I AM the Football Star

The Champions League has ended, but the impact brought by the San Remo miracle is far from over.

Not only San Remo, even Serie A has taken off together with San Remo.

In the past five years, Serie A teams have reached the Champions League final four times!

In the past three years, Serie A teams have lifted the Champions League trophy twice!

The world’s number one league—if not us, then who?

Ratings, sponsors, partners, overall influence—Serie A is flying against the wind, making people this summer almost feel like they’ve returned to the glory of the ”Little World Cup” era.

Just as Lu Yang said, there are seven more teams in Serie A as strong as San Remo!

They’re only eighth in Serie A!

Although Lu Yang’s future is still unclear because of his injury, the market value of Serie A players has been driven up by him.

When one man ascends to heaven, even his chickens and dogs go up with him!

Besides, this isn’t the first time Serie A players have ascended.

The Gutierrez of the year before last, and last year’s Izalelt, both slaughtered all opposition and conquered the Premier League and La Liga.

This year Lu Yang came to wrap it all up, and completely set up the golden signboard of Serie A.

All Serie A players absolutely have to thank these three players; it’s thanks to Lu Yang and the others that everyone has the chance to eat better food.

You could call them benefactors of the industry.

Their merit is immeasurable.

Serie A players suddenly became hot commodities; it’s said that many clubs have turned their recruitment gaze toward Serie A.

The specific results will depend on the game of chess played this summer.

As for the Lu Yang incident, UEFA later issued a serious punishment against Santos!

A fine of Thirty thousand euros, said to be the highest in football history.

And UEFA handed Santos a six-month ban; during those six months he cannot participate in any competition under UEFA’s banner!

This is a very heavy punishment, because UEFA generally doesn’t hand out bans to players; at most three to five matches, they rarely use years as a unit!

At the same time, the Champions League officially announced this year’s various Champions League awards.

In the statistical awards, Barça player Moreira was crowned the Champions League dribbling king!

He edged out his teammate Mateo and Bayern’s left winger Robben by a narrow margin.

Robben missed several matches due to injury; otherwise he could have surpassed Moreira.

As for Mateo... in Barça’s last Champions League match, the one Moreira missed, he did not perform well; Real Madrid slaughtered them the whole game, he had few chances to carry the ball forward, and even when he did, he rarely converted them.

That match can be said to have woken Barça up.

Barça can be without Moreira in the future, but right now they still can’t.

Mateo and Barça’s midfield trident have not fully matured yet!

They still need time.

The Champions League tackling king is Real Madrid’s holding midfielder Joseph; those two legs against Barça let him pad his stats like crazy!

The Champions League assist king is the young Morici from San Remo!

His eight assists edged out Real Madrid’s Izalelt by one; he also became one of the rare players to simultaneously win the assist crown in both Serie A and the Champions League in a single season!

It’s worth mentioning that Talista also had five assists and shone brightly in the Champions League.

And the Champions League top scorer, of course, is Lu Yang, who scored a terrifying record of twenty-one goals!

He likewise took both the Serie A and Champions League Golden Boots in the same season.

Even scarier, whether in Serie A or the Champions League, Lu Yang broke records while winning the Golden Boot!

He also has a very high probability of being crowned the European Golden Boot this year!

Finally, this season’s Champions League Best Player award went to Lu Yang!

This award is utterly undisputed.

Lu Yang thus created another record.

Which is... in every competition he has participated in, he has won that competition’s Best Player award!

Italian D Division, Italian Third Division, Serie B, Serie A, Italian Cup, European Youth Championship, European Cup, UEFA Europa League, Champions League!

He can be called a Best Player harvesting machine!

If not for injuries, people even believe that in the future Lu Yang might collect the Best Player trophy of every football competition in this world.

As long as he’s willing to go!

Just like in Serie A, Lu Yang also took both Best Player and Best Forward honors in the Champions League!

He beat his strongest rival Robben head-on; that’s incredibly convincing.

Izalelt, with his super high-profile performances, won the Champions League Best Midfielder.

San Remo veteran Bernulin turned back the clock to his peak, not only lifting the Champions League trophy he’d never even touched at Juventus, but also beating the world’s number one center-back Apple to become this year’s Champions League Best Defender!

The little old man wept like a fountain, nothing more to be said!

Thus, the Champions League Best XI led by Lu Yang was also unveiled.

The three forwards are Robben, Lu Yang, and Lima.

Among them, Lima’s selection this year is quite controversial.

In terms of fame, he fully deserves it.

But in terms of performances... he did after all get injured too early, and lacked dominance.

By comparison, Barça’s Mateo is better in pure stats.

In terms of team honors, Talista and Pavovsky can both压过 Lima.

Unfortunately, the team of the former was directly knocked out by Real Madrid.

The teams of the latter two respectively have giant thighs like Lu Yang and Robben, so their importance and aura are easily overshadowed by their teammates.

There’s no helping that.

The three midfielders are Ortiz, Izalelt, and Morici.

Among them, Barça’s Ortiz is the most controversial, again because of team honors.

But UEFA’s panel stated that Barça’s tactics have refreshed the concepts and trends of World Football; such football should receive more recognition and promotion.

Professionals within the industry do indeed acknowledge this.

The four defenders in the Champions League Best XI are Real Madrid left back Junior, San Remo center back Bernulin, Bayern center back Apple, and Manchester United right back O’Shea Neville.
