The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 563: Chapter 565: Nangong Yaoling Accepts Family Discipline

Nangong Yaoling glanced at Qin Yi and said coldly, ”If you have something to say, just say it, don’t hold it in...”

Qin Yi chuckled and quickly said, ”Young Master, about you and the young mistress, the old man might not know yet. Why don’t you cover it up and say it was just the journalists making things up...”

”Cover up my ass!” The usually elegant Nangong Yaoling cursed in anger, ”Feihong, that brat, has already told Grandpa everything!”

”What—?” Qin Yi’s face turned completely dark.

...

Xia Xiaonuan was lying in bed, about to sleep, when her phone rang.

”Hello...”

”Young mistress... It’s Qin Yi...”

She was slightly stunned, then quickly said, ”I’m not the young mistress anymore. Don’t call me that.”’

Qin Yi acknowledged with a sound and said with a smile, ”Miss Xia... Could you come out? I’m downstairs at your friend’s place.”

”Huh?” Xia Xiaonuan was startled, quickly jumping out of bed, walking to the window, and pulling back the curtains. Sure enough, she saw a car parked downstairs, and Qin Yi was waving at her under the streetlamp.

”Did something happen?” Xia Xiaonuan asked curiously. Qi Yue, beside her, also couldn’t help getting up, sticking her head to the window to look.

”Young mistress, the old man is back and is throwing a tantrum at home... Can you come back to the old house?”

Xia Xiaonuan was thoroughly confused.

”Alright, wait a moment, I’ll come down and talk.”

Xia Xiaonuan changed her clothes.

Qi Yue asked, ”Why did he come? Did something happen to Nangong Yaoling?”

Xia Xiaonuan, putting on her down jacket, shook her head, ”I don’t know either. They said his grandpa is back. I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ll go check it out.”

”Okay, you better hurry then.” Qi Yue helped straighten her collar.

Xia Xiaonuan went downstairs, and Qin Yi hurriedly opened the car door for her.

She hesitated for a moment, looking at the complicated expression on Qin Yi’s face, but still got into the car.

”What’s going on exactly? Nangong Yaoling’s grandpa is back, why are you looking for me?” Xia Xiaonuan asked, puzzled, while sitting in the car.

”It’s a long story.” Qin Yi said, ”The old man just found out about your divorce and he’s extremely angry. Young mistress, the old man used to be very fond of you. Regardless, you were his granddaughter-in-law once. He’s back in the country today, can you go see him?”

Xia Xiaonuan felt a bit troubled, ”But... in this situation now, is it okay for me to go?”

”It’s alright! As long as you go, the old man will be happy.”

”Alright then...” Xia Xiaonuan nodded, ”Take me to the supermarket first, I want to buy something.”

”Got it!” Qin Yi said with a smile.

The car slowly drove into the old residence.

Xia Xiaonuan got out of the car, and Qin Yi carried several gift boxes.

As soon as Xia Xiaonuan entered the door, she heard a loud ”smack.”

She was startled, looking around, only to see Nangong Yaoling kneeling in the living room. The old man was holding a whip and hitting him with it!

Xia Xiaonuan was completely shocked.

Especially seeing Nangong Yaoling kneeling there motionlessly, where was the domineering manner he always had when he ”bullied” her?

”I ask you, are you going to get Xiaonuan back or not? If you don’t bring Xiaonuan back to me, I’ll beat your ass to a pulp today!”

”I won’t go! Grandpa, even if you beat me to death, I won’t go!” Nangong Yaoling, for some reason, suddenly got stubborn, raising his alluring handsome face and saying defiantly to the old man.

The old man, furious, raised the whip again to strike.
