I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 698: 12.100 - Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Second Case - End of the World and the World Seed [End]

The world eater fragment laughs as if seeing something funny before him. He obviously knows Ye Xiajie but the one he knows is the version of him who was the Supreme Sovereign that controls the realm of Abyss. To see that dangerous being ended up in such a state, he finally remembered what happened. He couldnʼt stop himself from laughing. He was so delighted to see that arrogant man degrade into this state.

”No memories of the past. Incomplete Realm, that dragon of yours is not even a quarter of your original strength, with your soul core missing how will you be able to fight me? You are only a bit more powerful than that pair of first-generation systems you made yourself.”

”Is that so?”

Suddenly, Ye Xiajieʼs whole demeanor turned cold and murderous. Darkness surrounds him as if paying respect to their king and within that black world only the silver crown on his head was glowing like a lone star. It glows like moonlight in the evening sky.

The world eater fragment lost his smile and arrogance when he felt the familiar aura coming from the crown. All of the fragments share their memories regardless of the world or universe. Even those who perished under someoneʼs hand would send their memories to the remaining alive fragments of their race. This is to ensure that the main body would possess all knowledge of all worlds in all realms.

The current world eater fragment doesnʼt have any memories of that silver crown made of stars. But only an instinctive fear and hatred spread in his body when he saw that silver crown.

ʼWhat is this? Iʼm trembling?! But I donʼt even know what Iʼm afraid of! Is it this incomplete God of Void? Impossible! We are not afraid of him even in his full power. But this instinctive terror I feel coming from him, Iʼm sure this is a memory only a body could feel but it wasnʼt originally mine. Another fragmentʼs fear? But why would it transfer this kind of knowledge!?ʼ Thoughts of the world eater fragment.

Looking at his uncontrollable shaking hands, the fake Datura couldnʼt help but frown. He stares at the incomplete soul that calls himself the God of Void. The only thing that caught his eye was that exquisite crown on his head glowing brightly like a crescent moon.

ʼWhat the hell is that crown? The God of Void doesnʼt wear a silver crown but a crimson crown as if made of blood. Where the hell does he get it?ʼ

While the fake Datura is in confusion, he tries his best to control the unknown fear in him.

Only then did he hear Ye Xiajie and said, ”If my incomplete strength isnʼt enough then... How about the domain that my wife owns? In all realms, there is no other God who had a stronger destructive power than my wife.”

ʼDestructive Power? I know only one God who can use it!?ʼ

The world eater fragment panicked and said, ”Impossible! That child... That child is supposed to be dead. He died to revive you!!!”

Ye Xiajie was stunned and looked at the being in front of him like he couldnʼt believe what he had just heard.

”Died? Who the hell did you say died for me!?” shouted Ye Xiajie.

The world eater fragment sneered, ”You donʼt remember? Ah right, you donʼt have your memories as the God of Void. Of course, you wouldnʼt remember. The trial of revival needs two main requirements. First is the soul fragment of the person being revived (Ye Xiajie) and the soul of the person reviving the former (Hei Anjing). The Origin would strip everything the latter have as nourishment for the one to be revived.”

”Blood and flesh to keep the formerʼs body alive. In short, the latter would be his source of strength. Its existence is not much different from fertilizer and the former is the plant. The soul of the latter would be ripped apart into fragments and the strongest would remain but the side of the former keeping your soul fragment and body stable.”

”Of course, the latter can cultivate no he must continue cultivating this while looking for your soul fragments planted by the Origin in different worlds. Those soul fragments of yours live a new life and only after you died naturally in that world that the world energy would be yours to take. But a soul fragment of your caliber is pretty a heavenly relic. Any Gods or Demons who can eat your soul would become a high-tier god. Thatʼs how delicious I mean... Powerful your soul fragments are.”

”So the latter would always be there protecting you. In the first trial, he can never appear on your side. He cannot prevent your death whether it was a natural death or intentional. Not only that... All the injuries and wounds you would suffer in all those lives will be transferred to him. Then the latter would transfer his cultivation or world energy he got in each worlds into your body. Leaving his soul battered and no way to heal. He cannot be healed. He is only a soul fragment himself and his cultivation would decrease as time passes until the last stage of the second trial.”

”Hahaha~ do you want to know what the final stage of the second trial is? Iʼm sure the one trying to revive you didnʼt tell you. But I can assure you... Hehehe~ the final stage of the second phase of the trial is something so much more than despair that you would hardly be able to bear it haha~”

Ye Xiajie shouted, ”Shut up! Tell me!!!?”

”Tell you? Sure~~ but... You let me go.”

”Let me leave this world unharmed and I will tell you what you want. How about it?”

Ye Xiajie was silent but one could see him hesitating. He wanted to kill this annoying bug in front of him but he wanted to know what is the final stage that he is talking about and why would his wife not tell him about it.

”I... Ag---!!!”

Before he could respond a scream came from the world eater fragment. When he turned his head to look he saw golden red chains binding the world eater fragment with its vessel it couldnʼt even escape with just his soul alone. Light pierced through his domain and countless holes appeared made with light.

When his domain was forcefully destroyed he saw the gentle smile of a holy-like existence of a man with golden eyes and long aureate hair. This man is the embodiment of light itself.

Ye Xiajie murmured instinctively, ”Brother?”

Then he frowned as if he couldnʼt believe what he had just said. He had no memories of this man at all. How could he call him brother? But he knew the identity of this holy being.

The Supreme Ruler of Light, Sovereign God Shen Siwang.

Out of nowhere, someone took away the silver crown on his head and a voice as if it came from thousands of years of glaciers reached his ears with a mocking tone.

”My nephew lends his authority to you but as useless as you are... You couldnʼt even use it properly. Tsk!”

The man who appeared behind Ye Xiajie all of the sudden and took away his wifeʼs crown is none other than the other Supreme ruler of Vearth.

The Supreme Ruler of Life and Death, Sovereign Tyrant God Mo Baojun.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Return that to me! Thatʼs my wifeʼs...”

”Your wife? Please do not forget you are still missing one more important marriage you havenʼt fulfilled yet. Without the completion of the Trial of Marriage, even if you marry my nephew countless times in all those worlds you cannot be considered his official other half. You are just a named husband at most,” said Mo Baojun.

Ye Xiajie wanted to refute but couldnʼt. He knew that this annoying person before him can be considered his elder since he is his wifeʼs biological uncle. Plus, the Mo Clan is strict when it comes to officiating marriage in their family. Every couple in the Mo Clan had to complete the three trials of marriage. The soulmate marriage, soul marriage, and Dao marriage. He and Jingʼer had completed the two marriages.

The marriage of soulmates in the Beast world and the marriage of souls in the Supernatural World. The last marriage is Dao. It can only be completed in a Cultivation World but the one to complete that wasnʼt him but his soul core, Xia Jieye. Thatʼs the promise they both made.

So he could only shut his mouth when Mo Baojun spoke in such a way toward him. He couldnʼt harm anyone from Jingʼerʼs family.

Shen Siwang flew toward his wife, Mo Baojun, and noticed that he was able to shut up his brother with a few words if it was before these two would have fought to the death on the spot already.

”He changed. He is much calmer now,” said Shen Siwang.

Mo Baojun glanced at Ye Xiajie coldly and snorted, ”He is pretending. Why would a lunatic change after one reincarnation? Anyway, Iʼm eliminating that world eater fragment first.”

”Go ahead, Wifey. I caught it for you~” said Shen Siwang with a smile as he gave his wife a kiss on his cheeks.

Mo Baojun kissed his lips in return and walked forward towards the bound being and wore the silver crown on his head. Paired with his long white hair, the silver crown looked like it was a part of him.

The world eater fragment panicked when he felt the aura of light coming from the two new people who had just arrived. He would never forget them even if they turned to ashes. Especially the burning pain in his skin which was bound by the golden chains.

”Agh!!! Siwang!! You madman! You married this Tyrant in the end!! You are crazy! The craziest man in all realms!! You even made him an apostle of the Origin! He is a Mo. They are born from the light yet at the same time darkness. They are beings of Yin like your brother!”

”So noisy. After this deity was reborn my whole structure had been changed to light. I may be a Mo but my main element is Light.” said Mo Baojun.

Suddenly with the movements of Mo Baojunʼs fingers a string made of light gold created from light and ice wrapped around the body of Datura. With the soul of the world eater fragment imprisoned in the vessel, as long as the body dies the soul also perishes for eternity.

Mo Baojun muttered, ”Domain of Ruination, Activate.”

Suddenly, a small white void domain similar to Ye Xiajieʼs domain of darkness appeared. Inside of it is Mo Baojun who was controlling the domain and his target, the world eater fragment.

Mo Baojun only glanced at his husband who immediately removed the golden chain around the vessel of Datura. Inside the white domain, all beings aside from the owner of the domain and those he chooses not to harm.

Inside the White domain, no one is more absolute than the wearer of the silver crown. The world eater fragment becomes a stringless puppet and falls on the White domain devoid of anything. He no longer has any senses whether it was sight, hearing, etc. Like a living dead he had no control of anything on his own.

Ye Xiajie was stunned by what was happening standing beside him was Shen Siwang who was friendly to him as always.

”First time seeing your wifeʼs domain of destruction. For a domain that rules ruination, it was too quiet, right? But every time your wife used this domain, that white space would be dyed by blood. Even though the world eater fragment looks like he is a living dead that thing is still alive though he had lost all of his senses and authority in himself. That is the domain of absolute carnage only for the one who wears the crown. Xiao Jingʼer lent it to you because he knew that your current strength would be enough to kill it. But with his domain, you would still be able to kill it. For me and my Baobei, it is quite hard for us to kill a world eater race. This is because this world eater was born with only a pure instinct to eat. Only the power of your side (Darkness) is able to harm it. Our side excels in healing and resurrection instead but not in the killing.” explained Ye Xiajie.

”But right now, you canʼt wield the pure energy of darkness. He is right, you donʼt even have half of your real strength because your soul core hasnʼt merged with you yet.”

Ye Xiajie ignored this manʼs words calling him weak. But asked instead, ”Why are you here?”

”We came to pick you up. You do know that only your soul core is allowed to enter the Cultivation World. You must stay with us in the Netherworld and wait for Xiao Jingʼer to return. Youʼll come back with us right?” said Shen Siwang.

He was smiling like a kind brother next door but Ye Xiajie knew that if he said otherwise this man would have bound him in chains and dragged him back to the Netherworld regardless of his disagreement.

”Tsk! Like I have another choice,” said Ye Xiajie.

Mo Baojun was about to eliminate the World Eater Fragment when suddenly it was able to break through and regain one of his senses back. Mo Baojun isnʼt Hei Anjing. He doesnʼt have full authority in the Domain of Ruination.

”Xia Jieye! You help me escape. I will tell you what will happen in the final stage of the second trial of revival!”

”You do not need to tell me. I already know,” said Ye Xiajie.

”Heh~ why are you lying? Your reaction just now was too strong and you obviously donʼt know.”

”I know... I just donʼt want to believe it. I donʼt want to accept it and keep denying it. Hei Jue told me indirectly. I rejected it in my heart. Jingʼer prevents me from knowing the past because he doesnʼt want me to realize it. Now your words were the last straw...”

”Why... Why do I have to kill Jingʼer to complete this damn trial!?”

This shout from Ye Xiajie made his aura spread in the whole world. In just a short moment the whole world was engulfed by darkness except for the small white domain and the Gods in it, the whole world was eaten by the darkness. In a split second, a world no longer exists. Only a small glowing purple seed remains in the field of stars and universe.

At this scene, Mo Baojun and Shen Siwang were dumbfounded. The power Ye Xiajie released just now is almost the same as his original strength.

Shen Siwang looked at his brother in disbelief, ”You... You took back the Authority of Abyss from your soul core?”

Cough. Cough.

A trace of blood trickles from the corner of Ye Xiajieʼs mouth and wipes it nonchalantly. Shen Siwang and Mo Baojun frowned when they saw that.

”Stop using Authority over Abyss. Your current soul couldnʼt bear the backlash,” said Shen Siwang.

But Ye Xiajie ignores him. Instead, he looked at the silver crown on Mo Baojunʼs head and commanded.

”Eat it and return it to your owner.” Ye Xiajie said to the crown.

”AAH! NO!!!”

Munch. Munches~

Then as if following his command the silver crown floated away from Mo Baojun. The White domain as if it became alive ate the world eater fragment alive and only the sound of crunching can be heard. It even burped like a child.

”Jingʼer, stop hiding,” said Ye Xiajie.

Once the white domain disappeared the silver crown floated towards Ye Xiajie and it morphed into a small white fairy that looks exactly like Hei Anjing. It flew towards Ye Xiajieʼs and kissed the corner of his eyes and his lips.

With a smile they heard Hei Anjingʼs voice from it, ”I will be back soon. Prepare yourself okay?~”

Obviously, this crown was made of Hei Anjingʼs soul fragment as well. He didnʼt wholly fade just now but transformed part of his soul to temporarily give Ye Xiajie control over himself. As expected, Ye Xiajie just stared at Hei Anjing but didnʼt voice his agreement.

Sigh~ ”Forget it, just act as if I didnʼt say that just now,”

Hei Anjing could only sigh and kiss his husbandʼs nose.

”I love you, my love,~”

”I love you too, Jingʼer,” responded Ye Xiajie.

Only then did the crown fly away to return to its owner. Hei Anjingʼs soul imprint in that crown also disappeared as he finished saying his farewell to his beloved.

The three looked at the streak of light within the countless universe. As if a moving star moving through the galaxies alive.

Mo Baojun and Shen Siwang didnʼt converse with the souk imprint left behind by Hei Anjing as the imprint would only respond to its receiver and that was Ye Xiajie. On the other hand, Mo Baojun carefully hid the World Seed left behind by the destroyed world.

”Letʼs go back to Vearth. Things are done here,” said Mo Baojun. With a wave of his hand, a portal connected to Netherworld opened.

Shen Siwang looked at Ye Xiajie and it was only when the latter entered the portal that he and his wife followed. They arenʼt going to let him go to the Cultivation World Hei Anjing went to. As it wasnʼt his mission to do so, his currency task is to wait. Wait for his other half to come back to him with his last missing soul core.
