I AM the Football Star

”Long live! Long live San Remo!”

”Dare to make sun and moon change the sky! Florence and San Remo topple the four-time Serie A champions!”

”This year’s Serie A is purple!”

”A new king of Serie A is born, Carrel’s ten-year journey finally ends in glory!”

”Juventus’ terminator, Lu Yang!”

”Trading one lost title for another! Juventus should never have beaten San Remo in the Italian Cup final!”

”San Remo, who always settles the score! Juventus painfully lose the league title!”

”Is it that Juventus got weaker? No, it’s that Serie A got stronger!”

”Premier League fans are confused: San Remo are actually only eighth in Serie A?”

The news of Florence winning the title spread across the land in an instant.

Juventus winning the title isn’t news; losing it is.

In the post‑match interviews, Florence’s side practically wanted to kneel down to San Remo.

Carrel: ”Magnificent! This is a magnificent season! We’ve produced the best version of Florence! With a result like this, we’re all very satisfied, very excited!”

The reporter tries to stir things up a bit: ”Lots of people say this title has a share that belongs to San Remo. What do you think?”

Carrel: ”Of course! That’s beyond doubt! You’ve all seen how good Versachi is; no team would willingly sell a player like that.”

”San Remo weren’t selling at all at first. It wasn’t until I called Lu Yang that—I think our attitude moved them—so they were willing to let Versachi go to us for such a low price.”

Reporter: ”Versachi’s transfer fee was Fifteen Million. That’s not low, is it?”

Carrel: ”Don’t mess with me. At that time he was worth at least Twenty Million, and now... his value might be Thirty Million. But even if you offer Forty Million, we at Florence won’t sell!”

Reporter: ”San Remo gifted you six points, while Juventus got zero points off them. Was that the key to your title?”

Carrel: ”Of course! Even when San Remo were under pressure from other competitions, they still respected every match. That kind of professionalism is something every footballer should learn from!”

Reporter: ”But Rome subbed off their starters with more than twenty minutes left. Is that professional enough?”

Carrel: ”Rome did their best. Their adjustments were correct. They didn’t concede any more goals afterwards, did they?”

The reporter cursed silently, thinking, you shameless double‑standard dog.

On the Juventus side, the players had no way to lash out at the Purple Lily or Rome.

Because the ownership of that trophy had always been in their hands; they themselves passed the trophy to Florence.

Ancelotti: ”This is something new. In the past four years we’d never had an experience like this. But I don’t see it as the end of the world. On the contrary, I think this is a rebirth for Juventus.”

”We failed this year, but next year we will definitely take this trophy back.”

”I can feel Juventus getting better. Kolber is still improving with every game, and I hope everyone can give him more time.”

”Also, this failure will wake our players up. Next season, in both the league and the Champions League, we’ll be far more explosive!”

Compared to Ancelotti, who’s seen it all, Kolber, new to a super‑club, still had tears in his eyes: ”It’s a huge regret, I’m very sorry. We did the best we could, but we still couldn’t beat San Remo.”

”Sometimes, they’re just a despair‑inducing opponent.”

”Florence aren’t stronger than us, but they are luckier than us.”

”Of course, I also hope that the San Remo side who beat us can carry the mission of Serie A football and start strong in European Competition!”

Audi: ”We’ve had too much go our way these past few years. Losing the title now might shatter a lot of fans’ beautiful illusions. But in the long run, it’s good for the team.”

”We’ve been comfortable for too long. We’re like lions that have forgotten how to fight—always missing that little something.”

Chiavich: ”There’s no solution! You just can’t stop Lu Yang, that’s my assessment of him. I’ll definitely watch the game between San Remo and Bayern, because I want to know whether that world‑number‑one center‑back at Bayern can stop Lu Yang!”

Turan: ”A big part of this defeat is on me; I was too reckless. I’m really sorry. Next season I’ll bring more to Juventus and make it up to everyone!”

On the San Remo side, they actually drew even more interviews than the champions Florence.

Canyes: ”As a Juventus academy product, I know the glory of Juventus. But I also know some of Juventus’ problems. Maybe this failure can awaken the real Juventus.”

Morici: ”Congratulations to the Purple Lily. They’ve done something incredible. Especially Versachi—he’s become the new core of the Purple Lily midfield. The chemistry between him and Carrel is Florence’s biggest gain this season.”

”Cortino has been excellent too. He’s one of the best holding midfielders in Serie A right now!”

Sotu: ”Congratulations to the Purple Lily on winning this precious Serie A title. And of course, congratulations to AC Milan for once again qualifying for European Competition and securing their league position.”

”I’ll always hope AC Milan get better and better.”

”A lot of people are asking me about our preparation and views on the Champions League final. I can’t say much yet, because Lu Yang hasn’t given me my instructions—uh, cough... Lu Yang hasn’t discussed it with me yet.”

”Our team is very demo‑cratic. To give the players more involvement, we always have full‑squad meetings before games. Players are much more committed when they’re executing tactics they’ve helped create!”

’Tactical Master’ Sotu handled himself perfectly, and it looked like he even had a secret weapon ready for Bayern.
