Emperor’s Domination

“Up to you.” Li Qiye said.

“Then today, I will control the primordial and fight you, Sacred Teacher. Please oblige.” Taichu challenged.

“I spared you last time out of respect for your master. This time, it will be a true death.” Li Qiye said.

“I couldn’t ask for more.” Taichu said firmly.

“This monster, crazy but such admirable determination.” Supreme Black Ancestor remarked.

Bao Pu and the ghost were put to shame. Taichu’s greatness persisted over four generations due to his tenacity, not just his brilliant talent.

The duo was also brilliant, albeit not to the same level. However, they still surpassed virtually everyone else.

Bao Pu came from the earliest days but had the support of the three immortals. Keep in mind that the immortals were comparable to the primordial ones and viewed him as a son. His advantages far exceeded Desolate Ancestor’s and only slightly inferior to Taichu’s. Xian Chengtian was another on the same level.

Therefore, he was once fearless and determined just like Taichu. He didn’t fear primordial immortals.

However, after wars and near-death experiences in Uncrossable Expanse, he gradually changed. Unlike Fire Ancestor, he had more resources and the three immortals’ blessings. Alas, the dao was endless. He knew he needed to surpass countless tests and sufferings before reaching the immortal realm.

What about after becoming one? The road was still endless. Therefore, he chose a shortcut for a faster route, wanting to become just as strong as his masters.

Time didn’t wait for him. He needed a quicker and easier path instead of his masters’ approach of building a firm foundation.

He obtained his goal, breaking through the bottleneck and becoming an immortal. Unfortunately, the moment he wavered, his dao heart also crumbled. His fearless nature also scattered to the wind.

Taichu, on the other hand, still wanted to try despite knowing the insurmountable odds. He stayed true to his original aspiration.

Bao Pu became jealous. He was once like this, not as powerful but free and full of pride. Now, he had nothing but stagnation.

Weaker cultivators didn’t realize the difference in power and how Taichu was prepared for death. They assumed that the primordial immortal realm was unbeatable. They lacked knowledge of the previous epochs and only knew Zhan Sansheng and Desolate Ancestor.

Bao Pu was the third immortal but this was not publicized. Moreover, they considered him to be weaker than the other two. Thus, they didn’t truly appreciate Taichu’s determination, ready to give up everything for one single attempt.

“Still won’t give up?” Li Qiye asked.

“Sacred Teacher, my master told me that in the fight against the high heaven, he plays a part and so do you. Since you do not wish to control the primordial will, I shall do it and become a participant in the future battle.” Taichu said.

“Want me to give way?” Li Qiye smiled.

“Yes, Sacred Teacher.” Taichu said: “If I defeat you today, my master will be next.”

“Your determination is commendable, but the problem is that you’re too impatient.” Li Qiye said.

“I am aware.” He said: “This might only be my opportunity because the master told me once you let go, we will no longer have a shot. I must do it before then.”

“He’s not wrong.” Li Qiye smiled: “I can only say you were born in the wrong era.”

“Master also said if I had been born earlier, it might have been possible. Now, it’s not only him but also you.” Taichu chuckled: “But to be born in the same era as you two is an honor. The dao would be boring and lonely without you two shining the way. I am prepared to shine one last time instead of falling to mediocrity.”

Many became speechless after hearing him.

“Very well, be ready for your final battle then.” Li Qiye smiled.

“It will fulfill my lifelong aspiration, not to mention the honor of being killed by you, Sacred Teacher. But if I somehow win, it will just be me and Master henceforth.” Taichu said.

“Can you kill me?” Li Qiye smiled.

“I suppose I can with the primordial will.” Taichu said: “In my opinion, this is the only thing that can kill you in this world.” Taichu speculated.

“We’ll find out.” Li Qiye said.
