lose my cultivation if I’m lucky enough to survive.” Apex said.

“I apologize, Brother Apex, I owe you one.” Worldbearer said.

“Haha, I’ve lived for many years and have so few friends, so I don’t mind dying today in battle for you. This is worth it.” Apex laughed.

“Thank you.” Worldbearer bowed in response.

Others didn’t know that these two ancient beings have been friends for epochs. While their descendants have become strangers, they maintained ties all this time. Thus, Apex answered the call for help.

“Hahaha, then let us not hold back and make our way out of Divine Firmament. Although I might not be as close, I still owe Elder Tortoise a favor, I suppose it is enough to throw my life away too.” Hao Cai said.

“Shit, do we have a choice? Fine, I don’t think they can crush us that fast.” Ninth Lady shook her head.

Other immortals listened and talked among themselves.

“I suppose not all immortals are emotionless.” One of them said.

Immortals became distant and unattached in time. This was why they had no issues watching worlds fall. Thus, the friendship on display was exceedingly rare and stirring.

“Elder, this is the final order, return to the divine beasts before we show no mercy.” Kun Peng said murderously.
