The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 943: Chapter 963: Just Pretend You Never Met Me

”Then just pretend... you’ve never met me, can’t you?” Xia Xiaonuan said helplessly.

”It’s easy for you to say.” Situ Yan glared at her and said coldly.

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

”You don’t have to leave, I’ll go.” Situ Yan glanced at the pajamas in her hand, looked at her deeply, and said.

After speaking, he stood up and walked away.

Xia Xiaonuan’s hand holding the pajamas tightened slightly.

In the study.

Han Sun stood in front of the desk, looking at the cold and handsome man sitting in front of him.

Situ Yan was wearing a shirt, half open at the chest, with a touch of casualness and wildness, but his dark pupils remained as cold and gloomy as ever.

He held a cigarette, the smoke had already filled the entire study, and the air was full of choking smoke.

This man, held in high regard, revered like a god by everyone here.

No one ever dared to defy him, countless women yearned for his favor every day.

Yet... he had turned himself into what he was now because of the woman he brought back from China.

He might not be considered lost or decadent because his inherent composure never showed joy or anger, but Han Sun knew, that outward calm was just a facade.

In reality, he was probably on the verge of mental collapse.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have impulsively called Nangong Yaoling, using Xia Xiaonuan to provoke another man.

This was clearly a confrontation between two arrogant men; yet, because a woman was involved, it carried with it a touch of childishness and petty jealousy.

It was the first time Yandi had competed over a woman like this.

In the past, he never regarded any woman as worthy; to him, women were nothing but dirt beneath his feet, pawns on a chessboard, and clothes to be discarded.

Yet overnight, Xia Xiaonuan had become the one thing he couldn’t let go of.

He couldn’t touch her, hurt her, anger her, nor could he bear to part with her.

Han Sun sighed silently in his heart.

”Yandi... are you really planning to do this?” He observed Situ Yan’s expression, cautiously saying, ”Although by doing this, we might get rid of Nangong Yaoling... the powerful family system behind Nangong Yaoling poses a great threat to our Lot Empire...”

”I don’t care, even if it takes everything, just this once, I must kill Nangong Yaoling! And before killing him, I must make Xia Xiaonuan completely give up on him!” Situ Yan held the gold pen in his hand, rubbing it slowly with his thumb.

Only by eliminating Nangong Yaoling... could he completely have Xia Xiaonuan.

Before, he hadn’t thought of killing Nangong Yaoling so soon, but now... knowing Xiaonuan was carrying Nangong Yaoling’s child, knowing that her heart never held him but always that man.

He was nearly driven to the brink of collapse by jealousy.

He felt like a bomb that could explode at any moment, needing to vent to continue on.

Han Sun’s face slightly changed.

This kind of Yandi was really too irrational.

”Yandi... about this, I think you should discuss it with Mr. He and the others again... after all, this is no small operation, and regarding Miss Xia, it must be done flawlessly...”
