Chapter 1585: Shocking the Crowd(2)

After reaffirming the winnerʼs reward, Aakesh continued.

”The second place will win a territory with an area of 10,000 square miles in Panagea with Emperor level resources.”

”The third place will also win a territory, but it will only be 4,000 square miles, and the highest level of resource will be King level.”

”The fourth place will win a territory with an area of 1,000 square miles in Panagea with Higher level resources.”

Panagea already had its own grade of items, but since many hadnʼt been to Panagea before due to different reasons, they had no idea about the ranks, so Aakesh talked about it in terms of the Sacred Dimension. Any item in the Sacred Dimension was between Level 251 and 500, which was considered Mythical. Emperor level resources were between levels 351 and 400; King level was between levels 301 and 350; and Higher level materials were between levels 280 and 300.

”The fifth place participant will get a free update of their beast card to the last level and a one thousand race pack.”

”The sixth place will get a free update of their beast card to the last level.”

”The seventh place will get a one thousand race pack.”

”The eighth place will get 3000 extra Panagea hours.”

”The ninth place will get 1000 extra Panagea hours.”

”The tenth place will get 100 extra Panagea hours.”

Aakesh announced the reward list for all ten winners, shocking the participants and the sitting crowd.

Territory in Panagea wasnʼt new to the customers, as many contests over the past years had a reward like that, but this year, it was certain to be with Emperor level resources on the top of a 10,000 square miles area. At the same time, the store owner didnʼt talk about a time limit for owning the territory.

When the people thought that territory would be permanent, they couldnʼt help but exclaim in shock. If not for Aakesh, they would have jumped jubilantly already.

Many felt that the permanent territory was more valuable than the resources that came with it.

The rewards for the fifth and below ranks were also valuable, but compared to the top four, it was still lacking. If it were a reward without those, it would still be a shocking prize.

The card upgrade grew ten times with every level, and it would save the winner couples of ultimate Sacred stones. For the influential races, it wasnʼt much, but for the majority, it was an unbelievable reward.

After letting the participant and the crowd get on with the reward list, Aakesh announced the format of the contest.

Every contestant would be teleported to a random virtual world on the verge of death. The participants would be the leaders of their respective worlds, and they must save the world from invasions.

The participant with the highest number of invasions thwarted before death would be declared the winner.

In the case of more than one participant having the same result, the participants would replace the invaders and defenders randomly. Whoever won that would be declared the winner of the two. It would keep happening until the store would have its ten winners and their ranks.

Since there was already a reward, participants wouldnʼt be able to bring out their gains from the competition.

”Okay, enter the portal,” Aakesh announced. The next moment, the space on the platform cracked, and an endless portal appeared on the platform. Just from looking at it, many felt their souls being crushed. Fortunately for them, it was their illusion, and the system was controlling the intensity of the portal.

The participants took deep breaths and entered the portal one after another. If it were done sequentially, just the entry time would be humungous, so millions of people entered at once.

When the last participant had entered, a number appeared in Aakeshʼs mind. It was the system informing him about it.

The number of contestants competing to become the storeʼs assistant was three trillion, eight hundred seventy-eight billion, and several hundred million.

Despite such a humungous number of participants, the number of people in the sitting area was several times more than that. It was an impossible task for them to look at every participantʼs action in their respective world, so the people simply focused on their family members. When the number of participants would have dwindled to double digits, they could look at every participant at once.

The system allowed the crowd to multiview and not get overwhelmed, making the watching experience even better for them.

There was a screen with twenty-seven sections before everyone in the crowd, so they could see 27 participants at once and understand everything that was happening.

The time difference between the virtual world and the real world was also different, as many participants would take hundreds of thousands if not millions of years in the competition, and the store didnʼt have that kind of time.

To make the competition fair for everyone, the participants would be ordinary mortals with the same level of physique and capability. The worlds they would be in would also have the same level of power even though they might have different abilities.

Uzoma also only focused on her family members, which were her husband and son, so the screen before her had only two sections. Immediately after the participants entered, the screens lit up, and a new world appeared on them.

”Your Majesty, what do you think we should do?” A struggling voice rang in Emekaʼs hands immediately after he entered the portal.

He had a confused expression, but with the systemʼs help, he immediately adjusted to what was happening before him. His memory flashed before his eyes about how he slowly rose to power and finally reached the peak of the world.

The participants would have no recollection of their lives in reality, so Emeka was a native of the virtual world only.

Reaching the top of the world wasnʼt easy, as it took years of effort to unify the world, and when he finally became the sole Emperor, a piece of terrible news arrived. A space fleet with advanced weapons had been sighted near the solar system, and they didnʼt seem to be coming here for friendship.
