Beneath the Red Dragon

”I will go back and prepare. I will definitely be able to find the perfect timeline where there is no death, avoiding future dangers. If I find that way, I hope to gain your friendship and help, noble and mighty one, a king with wisdom and courage, Karon Gogomola!”

Time Dragon Denirais said seriously.

”I need your help to reverse the future.”

Although Time Dragons have initial mastery of time abilities from birth, time travel has never been a simple matter.

Throughout the changing years and the transitions of the world, Time Dragons live by breathing and devouring time and almost as part of time itself.

When reaching adulthood, a Time Dragon’s innate time control abilities are sufficient for them to manipulate their connection to the stream of time, allowing them to freely enter and leave it at will.

Upon reaching their adult stage, they surpass the level of legends, appearing almost as tangible manifestations of time itself.

But even for Time Dragons, preparations must be made before time traveling, and it requires an enormous expenditure of energy.

Time Dragons of Ancient Dragon level can establish a uniquely complex and intricate connection with the stream of time, enabling these powerful dragons to move freely back and forth within it.

This means that Ancient Time Dragons can traverse from the present time to past times and possible futures, exploring the different futures decided by each choice.

Although even Ancient Time Dragons cannot casually alter the established past, it does not prevent these Time Dragons from using their unique abilities to gain some extra benefits and avoid future dangers.

Karon did not know what preparations Denirais would make or what price would be paid to travel through the stream of time at her current adolescent stage, but he still offered advice to this currently relatively friendly Time Dragon.

”There is no perfect timeline. For me, the formula to reverse time is—cherish the present,” the broad head of the Ancestral Red Dragon lifted, gazing into Denirais’ eyes, which resembled the ticking clock hands, with a light chuckle.

It was as if a pair of eyes opened in the void, fixing upon the temporal echoes of Time Dragon Denirais, the rotating clock hands in Denirais’ pupils were frozen by an indescribable vast will.

The entire Golden Empire, with its will domain of 4.5 million citizens, its imperial power instantaneously descended. The will of the Imperial Dragon Emperor, within the strong domain, overlooked all beings, wielding the supreme authority.

Thus, even the flow of time power had to be restricted in front of these eyes resembling a red dragon’s gaze, which was the belief and spiritual will from the Ancestral Red Dragon Karon Gogomola, negating the abilities of Time Dragon Denirais.

One cannot say negated, because the Time Dragon’s abilities truly exist. Or rather, in front of the Ancestral Red Dragon Karon Gogomola, Time Dragon Denirais must rely on her own will to break through the influence of the Ancestral Red Dragon to wield her own time authority, the ability to move time with will.

This is why the Ancestral Red Dragon does not see the Time Dragon as an opponent but rather as a potential hunting target.

Karon Gogomola is yet unable to overcome the Ancient Time Dragon, but as long as the Ancient Time Dragon does not exist in the present world form, it can never truly appear before the Ancestral Red Dragon.

Spirit influences matter, matter encompasses space-time, because, in the ’moment’ of the Ancestral Red Dragon’s eyes, space-time exists in unity.

Therefore, within the domain range of the Golden Empire, all rules must obey the will and stipulations of the Ancestral Red Dragon.

It is like the legend where a mighty Giant God perceives the world’s time as a river of time, and thus, in front of this ancient Giant God, time presents as an endless long river with no beginning, yet with a source.

A feeling of powerlessness and insignificance arose in the heart of this Time Dragon.

How strong is the spirit of a Giant Dragon, every Giant Dragon’s dragon power not only derives from its innate bloodline abilities but also from the strong soul and spirit will of each Giant Dragon.

The stronger the spirit of the Giant Dragon, the stronger the dragon power will inevitably be, which is an indisputable conclusion among dragons.

But when the Ancestral Red Dragon is no longer playing house-like games with the King of Frost Giants, Ragnar Heg, and gives serious thoughts, the abilities it exhibits even shock the Time Dragon Denirais, who has seen countless beings.

Denirais even had a strong premonition that the will of the Ancestral Red Dragon on the imperial domain was only to conceal the deepest aspects of this Red Dragon.

Because the power of the Empire must also submit beneath the supreme powers of this Ancestral Red Dragon.

Denirais stopped her actions and said hoarsely: ”Your esteemed majesty, why do you want to stop me? Our interests should be common!”

The suppression from the spirit disappeared instantly, as if it never happened.

But the enormous figure of the Ancestral Red Dragon, in the eyes of Time Dragon Denirais, had become an indescribable shadow of its grand power.

Karon extended a dragon claw and gently beckoned to the Time Dragon before him, ”Come here, Denirais, there’s no need to be so serious!”

The abrupt gesture of the Ancestral Red Dragon was no longer regarded as a provocation by the Time Dragon, even if the beckoning posture was considered insulting in the proud eyes of a Giant Dragon.

As a Time Dragon, they never usually communicate with living beings in the mortal world; most of their interactions are with powerful beings like Immortals and Divine-like spirits.
