Lin Tian looked at Liiu Nai’er as she ran off, his face a blank slate of confusion.

What did she need that big?

Furrowing his brow in thought without getting anywhere, Lin Tian saw his father, whose legs had just started to regain walking strength, sitting under the small banyan tree at the front door enjoying the cool shade.

He turned and headed toward Mrs.

Liiu’s house.

He wanted to see just what kind of help Liiu Nai’er was seeking.

Help with something, huh?

What could be so hard to say!

Liiu Nai’er’s house was right next to Lin Tian’s, just a few steps away.

The door wasn’t locked, merely left ajar.

As a child, Lin Tian used to come here often to play, so he pushed open the door with ease and stepped toward Liiu Nai’er’s boudoir.

As soon as he stepped in, he could smell a faint fragrance.

At that moment.

Liiu Nai’er sat on the edge of her bed looking quite nervous.

Hearing the sound, she looked up to see Lin Tian entering and let out a soft gasp.

She quickly got up and shut the door to her room.

“Little Fatty, what do you need my help with?

You’re being so mysterious!” Lin Tian frowned and turned to ask as he saw her close the door.

Back when they were kids, he often visited this room, and they even played hide-and-seek here, so he didn’t see anything taboo about it.

Hearing this, Liiu Nai’er opened her mouth hesitantly and said, “Brother…

dumb-dumb…”

“Hey hey…

stop right there!

Call me Brother Tian.

Your Brother Lin Tian is no fool!

Have you ever seen such a capable fool?”

Lin Tian quickly interrupted her and said seriously.

“Alright, Brother Lin Tian, can you please help me with something?

Promise you’ll help first, then I’ll tell you what it is!” Liiu Nai’er lifted her little face and blinked her beautiful eyes, speaking earnestly.

Lin Tian sized up the young girl, wondering what she was up to, but ultimately agreed, “Alright, I’ll help with anything I can do.”

“Really!” Liiu Nai’er’s face lit up with joy.

Then she turned around, hemmed and hawed for quite a while, before finally whispering softly, “I…

I want one like Sister Tang Ge has, Brother Lin Tian.

Can you do that?”

“The same size?”

Lin Tian’s eyes widened, and he said with a wry smile, “You think I’m omnipotent?

You’re still growing up.

In a few years, you’ll naturally be as big as Tang Ge.

Age isn’t something you can just stretch out!”

“Ah, Brother Lin Tian, I’m not talking about age!” Liiu Nai’er stamped her feet in frustration and said urgently, “It’s that…!”

Lin Tian was momentarily stunned but quickly figured out what kind of help Liiu Nai’er needed.

After a moment, he tried to explain with a wry smile, “Little Fatty, you’re only fifteen or sixteen.

You’re still growing; there’s no need to rush!

You really don’t need my help with this…”

“But…

but…

everyone says I have no chest, no brains!”

Liiu Nai’er was getting anxious, then she said earnestly, “Brother Lin Tian, you must help me!

Your medical skills are so great; you can definitely do it!”

“You girl!

Don’t listen to what those people say!

Once you grow up, you’ll surely be a great beauty, and they’ll be green with envy!”

Lin Tian, helpless, could only speak again, patiently explaining, “You’re grown up now, and there has to be distance between us…

If your mother finds out, she’ll scold me to death!”

“Hmph!

Brother Lin Tian, you’re obviously making excuses!”

Liiu Nai’er pouted in dissatisfaction and said, “If you won’t help, I’ll go straight to my mom and then tell Aunt Liu that you’re bullying me!”

Pff~~

Hearing the young girl’s threat, Lin Tian felt like he was about to cough up blood in frustration.

If she really did go tattle, Lin Tian would be left with no way to clear his name, not even if he jumped into the Yellow River.

Setting aside whether his parents would be angry over this, Mrs.

Liiu, Aunt Liiu, would certainly be heartbroken.

Having bullied someone else’s daughter, he, a grown man, would surely be despised by the entire village.

Thud~~

But just then, a figure pushed open the door from outside the room and stepped in, shouting as they entered, “Little Nai’er, are you napping?

Get up…”

However.

Before the figure could finish speaking, they looked up at the scene on the bed, their mouth hanging open in shock.
