The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 459: Chapter 461 I’ll Teach Him a Lesson for You

At this moment, Nangong Zhongli’s voice drew nearer.

”Qin Yi! Are you a man or not? Stop hiding and come out!”

The maid, following Nangong Zhongli, called out: ”Miss Zhong Li, please calm down...”

”Bang—!” A gunshot rang out, and Xia Xiaonuan trembled all over.

Qin Yi couldn’t help but swallow.

”Get down, or I’ll deal with you too!” Nangong Zhongli shouted angrily.

The maid shivered and said: ”I understand... Miss Zhong Li... I, I, I... I’ll leave now...”

”Hide well, I’ll go out and check!” Xia Xiaonuan pressed Qin Yi under the bed while patting her chest. Damn it, the people from the Nangong Family are like lunatics when they get angry... They are so capricious that you can’t afford to provoke them!

Her heart pounded fiercely, but she braved herself and walked out.

”Zhong Li...” Xia Xiaonuan called out as she stepped outside.

Just after stepping through the door, she saw Nangong Zhongli pointing a gun at her.

She screamed in terror and quickly dodged: ”It’s me! Zhong Li...”

Nangong Zhongli’s expression slightly changed, lowering the gun: ”Xiaonuan? Where is that bastard Qin Yi?”

Xia Xiaonuan, with her heart pounding, stepped forward hurriedly: ”Zhong Li, what’s going on, why make such a big fuss?”

Nangong Zhongli, speaking of the matter, turned red with fury, clenching her teeth.

”Qin Yi... he...” she started hatefully, remembering last night’s events. She had preserved her virginity for Liang Shaochen for so many years, only for a bastard like Qin Yi to ruin it!

How could she not be furious!

But such a matter was hard to speak of, so she looked at Xia Xiaonuan: ”Don’t meddle in this! Today I must kill him!”

Nangong Zhongli said, shoving Xia Xiaonuan aside, ready to walk inside.

”Zhong Li, Mr. Qin isn’t inside!”

”Not inside?” Nangong Zhongli frowned beautifully: ”Didn’t Yun say he just went upstairs?”

Xia Xiaonuan bit her lip, why was Yun’s mouth so quick?

”He... He did come up, but left shortly after... maybe he’s gone to the company?”

Nangong Zhongli looked at her with distrust: ”Xiaonuan, you’re not covering for him, are you? I’ve always considered you a friend, don’t deceive me!”

Xia Xiaonuan laughed: ”How could I, Zhong Li?”

Nangong Zhongli gritted her teeth: ”No, I have to check!” Nangong Zhongli said, pushing past Xia Xiaonuan, heading inside.

She checked every room, bedroom, bathroom, not missing any cabinets or under the bed!

Xia Xiaonuan watched her holding the handgun, cold sweat forming on her forehead; when they reached the study, her heart was in her throat.

Quickly grabbing her: ”Zhong Li... I told you he’s not here, why don’t you believe me? What happened, tell me, I’ll help you teach him a lesson...”

Nangong Zhongli glanced at Xia Xiaonuan complexly, then kicked open the study door.

Xia Xiaonuan: ...

She held the gun, aimed at the entire study.

Searched the bookshelf, then the curtains, then walked to the bed.

Looking at the bed, her pupils slowly contracted.

Grinding her teeth, suddenly, aiming at the center of the mattress, she pulled the trigger.

”Bang—!” A shot echoed.

Xia Xiaonuan clutched her chest, staggering back, her legs almost giving way in fear.

Holding onto the bookshelf, she didn’t dare to open her eyes.

Thinking of Qin Yi under the bed, her heart almost rose to her throat.

However... aside from the gunshot, the room was silent.
