The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

When Cui Shiniang came out of the Song Minister’s Mansion, a faint smile lingered on her lips, revealing dimples on both sides, which made her appear softer.

Once inside the carriage, her maid Song Mo glanced at her and said with a smile, ”Miss seems very happy today.”

”Hmm.” Cui Shiniang casually took a book from the side and replied with a cheerful smile, ”Coming to Shangjing was the right choice.”

Song Mo was taken aback and tentatively asked, ”Hearing that, does Miss intend to stay?”

”I won’t leave. I’ve accepted the position of Mountain Master at Song Ci’s Charity School. I’ll devote my efforts to this charitable school. If it succeeds, I want to show those people that managing an academy isn’t something only men can do,” Cui Shiniang said proudly.

Song Mo looked at her expression and genuinely smiled, thinking as long as her master was happy, that was all that mattered.

At the Prime Minister’s Mansion, Chunhui Hall.

Song Ci was lying on the beauty couch taking a nap while the Nanny was talking about the charitable school.

”Once Cui Shiniang meets Steward Ping and the others, I can fully let go of this matter, just waiting for the school to open.”

The Nanny said, ”You say it so easily, but aren’t you also supposed to refine the school regulations with Cui Shiniang?”

”I’ve thought about everything I could think of, and the rest is for her to consider. By the time both sides have discussed, a complete set of school regulations can be worked out. That’s the easy part. It’s actually the trivial matters that are troublesome. You know, a charitable school has many problems, small and complex, and making it clear at a glance isn’t easy. After meeting Cui Shiniang today, she struck me as a modern academic ace with a good family background. Not only talented, but also capable, she’s definitely a management expert, yes, an all-around secretary.”

Indeed, Song Ci regarded Cui Shiniang as an all-around secretary, which is why she happily entrusted her with the Mountain Master position, while she herself acted as an honorary principal who only provides money and ideas.

The more Song Ci thought about it, the more delightful she felt, and soon she fell asleep with a smile.

The next day, Song Ci directly introduced Cui Shiniang to Steward Ping, stating that she was the Mountain Master of the charitable school, and all affairs would be handled by her, including restructuring, budgeting, accounts, etc.

Even Cui Shiniang felt somewhat surprised. Wasn’t this too much trust in her?

Song Ci, however, was all smiles: ”When employing someone, don’t doubt them. If you doubt them, don’t employ them. Since you are the Mountain Master, naturally you will manage everything. Once you’ve handled everything, future matters will be easier for you to grasp.”

Is that so?

It didn’t feel that simple, especially with the old lady’s smile, which seemed to be fooling a young girl.

”Also, you are the cousin of Prince Consort Cui, so even if you mess up this charitable school or embezzle funds, won’t I still be able to find someone? If not you, then naturally Prince Consort Cui, and if that fails, I’ll find the Cui family!” Song Ci said mischievously.

Cui Shiniang: ”...”

Suddenly, it felt like she boarded a pirate ship and couldn’t get off.

Nanny: You thought correctly, actually the old lady just wants to be a lazy boss who excels at leaving the work to others!

Afterwards, Song Ci indeed let it go, allowing Cui Shiniang to handle things freely. The latter, already driven by a spirit of competitiveness, quickly organized the charitable school. She even personally interviewed several teachers for various subjects, and when suitable candidates weren’t available, she used her connections to find them, successfully setting the school on the right track in no time.
