Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

From now on, she will live here, and he wants everyone to know not to arrange any more matchmaking or introduce women to him!

The only woman for him is Xia Qingqian.

Xia Qingqian ate four cookies in a row, but she was very thirsty, so she put down the box, walked up to Beitang Yao, bit her lip, and said, ”Young Master Yao, I want some water, I’m very thirsty.”

As she lowered her head, she saw half a cup of coffee on the table. Before he could finish speaking, she picked it up and drank it.

Drinking it was a mistake—she found it really bitter and astringent!

The coffee stuck in her throat—neither going up nor down. Her face turned even darker than the black coffee itself!

”Didn’t I just say not to drink it? See what happened now!” Beitang Yao looked at her with exasperation, put down the document in his hand, and called for the servant standing outside the door to bring in a glass of milk, ”This is black coffee, and it’s cold, of course, it tastes terrible!”

”Ugh, so bitter!” Xia Qingqian stuck out her tongue, constantly swallowing, hoping to down that bitter taste.

”Let me help you.” Beitang Yao said mischievously, then cupped Xia Qingqian’s face, leaned down, and softly, attentively kissed her tender lips, capturing them as she was momentarily stunned.

Xia Qingqian’s eyes widened, staring at him in shock. Was this his way of helping her? Why was he kissing her...

Moreover, she didn’t know why, but before, when he kissed other women, they would both rinse their mouths and ensure fresh breath before he’d consider kissing.

The servant outside the door had been standing for a full ten minutes!

When Beitang Yao felt it was enough, he released her, gave a mischievous smile, and asked, ”Still bitter?”

Xia Qingqian’s face was flushed with shame, feeling a bit dizzy from his kiss.

”Uh...” She hesitated in her response, unsure if she was replying to his words or reacting to the passionate kiss earlier.

It wasn’t until the servant knocked on the door again that Beitang Yao withdrew his heated gaze from her, allowing the servant to place water and porridge prepared by the kitchen on the table.

”Young Master, is there anything else you need?” The servant asked respectfully, inadvertently stealing a glance at Xia Qingqian, whose face was still rosy.

This girl really is captivating. The Young Master must cherish her, right?

But she had also heard rumors that this girl was bought by Young Master from a nightclub. Yet, Young Master’s attitude towards her was exceptionally good, even better than towards his family. There was no sign of that kind of relationship between them.

Moreover, Young Master is a man of propriety and would never bring a woman from a nightclub home. What did the current situation imply?

”There’s nothing more for you here, you may leave.” Beitang Yao waved his hand, signaling the two servants standing aside to exit.

This was his room; now it was his and her private space. If it weren’t for seeing her push away because of the servants outside, he wouldn’t have let her go so easily.

The servants, understanding his intent, placed the tray in front of them and left.
