The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 923: Chapter 943: Preparing to Escape Plan 2

It looks just like a place where a country’s president would live.

”No...” the servant laughed, ”There is also a back door here, but usually there are guards. We can only go out once a month, and if we need to go out, we must get Housekeeper He’er’s permission.

Xia Xiaonuan nodded.

She said to the servant, ”You don’t need to follow me, I want to walk around by myself.”

”That’s not possible.” The blonde servant shook his head nervously, ”Yandi instructed that since you are pregnant, we must stay by your side at all times. If anything happens to you, having ten heads wouldn’t be enough for us to lose.”

”Yes, yes,” the other servants quickly agreed.

Xia Xiaonuan reached out and touched the tip of her nose.

”Alright, let’s head back together, it’s really too hot outside.”

”Okay, Miss Xia.” The servants were overjoyed.

After all, no one wanted to come out and bask in the sun at noon.

Xia Xiaonuan’s gaze turned toward a passage in the corner.

”Is that the way to the back?”

”No...” the servant explained, ”That way leads to the West Hall, where Princess Terasa lives.”

”Princess Terasa? Is she the very beautiful blonde girl who came the other day?”

”Yes.”

”She... what’s her relationship with Situ Yan?” Xia Xiaonuan asked with curiosity. She wondered if that woman could be of any help in her escape from here.

”She...”

”Ahem...” suddenly, a dry cough was heard not far away.

At this moment, a man in black stepped forward and said, ”Miss Xia, it’s too hot outside at noon, you should go back and rest early. Otherwise, Yandi will be unhappy when he returns.”

”Mr. Han...” Several servants quickly stepped forward to greet him.

Han Sun nodded.

Xia Xiaonuan glanced at Han Sun, whose expression was cold, with an iron-willed demeanor.

She clenched her fist; it seemed Situ Yan didn’t fully trust her. Now that she was just asking the servants about things here, the other side was already this vigilant.

It’s fine, she couldn’t be in a hurry anyway.

Xia Xiaonuan smiled, ”I’m feeling tired too, just about to head back.”

**********

In the vast luxurious hall.

Situ Yan sat on a long bench in the corner, looking at the bleeding blonde, blue-eyed man kneeling in front of him.

”Luo’er, was it you who arranged for people to assassinate me at the airport?”

”Situ Yan, you bastard! You killed my father! What right do you have to sit in this position? I’m telling you! Even if I die, I will never forgive you!”

”I killed your father?” Situ Yan looked at Luo’er, the corners of his mouth curling up with a smile, ”Do you hate me because I killed your father, or because I got ahead and took this position as the leader of the Lot Empire, and you hate me for that?”

”You...!”

”Don’t think I don’t know about your act of patricide and usurping the throne, Luo’er. Do you know? If you hadn’t done that, the person sitting in this position might have been you...”

”What do you mean? Cough...” Luo’er’s pupils widened, questioning suspiciously, while blood spilled from his mouth.

”I don’t mind telling you, actually... Godfather originally intended for you to take this position; he never planned to pass it on to me. It was you... who committed patricide and usurping, breaking his heart. That’s why he let me take over everything here!”

”What are you saying? Impossible...” Luo’er exclaimed excitedly.
