I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 661: 12.63 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Second Case - Datura and Yi Rouya

Within the city, at some abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city...

Inspector Yi Rouya couldnʼt remember when he had lost consciousness and where he had been brought to. When he once tried to open his eyes, he almost couldnʼt open them due to the bright light in his surroundings. Later he noticed a hard sensation behind him when he tried to move.

But he knew that he wasnʼt lying down on something but instead chained to the cold wall behind him as he could feel his weight pulling him down due to gravity. He could feel metal rings around his wrists and ankles obviously pinning him to the wall. The scent of blood from his surroundings was too strong and an intense fear hit his heart. He almost did not want to open his eyes due to terror.

He started trembling so badly that Inspector Yi Rouya couldnʼt hold back his whole body from shaking from instinctively fear. For a coward like him, he is most afraid of death. So the situation he is in right now almost frightened him to death.

His eyes were completely closed, fear prevented itself from opening them until a warm thing fell on his face. It was a warm droplet of liquid but when the scent of rust assaulted his nose, Inspector Yi Rouya couldnʼt hold back and shrieked. No longer able to continue pretending to be unconscious he could only fearfully open his eyes.

Through the blurry and distorted vision, he saw that familiar pale white face and gold-rimmed glasses of that delicate-looking doctor. It was the same one with a missing right eye and a huge wound vertically lining his right cheeks connected to his nonexistent right eye. His remaining light lavender left eyes look dull under the light clearly he is almost half blind with these eyes as well.

That white coat usually worn by doctors looks out of place from the scene on the street before, now completely compatible with the setup of the area he could now see with his eyes. Spotlight is used during hospital surgeries. A clean table full of knives of different types of scalpels and tools for surgery. The white rubber gloves this man in front of him was wearing and the strong scent of blood in his surroundings.

The glaring light on himself was so strong that Inspector Yi Rouya could only narrow his eyes instinctively. He recognized the man in the white coat before him. It was the same person he not only offended in the alleys and the same person who kidnapped him.

He heard a voice that was both excited and cheerful, saying, ”You are awake.”

Inspector Yi Rouya once again trembled to hear the voice talking to him. Those thin lips curled up into a smile frightened him to almost crying but he still held back in fear of angering the person who kidnapped him. His fear makes him cry with soundless tears.

He really couldnʼt hold back his tears as the scene in front of him was too frightening. Those slender pale white hands covered in white gloves were holding a scalpel soaked in crimson blood. The cheerful smile on this manʼs face made him look friendly in normal circumstances but it only turned Inspector Yi Rouyaʼs blood cold. Now he knew where the strong scent of blood was coming from.

Not far from the wall where he is pinned, a metal table can be found near the man in a white coat. Well, his white coat could not be called white anymore as some parts of it were long soaked in scarlet blood making him no different from a serial killer who killed for fun.

This man in a white doctorʼs coat is one of the executives of the Red Poppy Syndicate. His codename is Datura, the mad scientist of the syndicate. His main forte is creating unknown drugs with illegal components but he had a very bad hobby. He loves slicing peopleʼs bodies. Corpses would never end up good in his hands as he would slice here and there until all limbs, fingers, toes, and more were cleanly sliced apart in a perfect manner.

The stained pants of Inspector Yi Rouya this morning were once again wet by the same yellowish thing from before. He once again peed on his pants in fear. Moreover, it is much worse than now as he was truly terrified by the scene.

”Yah! You peed. How funny ba~ when I first saw your pants are also wet. So you love peeing in your pants ba?~” asked the mad scientist, Datura.

Datura approached him and using his white gloves tainted with blood he touched Inspector Yi Rouyaʼs cheeks and pinched them as if playing with them. Another wave of the strong scent of rust rushed into his nose making him almost hurl on the spot. For a delicate omega like Inspector Yi Rouya, this reaction is normal.

In his unconscious fear, his pheromones spread out as if trying to mask himself from the strong scent of blood. The smell of a pleasant honeysuckle-like scent spreads in the area. There is also a fantasy note of a very sweet narcotic scent. When Datura smelt it he fell in love with it. This is the scent that he loves the most. The scent of datura flowers in reality. He loves the Datura flower the most so when this fragrance suddenly comes out from this weak-looking omega with ordinary beauty before him, he felt he found the one he had been looking for all this time.

He chuckles in happiness.

”Hahaha~ this scent? You have this smell that is similar to that of datura flowers! I like it very much, darling~ even though I look this petite, I am still an alpha. I love your scent the most. So you can only become mine~” said the mad scientist, Datura.

But Inspector Yi Rouya is too afraid that he already couldnʼt hear what the man is talking about. He only heard the metal ring on him click open and his weak body fell on that man with the scent of blood and cold evening night mixing together near his nose. He suddenly felt hot all over his body and knew what was happening right now. His heat arrives unexpectedly at this moment.

”Ahn~”

He couldnʼt hold back a moan when he tried to move in Daturaʼs embrace just now. He finally realized that the weird scent of blood mixed with the scent of the evening night breeze was this manʼs pheromones.

”Shush~ wait for a bit darling~ this place isnʼt suitable for me to take you. Hehehe~ Who would expect Iʼll find my fated mate in this kind of circumstances? Iʼve always wanted to do an experiment about two fated mates and their instinctive closeness with one another. I wanted to see their limits and to what extent this intimacy and dependence lasted. Now that I have the perfect subject including myself Iʼm going to have fun~” said the mad scientist, Datura.

Even if he had found his most important mate, unlike in the past when he had lost his passion for experiments, the current Datura had a strong passion for it. This is because he found Inspector Yi Rouya more entertaining than that hateful Agent Hei Yuhua who took away his right eye.

He is mad about human experiments the most that Datura doesnʼt even care about using himself as a subject for his experiments. He had missed a few screws in his mind and grew up without knowing what emotions are and what feelings humans have. Thatʼs why the existence of fated mates who love each other instinctively as if their bonds were connected through their souls made him truly interested. He had always wanted to feel what these bonds are.

Finding out that Inspector Yi Rouya is his fated mate made him extremely happy because this means he found the two perfect subjects for that dream experiment of his.

In their past lives, Datura would always find himself watching Yi Rouya happily interacting with Ye Yuyan. Making him feel jealous and envious of such a loving relationship between the two and wanted to get it for himself. He also kidnapped Inspector Yi Rouya this time. But at that time his obsession with Yi Rouyaʼs love was stronger than his love for experiments. So when it was found out that the two were fated mates he pampered Yi Rouya to the heavens giving him whatever he wanted regardless of anything.

Datura of the past is a love-struck fool that would be delighted enough as long Inspector Yi Rouya smiles at him. He lost his mind in love and the Yi Rouya of that timeline made use of him.

But in this timeline, everything was different. Ye Yuyan openly shows his hate for Yi Rouya. He treated him as an enemy at any point and would have killed him on the spot if he wasnʼt a public servant. The movement of Ye Yuyan had always been watched by the people from the Red Poppy syndicate. Even to Daturaʼs eyes, Inspector Yi Rouya is nothing but a persistent pest that clings to the strong. So there was no obsession or envious of the once scripted love between Yi Rouya and Ye Yuyan. Without the world plot backing Yi Rouya, he would be nothing in the eyes of Ye Yuyan and the rest of the alphas in the world. His halo was destroyed as the world plot was ruined the moment Hei Anjing and the rest descended on this world.

Datura made a black room only for his fated mate, Yi Rouya. As for what he did inside the black room only the two inside know the contents of it.

On the other hand, Jie Yun and Wei Lou had to move separately to gather information about the second case their group was given. Jie Yun went to the schools and visited them one by one. On his way, he needs to walk past a road where a train would pass through and stand before the metal horizontal post blocking his way.

The metal post was preventing him from passing through a road as a train is scheduled to pass at this moment. He was eating a soft-serve cone of ice cream while waiting for the train to pass. Jie Yun could even hear the fast-approaching train that is about to move through the rail in front of him when he saw a high school student running under the metal post and passing down the road as if he was suicidal.

Jie Yun in his shock had to run after the kid and run faster to the other side almost getting hit by the train, both of them almost got hit. He could feel the turbulence of his heartbeat due to such a dangerous situation. In his anger, he grabbed the suicidal studentʼs collar and was about to punch him.

”Donʼt fucking play around! Damn Brat!”

He paused his fist from punching the kid when he saw traces of bruises on his face and tears strolling down his cheeks.

Jie Yun asked, ”Hey, are you okay!?”

But the young man did not reply and instead pushed Jie Yun away before making a run for it. Jie Yun hit the back of his head on the metal pole and forgot to stop the kid as he had no reason for it.

Hiss!

”My head. That hurt. That punk!!” said Jie Yun as he could only watch the kidʼs back running away from him.

He recalled the contents of the report on the drug case their team had gotten from Officer Ying Wu this morning. Those brown-colored white striped pants are obviously that high school which was involved in the case their team was dealing with and that kid just now happens to be the closest person to one of the young sellers of the New Ecstasy Flower drug spreading around the city.

”Are these brats for real!? They are going to bars at such young ages. Those bars allow minors to enter. Iʼm gonna report this to my brother later. That punk suddenly pushed me. I was just trying to save him.” mumbled Jie Yun as he remembered the bruises on that boyʼs eye and the corner of his lips.

”Is he being bullied? And he seems to be an omega. The weak would always be bullied unless they stood up for themselves. Schools are the miniature version of social relationships in society. Once you failed in that, it would be harder after you graduated from there.”

”Crossfield Private Highschool was it? Letʼs make that the first stop for my investigation.”

Jie Yun stood up from the ground and patted the dust on his clothes. He made a call and contacted Officer Ying Wu.

{Jie Yun? Why are you calling?}

Jie Yun responded, ”I need some help with something.”
