The First Store System

Chapter 1591: The Last Three Participants(2)

Peopleʼs eyes were directed at the three participants as anyone could be the assistant.

The difficulty of the battle had grown exponentially after the third invasion, so people had doubts about whether any of the three would defend the sixth invasion.

The last three participants fighting for that prestigious assistant post were Ransh, Mariam, and Tira.

Ransh was the kid who was one of the luckier ones to get a gift from Aakesh. He had even knelt before Aakesh, asking to be his student. He was bluntly refused, but he took that refusal as his aim.

For the past more than a thousand years, he had been working hard. If not for him suppressing his cultivation, he would have the highest cultivation level in his race. Mariam and Tira were regulars in the store.

Time flew by, and results arrived for the three. Unfortunately, neither of the three succeeded in defending, causing a tiebreaker for the first place.

Aakesh had already informed the participants of the situation in conditions like that. As soon as Mariam failed to defend, Tira and Ransh disappeared from the platform and appeared back in their worlds.

The ranking of the world was the same for every participant, so if the three of them had defended the invasion, their world would have been upgraded to the seventh-ranked world.

But now, despite losing the war, the three found their world had been upgraded to the first rank, the stronger tier of worlds in the contestʼs universe. At the same time, there was a long memory of how they successfully thwarted one invasion after another and finally reached that level.

As for their memory from the reality, it wasnʼt there. Tira was someone who had lived for billions of years and had heard of so many things that Ransh and Mariam would be no match for her if they competed using their knowledge.

In addition to that, there was also the memory of other worlds. There were only three first-ranked worlds in the universe, and they belonged to Ransh, Mariam, and Tira, respectively.

All three had different world power systems. The one ruled by Ransh followed the biological system, the one by Tira was energy cultivation, while the one which Mariam was ruling was magic-based.

But one thing was certain, all three worlds had the same level of power, with each world having only one First ranked warrior; they were Ransh, Mariam, and Tira.

There were no sub-levels for that rank, and it was the ceiling for the power in the universe. One world could only hold one warrior of that rank.

The world ruled by Ransh followed a biological system of power where warriors replaced their organs with other creatures, boosting their power.

For every rank, a being could hold the organ of a new beast, so Ransh had done that nine times, making him own nine types of power. Enjoy more content from .com

One of the powers controlled by Ransh was the reproductive organ of Fertisin, a creature with one of the highest fertility rates in the Sacred Dimension.

Ransh chose that organ because the Fertisins could control their bloodline, and Ransh liked that. Due to that, he had more than ten thousand children who he could use as his most loyal puppets anytime he wanted.

To further boost that power, Ransh chose to transplant his heart with the heart of Cenristru. It allowed Ransh to recover using the blood of his children, making him unkillable unless someone had the power to pulverize him to nothingness in a single strike.

These were the powers Ransh chose in his memory since he chose the Fertisin one when he was fifth level, while the heart was done when he was the fourth-ranked warrior.

The system chose the best possible power for the contestants, leaving them with no weaknesses.

That might seem good for the participant, but that became a nightmare when the enemy had the same capabilities.

If Ransh had an outrageous recovery rate, overwhelming strength, and unbreakable defense, Tira and Mariam also had the same capabilities.

The contest was to defend against a world with the help of the world, so the three participants needed to use their worlds well. If any of them thought that they could influence the outcome with their capabilities, they were delusional.

Fortunately, neither of the three felt so overconfident and immediately began working on their worlds.

There were three participants, and the contest couldnʼt become two-on-one to force the strong participant out, and the worlds would teleport to the set battlefield. It was going to be a round-robin war with each world facing the other.

There were three opponents, and two worlds would fight at once, while during that time, the third world would be in a time freeze. Not getting selected didnʼt mean that there would be extra time for preparation.

The battlefield would be a special area where anyone who died in the war would be immediately resurrected after the winner was found. It would make the world ready for another war right away.

In the end, the one with the highest number of victories after facing the same number of wars would become the winner and get the position of the storeʼs assistant.

The remaining two would then be ranked second and third depending on their number of victories.

There could also be a situation where all three worlds win an equal number of battles, and in that situation, the round-robin would continue until there would be a clear winner.

There wouldnʼt be any drawing between the two worlds as war would continue till the last surviving being.

Every participant was given a preparation time of one thousand years before they would be teleported to the battlefield. Even though neither of the three had any idea of what was at stake in that contest, they had a strong intuition that it was something that they desperately needed and could change their fates.

One thousand years might seem like a good amount of time to improve world power, but for the people in the first-ranked world, it was nothing.

The average level of power in the first-ranked worlds was fourth rank warrior, and even the worst fourth-ranked warrior had a lifespan of a million years. At the same time, fourth rank was going to be just a bunch of cannon fodder in the war, so third-ranked and second-ranked warriors were the most important combatants to change the tide of the war, and they couldnʼt have much improvement when it came to their personal power. It was too short a time for them, who could easily live for tens of millions of years.

In Tiraʼs world,

Tira was surveying the preparation for the war that was to come three days later.

She felt there were still things she could have done, but now that the time to do things was over, she needed to be content with it.

She now needed to use whatever had been done to win the war, no matter who her opponent turned out to be.

”How confident are we?” Tira asked. Her face was covered in a mask like others in the room.

The people of her world liked to hide their faces, so wearing masks was extremely common.

”Teacher, we have complete confidence in destroying Master Mariamʼs world,” The masked man in charge of preparing for the war with Mariam respectfully responded.

Tiraʼs world had a society of sects, so everyone in the room was Tiraʼs students.

Tira nodded and then looked at Shunfa. Shunfa was her eldest student, and she set him in charge of preparation for the war with Ransh.

Tira couldnʼt help but frown as she could see through Shunfaʼs masks, and his expression didnʼt look good.

”Do you have something to tell me?”

”Master, we are fully capable of defeating Master Ransh and his world, but there is one unsettling thing about them that might help them turn the tide,” Shunfa decided to honestly share what he thought.

He wasnʼt worried about his teacher getting angry. Since the day he had met Tira, she had been of a gentle character, and he became her student when she was just a ninth-ranked warrior.

Numerous years had passed since then, but his teacherʼs gentle character hadnʼt changed at all.

”If we could trade with Master Mariam, our chances of countering that thing would grow significantly,” Another student sighed.

There have been some contacts between the three worlds, but for the past thousand years, the connections have been completely cut off.

If not for that, the war might have become easier, or it would have grown outrageously difficult since Mariamʼs world had an item to counter Ranshʼs world; Ransh could counter Tira, while Tira could counter Mariam.

”Letʼs not worry about things outside of our control. We have three days to ponder, and if we still canʼt find a way, then we can only fight, leaving the result to fate.”

Three days passed in the blink of an eye, and the time for the battle between the three worlds to find the winner began.
