Emperor’s Domination

A man stood by the portal, blocking the tree from sight and attracting everyone’s attention.

If he were to stand in a group of immortals, he would still draw attention. He was in his early twenties; his black, glossy hair flowed freely like a starry night. Each strand looked soft and smooth, putting beauties to shame. They swayed to the wind and rippled like waves.

His smile was warm and radiant, bright and full of life. Even the coldest heart filled with sorrow could be melted by his smile. One afflicted with wounds could be gently stitched together.

Most importantly, he was not all appearance and no substance. The depth of his eyes was unfathomable and drew people in.

His harmonious aura was omnipresent. Everyone could sense his existence regardless of the location. This wasn’t a fleeting feeling either.

Ants, mortals, and cultivators could perceive a formless divine being watching and protecting them until death.

Not to mention others, even the ancient Bao Pu didn’t recognize him.

“Oh?” Primal Yin Immortal Ghost found him familiar.

“Who is this? He’s extraordinary.” Supreme Black Ancestor murmured.

“Zhan Sansheng.” Desolate Ancestor didn’t find this surprising.

The name shocked all listeners.

“Zhan Sansheng!” Bao Pu repeated.

“So it’s him.” The ghost understood why he found the man familiar since he had interacted with Zhan Sansheng for a long period.

Those who heard tales of him couldn’t connect this radiant man to the notorious cultivator.

“Master.” Weizhen and countless disciples from Supreme Heaven knelt.

“Zhan Sansheng is of the past.” The man smiled brightly like a boy running under the sun, not minding being drenched in his sweat: “In this life, my name is Taichu.” [1]

Zhan Sansheng always had a different name for each life – Moshi, Dingtian, and Poye. This time, he chose Taichu.

Would he be Zhan Sisheng as well? [2]

“My young noble permitted.” Desolate Ancestor said.

“Yes, Sacred Teacher allowed me to learn the mysteries of the primordial and how to control it for another rebirth within the tree.” Taichu smiled.

“Buzz.” Taichu waved and a primordial light appeared all around the world. It appeared around all cultivators as well.

Only one other person had this ability in Three Immortals – Desolate Ancestor.

The countless strands of light gathered behind Taichu, forming the image of a primordial tree.

When others stared at it, they felt so alive and eternal. The world itself recognized their existence, not just themselves.

Trees belonging to cultivators, especially after the imperial apex level, were massive. However, they grew within the fate palaces and only manifested to the outside world as images.

His tree, on the other hand, was real and resembled the center of the world. It made spectators want to contribute their power to earn its recognition and approval.

“I am one with the primordial, so it follows me.” Taichu said sentimentally.

“Impressive, you crossed the threshold and gained mastery.” Desolate Ancestor said.

“You endured hardship and found the primordial while I was born in the primordial due to Sacred Teacher’s mercy. I am ashamed of the difference between us.” He said.

Overlords such as Supreme Black Ancestor understood Li Qiye’s involvement. The question was why? Taichu was now in charge of this world’s primordial and acted as a source.

“Beginning and ending with the primordial, a peerless prodigy.” Desolate Ancestor said.

“Merely born as such, I am still humbled by your pioneering ability, the founder of the primordial path.” He said.

1. Taichu is Primordial, unsure whether to use English or pinyin. English makes sense since it’s literal and applicable, pinyin makes sense because his previous names were pinyin. ☜

2. San is 3, Si is 4 ☜
