I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 650: 12.52 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: First Case - Killer on run.

[Kill Prosecutor Yeʼs confidant, Lou Wei!]

Hei Yuhua said, ”I donʼt know who he is. After Ye Yuyan was reinstated he also left the headquarters and even went abroad. He must be chasing after the traces of the organization.”

[He is... Surprisingly, he is even working with an agent from Aster. Whatʼs the name of that former subordinate of yours? Yui... Yon...]

”Yun Ming? Of course, he would help Lou Wei. The two of them are secretly lovers.” commented Hei Yuhua.

[No wonder. Our organization no longer has headquarters in another country. Poppy says he wanted to stay in this country, thatʼs why we moved everything here. But if those two keep following the traces left behind they would sooner or later come back to this country. When they returned. You must fulfill the second mission if you feel like doing so.]

Hei Yuhua spoke, ”After completing two more missions, I would be allowed to meet Poppy as youʼve said, right?”

[Yes, thatʼs the condition Poppy wanted you to fulfill. For an agent like you, killing a man like Lou Wei should be easy. Thought that Mad Prosecutor might end up killing you if he learned you were the one who did it. Well~ do as you see fit. Are you going to accept the second mission, Hydrangea?]

”Of course. Wait for the result,” said Hei Yuhua as he ended the call.

He also removed all traces of the call and placed the phone in his pocket. He took an umbrella and walked out of the abandoned church walking under the rain. As for his destination, obviously, he left to meet his other teammates.

Meanwhile somewhere within the district, a man wearing an all-black coat was sniffing at his hands covered in blood. Squatting near the body of a woman with a huge wound in her stomach, she lay on the cold and wet floor lifeless. This lady is one of the surviving victims of last yearʼs serial killing.

She was lucky the first time and everything ended today as she still died under this personʼs hands.

Sniff~

”Hah~ itʼs fresh and... Comfortable~ The 21st sacrifice. One more... Only one more to win against my foster fatherʼs record. Hehehe~” mumbled the man covered in a black raincoat as he walked away after finishing his task for that night.

Blood strolls down from his raincoat but is washed away by the falling rain. As more time passes by... there would no longer be any more traces left behind and he would be free from being caught once again.

Brakes!

By the time, the murderer had left the scene, a police car stopped at the exact location where the deceased is as Hua Heiyu calculated.

Wei Lou said, ”Fuck! Itʼs really here!!!”

”How can this happen? Did he guess it or calculate it? How can he predict it exactly like that!?” exclaimed Officer Ying Wu in disbelief.

Prosecutor Ye Yuyan frowned as he remembered himself grabbing the collar of his wife a few moments ago. He truly cannot change. For the sake of justice and righteousness, he couldnʼt even see what was right in front of him. Thinking of this he couldnʼt ignore the churning pain in his chest but still calmly acted according to the situation.

”The murderer must have not fled that far yet. Look for a man in a raincoat with the scent of blood on him. Search the whole area!!!” commanded Prosecutor Ye Yuyan.

Officer Ying Wu started talking in his waking talkie and commanded some police who were summoned by the Prosecutor to search the whole area. Wei Lou himself sent orders to his little brothers to search for the murderer.

Once Officer Ying Wu and Wei Lou leave to follow his command. Prosecutor Ye Yuyan, who was left behind, didnʼt even move. His wifeʼs words still echo in his ears.

{It might be too late.}

Staring at the dead body just near his foot, Prosecutor Ye Yuyan is even more depressed in his heart.

Sigh~

”I should have brought him with me then left him alone in that ruined church,” mumbled Ye Yuyan. ”I just hope Yun Jie has stayed as well.”

Then he brought out his phone and started calling a few people who would handle the crime scene. He waited there until those professionals in forensics came over to take over.

Meanwhile, all over the district, police officers and men who looked like thugs were running all over the place looking for someone in a raincoat. Theyʼve bumped into multiple people wearing raincoats but they havenʼt met one smelling blood on them. Theyʼve been roaming around the area for hours but havenʼt seen anyone of such.

Wei Lou was already so pissed that he stopped by the store to rest for a moment and buy a cigarette to calm his nerves down. He entered the small store which was open at this time and bumped into someone wearing a black shirt and carrying an umbrella with him. Since Wei Lou didnʼt smell any scent of blood or see a raincoat on the person he ignored him and shouted to the boss of the store that he wanted a smoke.

”Boss, give me a box of cigs and a lighter!” said Wei Lou.

The store owner said, ”Okay. Here you go.”

Wei Lou was about to pay for the cigarette when he noticed a splash of blood on the back of his left hand. This was the hand that bumped into that man in the shirt. Even though he wasnʼt a genius with critical thinking, his instinct as a police officer when finding criminals is even sharper than Ye Yuyan.

As soon as he saw the blood on the back of his hand, Wei Lou knew that this man was most likely the killer that was on the run. He immediately comes after him.

Wei Lou looked serious as he stared at the man holding an umbrella in front of him. He was ready to jump on him if the man even tried to run away

”Hey! You?! The one holding that black umbrella. It is you right? The one who bumped me inside the store just now!! Huh? Do you think you can just be me and leave just like that!? Come over here! Here!!” said Wei Lou.

He is pretending to be the mafia he currently looks like. This way if this man is indeed the killer, he would think that an ordinary thug is making things hard for him.

The store owner noticed the fight in front of his store and noticed a thug asking someone he is familiar with for a beating. He shouted at Wei Lou to show his support for the acquaintance.

The store owner said, ”Oi! Doctor Shen didnʼt even bump into you intentionally. My store is too small, it is normal for someone to be inside. Donʼt ask to fight unreasonably.”

”What!? He is Doctor Shen, Officer Ying Wu mentioned!?” Exclaimed Wei Lou as he glares at Doctor Shen.

Doctor Shen thought things werenʼt right when he saw Wei Louʼs reaction and immediately ran for it. He dashes like a marathon athlete who ignores even the falling rain on the top of his head

Wei Lou instantly chased after the man and cursed, ”Damn! Itʼs really that killer! Donʼt run!!!”

He immediately used the walkie-talkie and sent messages not only to the policemen but also to his little brothers.

”Suspect sighted! Suspect sighted! He wasnʼt wearing a raincoat anymore. He is wearing black pants and a black shirt and is currently running. He is running through the alleys!! Fuck!” said WeibLou as he immediately sprinted to chase after the criminal.

Officer Ying Wu who received this message instantly issued the pursuit command. In the middle of the night under the rain, numerous men were running all over in the direction Wei Lou had mentioned trying to corner the culprit. But Wei Lou forgot to mention the existence of his thug brothers to the policemen causing conflict between the two groups.

When Wei Lou finally caught up with Doctor Shen, they fought toe to toe and noticed that both of them were skilled enough. Doctor Shenʼs move was fast and precise; all attacks had the intention to kill. But Wei Lou is different. He is fast and stronger than Doctor Shen but his movements were done more to subdue him than kill him.

Doctor Shen also noticed his peculiarity and learned which group Wei Lou came from. He sneered and said while exchanging moves,

”Your movements I can see that you are not a thug as you portray. Instead, you look more like a field police undercover,” said Doctor Shen.

Thoughts of Wei Lou,  ʼHow did he know?!ʼ

Wei Lou was stunned as he thought his identity was busted and showed an opening at that last moment. Doctor Shen, a killer who honed his knife skills to perfection, didnʼt waste this opportunity and wanted to slit Wei Louʼs main artery in the neck.

ʼFuck! Iʼm dead! I miss Jieʼer~ʼ

He had an arrogant smile thinking he won this fight but Doctor Shen didnʼt notice the arrival of someone who wasnʼt supposed to be there. Just when Wei Lou thought he would be a goner someone grabbed his head and pulled him away from Doctor Shen barely dodging the knife that almost reaped his life.

OUCH!

Suddenly, a merciless thrust coke from the man who appeared out of nowhere holding a closed umbrella in front of Doctor Shen and Wei Lou. The tip of the umbrella was targeting the head of Doctor Shen and he dodge it only for the tip of the umbrella to dip and stab at his right shoulder.

Whooshed! Stabbed!

AAHH!!!

Doctor Shenʼs thoughts, ʼThis person is different from that undercover police. He intended to kill me without hesitation!ʼ

”Shit!” Doctor Shen ran away but Hei Yuhua didnʼt pursue him. Wei Lou tried to run after the man as he saw that Hei Yuhua wasnʼt chasing.

Hei Yuhua stared at them with emotionless eyes. His silver eyes look colder than the temperature of the ice rain falling on his head. No one noticed the trembling legs under him as well as some traces of blood tinting his white shoes together with mud.

---

The same evening in the middle of the night, almost at dawn, near the house of the second surviving victim from last yearʼs serial killing. Docter Shen who was on run bumped into a police officer hiding in an alley near his final victimʼs house.

”There are lots of police protecting her like this. Thankfully, I made some preparations in advance and ask that man to work for me,” mumbled Doctor Shen as he hid in the corner treating his stabbed wound in his right shoulder.

It was the same wound Hei Yuhua stabbed mercilessly.

Hiss~

”Who the fuck is that man?! He looks like an omega but how can he have that much strength on his slender body. He is more dangerous than that thug police officer! Anyway, I need to hide first... This place is the safest.” murmured Doctor Shen as he stole the officer clothes he took from the police he had just killed in the alley. ”I can use that man...” then he looked at the dead body of the officer and thought of a plan to control the current situation and avoid being caught by this man who just arrived.

Then he saw someone running towards the house who was wearing a black suit. It was Yun Jie who is wearing the disguise of Jie Yun. After his conversation with Hei Yuhua at the abandoned church, Yun Jie hurriedly ran away and went to the recorded address of the second victim whom Officer Ying Wu had interviewed the last time.

Yun Jie stood in front of the house gate for a long time. He even forgot to bring an umbrella with him when he ran out. As a differentiated omega, he might be stronger than normal omegas but... He wouldnʼt be stronger than ordinary alphas. Bathing under such a cold and almost freezing rain would definitely make him sick. Even so, he still stood there without any reaction as he hesitated to knock on the gates.

One of the hidden police protecting the house recognized him as someone from Prosecutor Ye Yuyanʼs team. They gave him an umbrella though it was a bit too late as he was already soaked through by the rain.

The police officer who approached him asked, ”Sir. You are someone who worked with Prosecutor Ye and Captain Ying Wu right? Was there a problem?”

Jie Yun stared at this police officer then suddenly approached him and smelt a strong scent of medicine on him. But he is a medic from Officer Ying Wuʼs group on a mission to protect the last surviving target of the serial killer.

”The first surviving victim was killed tonight. I came over to check for the other surviving victim,” answered Jie Yun.

The police officer was startled. As if backing up Jie Yunʼs words, the phone possessed by the police officer suddenly rings.

Ring. Ring.

Clicked!

”Yes, Officer Shen is speaking! EH!? Captain Ying Wu!”

Then the police officer personally received a call from an unknown number calling himself Officer Ying Wu. The weather these days is so bad that call reception is very affected by it. There would be more flinching sounds whenever having a conversation on the phone.

”Yes, I understand. I will bring more comrades with me to protect the target.”

”Actually, captain. One of Prosecutor Yeʼs team members is here. Yes, he just arrived.”

”No, it is not a young man in hoodies. But an adult man in a suit. Yes... I will give him the phone!”

Passing the phone to Jie Yun, Police Officer Shen said, ”Police comrade, Captain Ying Wu wanted to speak with you on the phone.”

{Since when did you get there. Did he say something about the second victim?}

”I only dropped by to check if she is okay. How was the other one?” asked Jie Yun. He indirectly changes the topic and prevents Police Officer Ying Wu from asking him why he is here.

Police Officer Ying Wu responded, {Too late. She was already gone by the time we arrived. We are trying to search the whole area as the killer must have not gone too far. Please stay there and protect the last surviving victim. Are others with you?}

Jie Yun responded, ”No. I donʼt know. I came alone.”

{I thought you can with someone. I would have loved to ask for another helping hand to catch traces of the serial killer on the run.}

”He would only leave if he finds things interesting or you buy him food. I will check on the last victim. Continue your work.” said Jie Yun as he returned the phone to the police officer and proceeded to meet the lady who is supposed to be his elder sister from the same orphanage as she.

Ding. Dong.

He rang the doorbell but the person who came to meet him wasnʼt the lady owner of the house but instead a man.
