The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 932: Chapter 952: Pregnant Women Must Eat Whatever They Crave

Moreover, recently it’s been said that Yandi brought back a woman, so everyone is curiously looking at her.

Xia Xiaonuan smiled and said, ”I’m here to get some durian. Has it arrived?”

”Ah... You must be Miss Xia!” Housekeeper Li immediately showed a fawning smile.

”Yes.”

”Look at you, why did you come yourself? I was just about to send it to you! They say one durian is worth three chickens. Your body is perfect for eating this now.” Chef Li said with a smile, promptly instructing someone to get the fresh durian, peel it, and prepare it.

Xia Xiaonuan said, ”No worries, I couldn’t sleep, so I got up to move around a bit.”

A servant brought the peeled durian to Xia Xiaonuan. The air was filled with the durian’s pungent yet fragrant aroma. Xia Xiaonuan took a plate and said, ”Please send the rest later.”

”Yes, Miss Xia.”

Xia Xiaonuan turned around with a smile, eating as she walked outside.

After turning around, her pupils became complex and wary.

On the way back, the entire yard was empty.

Upon reaching the villa’s main entrance, before she could reach the door, a servant approached her with a look of surprise and said:

”Xia... Miss Xia? You’re back?”

”Yes, what’s wrong?”

”No... Nothing. Yandi... is inside...”

Xia Xiaonuan’s eyes flickered, and she nodded with a smile.

Meanwhile, outside the castle.

The driver preparing to leave in the food truck was suddenly stopped at the gate.

Old Mu, sitting in the car, was taken aback.

Soon, several bodyguards rushed forward, opened the car door, and started searching the vehicle.

”Uh... brothers... What’s going on here?”

Old Mu, sweating coldly, looked at the black-faced bodyguards and said.

”It’s none of your business, orders from above, just sit in the car.” said a leading bodyguard.

Old Mu finally sighed in relief.

The bodyguards searched the car, then looked at their leader and shook their heads.

”You can go now!”

After the car left, the bodyguard said, ”Call Lord Han, tell him we didn’t find anyone.”

”Yes!”

As soon as Xia Xiaonuan entered, she saw Situ Yan sitting on the sofa, sipping tea alone.

Situ Yan looked up at the sound, his gaze meeting hers.

Xia Xiaonuan hurriedly approached in surprise and said, ”You’re back? The durian here is really delicious! Do you want to try some?”

Situ Yan stared at her for a few seconds.

He reached out and said, ”Sure, let me try some.”

Xia Xiaonuan stepped forward and handed the plate to him.

Situ Yan reached out, but instead of taking the durian, he grabbed her wrist with a slight pull.

Xia Xiaonuan cried out in shock, falling onto Situ Yan.

”What are you doing!” The plate in her hand fell to the floor. The nearby servant quickly stepped back.

Situ Yan lowered his head, sniffing her scent, slightly frowning, and chuckled by her ear, ”Running out early in the morning, so eager to eat that stinky thing?”

Xia Xiaonuan struggled as she said, ”Don’t you know that when a pregnant woman craves something, she just has to eat it? If she can’t have it immediately, she can’t even sleep!”

”Oh, really?” Situ Yan lowered his head, gazing at her deeply as if trying to see through her.

Xia Xiaonuan felt a bit nervous under his gaze but deliberately said curiously, ”Aren’t you very busy? Why so leisurely today?”

”Didn’t I just miss you?” Situ Yan said, sniffing her scent.
