The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 478: Chapter 480: The Deepest Love, The Best You 2

He drew a boy and a girl on the back of her hand. The boy was holding the girl’s hand and running under the sun. Nan Mo said, ”Qiqi, don’t draw it on the palm because it will easily fade away once you sweat. If you draw it on the back of your hand, it will last for several days.”

She stubbornly replied, ”No, I want to draw it on your palm. This way, Qiqi will always be the treasure in Nan Mo’s palm. Even if it gets rubbed off, whenever you look at your palm, you must remember Qiqi.”

Nan Mo found it both amusing and exasperating, but he held her hand and said, ”Okay, okay, then I’ll also draw on Qiqi’s palm. This way, whenever Qiqi looks at her palm, she must remember me too!”

No, the palm will fade away in a few days. You better draw it on the back of your hand!

Qiqi, you’re so naughty~

Hehe, yes, I am naughty. What are you going to do about it?

Nan Mo smiled and patted her head.

Xia Xiaonuan thought of this and couldn’t help but laugh.

”Nan Mo... Do you still remember our promise? Every time you open your palm, you will think of Qiqi...”

”There were many children in the orphanage, and the teachers couldn’t keep an eye on everyone. I remember once I got sick and had a high fever, feeling like I was about to die. When I woke up in the morning, the other children looked at me and were scared stiff.

You rushed in at that time, picked me up without saying a word, and ran to the hospital. No matter who called you, you wouldn’t respond, like you were crazy. Later, I was diagnosed with acute pneumonia from the fever. Just a little delay, and I would have died.

When I came out of surgery at the hospital, you hugged me and cried non-stop. You said, ’Qiqi, it’s all my fault. Last night, I was just playing basketball and didn’t come to see you...’ You blamed yourself terribly.

At that time, I touched the tears on your face but smiled.

I never thought Nan Mo would cry for me because I felt incredibly happy.”

Xia Xiaonuan held Liang Shaochen’s hand, murmuring to him.

Not noticing that his other hand’s fingers were slightly moving.

”Nan Mo... Maybe I can only say these words when you are unconscious. Because I know, if I tell you normally, you’d be startled and might even think I’m crazy.

You know, over the years, I’ve thought about you almost every day.

When I’m happy, when I’m sad, when I feel like I can’t hold on anymore.

Every time I think of you, I am filled with strength, feeling like life isn’t that hard after all.

When you were in the orphanage, I never felt like an orphan. I even felt fortunate that I was abandoned by my parents, giving me the opportunity to meet Nan Mo.

Because, you see, even some children who are with their parents still have to endure their parents fighting every day and are not happy either.

And Qiqi, as long as she has Nan Mo, no matter how tough life is, it doesn’t feel difficult.

It’s just... I didn’t expect you to leave me suddenly too.

These years, I’ve been waiting, yearning, finally growing up and having the ability to find you. Because the orphanage director told me that your parents took you abroad. To Europe.

I wasn’t even sure I’d find you after going, but it felt like a dream, and I resolutely boarded the plane.

Unexpectedly, the plane had an accident.

Hundreds of people on the plane just disappeared like that, without even any debris.

I thought I would die too... but I didn’t expect it, I actually survived.

However, when I woke up, I had become Xia Xiaonuan...”

Liang Shaochen’s brows moved slightly, the fingers of the hand by his side slowly tightening.
