Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Actually, she really could walk, so why was he still holding her so domineeringly?

”I’ll carry you there. That way, you won’t walk too slowly and get left behind.” He said as he held her and walked out of the wooden cabin, down the stone steps, heading toward the seaside.

The bright light cast on them, making everything feel dreamlike.

With her in his arms, as the sea waves rushed at them, Beitang Yao mischievously stooped down, using her body to shield the incoming water. But to his surprise, as she saw the waves approaching, she suddenly dove into his embrace, causing the seawater to drench both of their clothes.

”Young Master! You!” She growled in frustration. She really couldn’t believe Beitang Yao had such a mean-spirited side!

”Was it fun?” Beitang Yao chuckled lightly, ”Did you feel the sea’s tears?”

”Not fun! Not fun at all!” She kicked her legs. Now her whole body was drenched in seawater, making her unbearably uncomfortable!

”Then what do you find fun? I’ll play with you!” He carried her and charged forward more, until the next wave rolled in. He placed her on the wave: ”How about this? Is this fun?”

”Wah! You’re such a bully! Water got in my ear!” She said, coughing a few more times, and accidentally swallowed some seawater too.

”Are you okay?” He looked at her as she coughed until her face turned red, and he couldn’t help feeling worried. At this point, he stopped teasing her.

”I have ear ringing; I can’t hear anything...” One of her ears was buzzing, feeling hot inside, and she really wanted to reach in and get the seawater out...

The feeling of water in the ear was really uncomfortable! And it was all thanks to him!

She really shouldn’t have provoked this Demon; the one suffering in the end is her.

”Then don’t move.” He said, then positioned her sideways, shaking her gently, and instructed, ”Cover your ear tightly with your hand. When I move, you release your hand, and repeat. Got it?”

”Okay!” Xia Qingqian nodded and followed his instructions, feeling securely held, with no chance of falling.

After repeating the movements several times, a stream of warm seawater flowed out from her ear canal. She finally relaxed and said, ”It’s okay now, the seawater is out!”

Upon hearing this, Beitang Yao also breathed a sigh of relief and finally put her down, ”Qian Qian, I didn’t expect the seawater to get into your ear...”

”It’s alright, I’m fine now, the seawater is out.” She said with a smile. Seeing his apologetic look, she forgot the unpleasantness from earlier. After all, Young Master Yao hardly ever apologizes.

”Are you really okay now?” He still asked with some worry.

”Aren’t I hearing you talk now? I’m really okay; the water’s out, so it’s all good!” She suddenly laughed and asked, ”Young Master, how did you know shaking would get the water out of my ear?”

”That’s common sense, okay! Don’t think of others as being as ignorant as you!” He pursed his lips and knocked her on the forehead!

”Ouch!” She held her forehead. This nasty man really didn’t know how to treat her gently...

”If you know it hurts, then stop making wild guesses. I really can’t stand you, little woman!” Beitang Yao put his hands in his pockets, glancing at her with a cold demeanor, as if he were looking at a dangerous object.
