I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 656: 12.58 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Second Case - Special Guest

Morning arrives.

A married couple of the Ye Family had woken up together in bed, Ye Yuyan cooking for his wife and eating breakfast together. Ye Yuyan is always gentle and affectionate towards his mate. Since their little girl is not around they felt like returning on the days of their honeymoon. Sticking at each other and would always be together as if no one could separate them at all.

Ye Yuyan didnʼt forget to inform his wife about them already knowing of the phone call Hei Yuhua received from the Red Poppy Syndicateʼs number two. Codename ʼNightshadeʼ.

Bittersweet nightshade is a slender perennial vine or semi-woody shrub found throughout King County, especially in creeks and wetlands, as well as field edges, gardens, parks, and roadsides. This plant is toxic to people, pets, and livestock. Leaves are dark green to purple-tinged.

In the language of flowers, nightshade symbolizes silence or falsehood. A Victorian may interpret a gift of belladonna as a warning, a sign of death, or a meditation on the nature of good and evil.

It is a poisonous flower known for its purple beauty and toxicity. As someone who uses this codename, Nightshade is not much different from its flower meaning. She is the most loyal person under the Red Poppy Syndicate as well as the only person who had been by the side of the leader of this Syndicate right from the very beginning. Rumors in the Syndicate say that she is the lover of the Red Poppy Syndicate leader. Some weird murmurs say she is the leader itself.

But Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua knew that she wasnʼt. They didnʼt even know she was a woman in their last life plus, they also havenʼt seen the appearance of the Leader that the Syndicate revere except for knowing his codename as Poppy. This is why Hei Yuhua chose to become the Red Poppy Syndicate Executive, though he planned to enter the Upper echelons of the Red Poppy Syndicate, which he chose to ignore in his last life.

But becoming a real executive that could meet the leader is still too hard. He must complete three complementary missions from Poppy itself. The first one had been completed by Hei Yuhua when Azalea and Hyacinth safely entered the country. Right now his second mission was recently passed to him by Nightshade. That mission is to kill Lou Wei. Whether it was open killing or through assassination as long as Lou Wei died, his second mission can be completed.

Since Ye Yuyan and the rest of the team already knew about Hei Yuhuaʼs second mission, preparations for it had been started in secret; they had also contacted Yun Ming and Warden Lou to play around abroad. At this moment Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua had just finished eating breakfast and were watching TV in the living room. Hei Yuhua had eaten a disguise pill to hide his real appearance. They are waiting for Officer Ying Wu and the rest to arrive.

In just another half an hour, a knocking was heard coming from the front door.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Ye Yuyan was the one who opened the door this time as Hei Yuhuaʼs feet are currently injured and it is inconvenient for him to walk. He could exchange some points to instantly heal the medicine but Officer Ying Wu also saw the extent of his wounds on his feet, it would be unbelievable if the wounds disappeared in just one night.

Once the door was opened, the one standing outside the door was someone Ye Yuyan didnʼt recognize and he frowned for a moment as he stared cautiously at the smiling alpha in front of him.

Ye Yuyan had forbidden the entrance of outsiders, especially unregistered people entering the condominium building. He obviously does not recognize the man in front of him.

”Who the hell are you? How did you enter my building?” asked Ye Yuyan as he was reaching out for his gun in the compartment near the door.

He had hidden lots of weapons in all parts of the house. This is in preparation in case someone broke through into his building.

The man in front of him spoke but he was calm right from the beginning to the end. This unexpected visitor is none other than Lin Jiya.

Lin Jiya spoke, ”Please donʼt pull a gun on me. Itʼs useless~”

Suddenly a cute little black crow popped into thin air and fell on the top of Lin Jiyaʼs head.

Plop!

Caw!

[Please forgive my host for not introducing himself properly to the protagonist gong of this world, Mr. Ye Yuyan. I am System Wuya. This vessel of my host is called Lin Jiya. We are here to answer the summon of Celestial Lord Heiʼs System, Zhi Yang.]

A small moon appeared in the air from Ye Yuyanʼs side and floated in between Ye Yuyan and Lin Jiya.

System Yue spoke, [Yuyan, stop. They are allies. These two would help you catch Iris. Isnʼt the time for the full moon about to come?]

”Are they the same as Lord Hei? Gods descending in a mortalʼs body to the mortal lands?” asked Ye Yuyan.

Lin Jiya said, ”Wow~ they arenʼt really restricted by this worldʼs heavenly laws. How envious~”

”What do you mean?” asked Ye Yuyan.

System Wuya(Crow) felt his host was not up to anything good again and tried to stop him as usual.

[Oi! Stop it. Donʼt joke around at a time like this!!]

Lin Jiya smiled evilly and said, ”For example if I say I want to kill the protagonist gong of this world, Ye Yuyan. This happens~~”

After Lin Jiya finished talking, the sky above the condominium building had turned abruptly into black with surging thunder and a storm that appeared out of nowhere. Suddenly a thick bolt of lightning fell from the sky intending to destroy the whole condominium which Lin Jiya is in for breaking the laws of this world. This is his divine punishment.

GRUMBLES~ Grumble~ Crack!!

Ye Yuyan felt an impending danger he never felt before. Even Hei Yuhua panicked when he saw the scenery outside the window suddenly turning dark.

Hei Yuhua was stunned speechless while Lou Wei cursed out loud from the room next door and his shout can even be heard outside.

”WHAT THE FUCK!!!?”

”Run! We need to get out of the building!?” said Yun Jie though deep inside his heart he knew that it was already too late.

He grabbed Lou Weiʼs collar and ran out the door even forgetting his slippers. They stop when they see an unknown man and Ye Yuyan confronting each other. There is a weird yet cute black ball that looks like a crow on top of the strangerʼs head while a little moon is floating in front of Ye Yuyan.

System Yue and System Wuya were astonished by the scene of the approaching heavenly thunder as punishment to Lin Jiya.

[Ah! Youʼre crazy... Fuck! AʼYang! Heavenly Thunder Punishment! Heavenly Thunder Punishment!] screamed System Yue.

System Wuya was pecking Lin Jiyaʼs head with his beak, [You fucking lunatic?! Even though we no longer need to do missions the restrictions of the heavenly laws are still there!!! Ahhh!!!]

But Lin Jiya is not listening to any of their complaints as he was waiting for the God inside of Ye Yuyan to make his move. As expected, under the gaze of Lin Jiya, Ye Yuyanʼs original golden irises turned a deep crimson. It is more like a dull red with a blackish mixture and the fear on his face immediately fades into an indifferent and apathetic one.

It was Lord God Ye awakening in Ye Yuyanʼs body, ”Boring.”

He only snapped his fingers and a black shadow dragon appeared from the darkness and ate the whole tribulation thunder. In just a split second everything returned to normal.

ROAR!

The dark clouds, thunder, lightning, and the shadow dragon above the building all dispersed into nothingness. Everything seems like an illusion yet not at the same time.

System Yu delightfully called for his Lord God. [Milord!!!]

”Greetings to the Supreme Lord of Netherworld!” said Lin Jiya and System Wuya who immediately kowtowed in the presence of Ye Xiajie.

Ye Xiajie looked uninterested at Lin Jiya and said, ”If you failed to show your usefulness I will throw you to the last layer of Netherworld for offending this sovereign.”

Hearing this kind of life imprisonment punishment made both Lin Jiyaamd and his little crow system tremble in undeniable fear. This man in front of them is none other than the Lord of Nether Prison land, the Netherworld.

”W-W-We will do our best, Sovereign!” said Lin Jiya and his system. Especially his system which knew what kind of hell the last layer of Nether Prison has.

Ye Xiajie ignored them.

System Yue spoke, [My lord you are awake!]

”Um. Donʼt bother me until my wife wakes up,” said Ye Xiajie.

His voice and tone are colder than usual as his wife is not around. His eyes and face show no emotions and remain cold and aloof. As if he doesnʼt care for anything aside from his wife. Ye Xiajie only glanced at the shocked Hei Yuhua and noticed that his wife was not awake and decided to continue his meditation. He closed his eyes and returned the control of his body to Ye Yuyan.

Once the eyes once again opened the scarlet orbs from before were once again replaced with golden irises. Ye Yuyan took over the body once again.

The suffocating aura that comes from Ye Xiajie faded in the whole building. Yun Jie felt his legs soften in instinctive fright while Lou Wei could barely hold on as his legs were shaking so badly when Ye Xiajie took over.

Lou Wei murmured, ”W-Who... was... that?”

”M-Must be... the sleeping God... inside Brother Ye. Yes, the same as Lord Hei.” guessed Yun Jie.

”Thatʼs a God. Is he more unapproachable than Lord Hei?” said Lou Wei.

System Yue commented, [Donʼt think badly of Milord. He doesnʼt like almost everything, he would only change if Lord Hei is around.]

Lin Jiya commented, ”So the rumors about the God of Void being only affectionate towards the God of Destruction is real?”

System Wuya pulled his hostʼs hair using his beak as they really almost died just now. The rumors about the God of Void had been worse than that of the God of Destruction. Everyone says he is an apathetic man regardless if you are a human or a divine beast, the living or not.

[Control your mouth! We wouldnʼt know how we died if you keep speaking nonsense out of nowhere!] scolded System Wuya.

”Well~ I wonʼt speak nonsense anymore,” said Lin Jiya.

Only the bewildered Ye Yuyan who canʼt remember what happened after Ye Xiajie was overlooked anxiously and in incredulity.

Ye Yuyan asked, ”What happened? What are these new memories in my head?”

System Yue answered, [Lord Ye woke up and temporarily took over your body. It was too dangerous a few minutes ago. This building was almost destroyed by Divine punishment.]

”Divine Punishment?” mumbled Ye Yuyan as he looked in front of him only to not see Lin Jiya who looked so proud and confident a few minutes ago.

”Look down. Iʼm here. Hi~” said Lin Jiya while kneeling on the ground.

Ye Yuyan asked with a confused expression on his face, ”Why are you kneeling?”

”Because I was rude,” said Lin Jiya.

Ye Yuyan nodded and said, ”Okay. Continue kneeling inside the house. You are in the way.”

He then noticed Yun Jie on the floor as well as Lou Wei who was half kneeling due to the trembling of his legs.

Ye Yuyan spoke, ”Why are you two on the ground as well? Get inside the house!”

”Captain? You are captain right now, right?” asked Lou Wei.

Ye Yuyan looked at his subordinate weirdly, ”What are you talking about?”

”His eyes arenʼt red. Thatʼs Brother Ye alright,” said Yun Jie.

”Really?” asked Lou Wei. He could still feel the fright when Ye Xiajie woke up just now.

Yun Jie reached out his hands as he still couldnʼt feel his feet.

”Brother Wei, carry me inside. My legs are still numb.”

Lou Wei smiled and squatted down in front of his lower body facing his back on him. He allowed Yun Jie to jump on his back and carried him inside the condominium of his captain. Lin Jiya and his System Wuya stood up to follow inside.

Lin Jiya whispered to his system, ”Donʼt you think they are too calm about us?”

[If the calculations are right. They had been living with the two Gods for more than a year. The two Gods are both levels higher than you. One is a born Celestial God and the other is born a Supreme God. Why would they care about a High God like you?] reasoned System Wuya.

Lin Jiya said, ”You have a point there.”

[Okay. Stop being a moron and get inside.]

Only then do they follow them in and even close the door after them.
