The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Princess Consort Ji suddenly exploded, startling everyone, including Xia Houzhe himself. The intense pain in his ear made him instinctively reach out, but before he could touch Princess Consort Ji, two people appeared out of nowhere and twisted his hands behind him.

Xia Houzhe wasn’t surprised. Even though he was here, enjoying good food and accommodations, he was still just a prisoner, closely watched both openly and secretly.

The two guards tried to pull Xia Houzhe away, but Princess Consort Ji used all her strength in that bite. This struggle nearly pulled her out of the soft sedan chair, almost causing her to fall.

Princess Min was frightened and quickly rushed forward to support Princess Consort Ji, advising, ”Consort, don’t do this, be careful not to hurt yourself.”

Princess Consort Ji pretended not to hear, continuing to bite the opponent’s ear with all her might, as if determined to bite it off. Such explosive strength from someone who had suffered a stroke only days ago and was still half-paralyzed was unbelievable for most people.

Even Princess Min was somewhat surprised. Just this morning, Princess Consort Ji was still lying in bed and needed help to move, yet now she could muster the strength to hold onto Xia Houzhe’s ear with her teeth. Such outburst could only be attributed to the heart of a mother in deep hatred.

Eventually, Princess Consort Ji had to let go, exhausted and unable to maintain her grip.

Xia Houzhe ended up with a part of his ear bitten off, the pain making his scalp tingle, his head dizzy. He couldn’t help but curse: ”You crazy old woman, are you a dog?”

This made things clearer—how could a true son curse his mother like that?

Princess Consort Ji, with a mouth full of blood, laughed eerily and spat, spraying bits of ear mixed with blood foam onto Xia Houzhe’s face before it fell to the ground.

She glared at Xia Houzhe, laughing, while tears welled up in her eyes.

She regretted, she hated, hated the Xia clan, and hated herself for being blind, mistaking a traitor for a son.

Seeing this, Xia Houzhe sneered, ”Even if you bite me to death, you won’t save Chu Ze. If I die, he won’t live past thirty; he’ll accompany me in death.”

Upon hearing this, Princess Consort Ji felt a surge of sweetness in her throat, unable to bear the shock any longer, and fainted with her eyes rolling back.

Inside the Glazed Palace, chaos ensued.

The events here were relayed to the Cining Palace, leaving Empress Dowager Wang and Song Ci extremely surprised.

Song Ci sighed, ”Her teeth are still work well.”

Empress Dowager Wang: ”...”

She reproachfully spat at Song Ci and asked Eunuch Hai, ”Wasn’t she supposed to be half-paralyzed? How could she still have the strength to bite off that person’s ear?”

Eunuch Hai replied, ”It’s because the criminal Xia was off guard and got too close to the Dowager, giving her the chance.”

Not got the hand, but got the mouth.

”She fainted again, what did the Imperial Physician say?”

”The Imperial Physician suggests she should rest quietly in the palace and not be moved, fearing another stroke. Your Ladyship, what do you think?”

Empress Dowager Wang was silent for a moment, then said, ”Issue my decree, allow her to recuperate quietly in the palace. Let the Empress arrange for a quiet and sunny palace room.”

Eunuch Hai acknowledged this.

At this moment, a young eunuch entered, bowing, saying Princess Consort Ji had woken up and went to Yangxin Hall to seek an audience with the Emperor.

Empress Dowager Wang’s face turned green: ”Since her body isn’t in good condition, why is she still going to see the Emperor?”

The young eunuch replied, ”The Dowager knelt before the Emperor, requesting the execution of the criminal Xia, to announce to the world and restore Prince Min’s innocence and rightful position.”

Empress Dowager Wang: ”???”

Is Princess Consort Ji really stupid or pretending to be mad to still think of this solution?
