Beneath the Red Dragon

So the Paladins raised their Longswords high, the Sacred Power and Divine Power within them beginning to shine, ”Courage is the anthem of life facing fear!”

The Paladins shouted, their Courage Aura granting them the spirit to never fear terror and evil, and it could also spread this courage to their companions, helping them resist the Dragon Power oppressing from the Evil Dragon.

”Supreme Slash!”

The Paladins shouted, slashing towards the Female Red Dragon.

The Casters’ magic strikes also instantly targeted the massive body of the Red Dragon, showering down.

Dragons, especially Red Dragons, can be considered walking war machines.

Whether it’s the Dragon’s steel claws or fangs, they’re sharper and tougher than the warriors’ weapons. The scales on the Dragon not only provide physical defense but also resistance to magic.

Although the Female Red Dragon’s movements were restricted, her massive body meant that the spells from these Casters would not miss their target.

But the magic of several Low Level Mages barely managed to break the pure Magic Power shield on this Female Dragon’s body, after which their power completely vanished.

Only weapons enchanted with the Sacred Energy by the Paladins could harm the Young Red Dragon, but the attacks of two Paladins were entirely blocked by the Red Dragon’s claws and fangs, as the combat skills inherited from the Giant Dragon endowed every Dragon with excellent close-combat abilities.

The three hundred elite warriors in the Modir Territory stood ready on the outskirts, not engaging in close combat. On one hand, it was to prevent this Red Dragon from escaping, while on the other, it was because Elise did not want to see her legion suffer damage.

The teams hired with Gold Coin, even if damaged, would just require more compensation, but damage to the territory’s legion would have more severe consequences.

The Casters bestowed a magical Shield upon the Druids, and two wandering Druids rolled forward, transforming under the Dragon’s Breath into a giant bear and a robust eagle.

Under the entanglement of these two powerful Druids and the bear shield, the Young Red Dragon started to falter and lose balance.

The Paladins’ Refined Gold Longswords could pierce the Red Dragon’s Scale Armor, penetrating the dragon’s tough muscles.

Although a sword wound is insignificant to the dragon’s enormous body, over time, under the constraint of the Magic Array, the Female Red Dragon began to show signs of fatigue.

Scalding Dragon Blood started flowing and pooling beneath the Female Red Dragon’s body, forming a spring of steaming heat. The Red Dragon’s Fury had completely occupied the Female Red Dragon’s mind and pupils, the deep red of blood exceptionally ferocious.

Roar, the Female Red Dragon spewed explosive Dragon Breath, forcing the Paladins to retreat, while her giant dragon claw slapped the giant bear Druid away, the muscles beneath the scales suddenly bulging.

With a crack, the Magic Lock Chain summoned by the Magic Array finally reached the limit of its capacity, beginning to show signs of breaking.

Holy Knight Elise lightly lifted the Heavy Sword hanging diagonally from her horse’s side, ready to strike.

For the sixteenth-level Knight Elise, the Young Red Dragon was an extremely dangerous opponent. He could seize the opportunity to kill the dragon, but the dragon could also kill him.

But Elise could only afford to make one mistake, while the dragon could make many.

This was the Dragons’ natural advantage over most other races.

But as the mighty Dragon Power spread, a more terrifying dragon than the Young Red Dragon suddenly appeared.

The golden-haired Paladin dismissed her humanoid form, transforming into a massive Golden Dragon, raising her head to roar.

Elise exclaimed, ”Naloya?”

But the adult Golden Dragon had already charged forward, the immense Dragon Horn with unparalleled strength flipping the furious Female Red Dragon completely to the ground.

Bang, the Female Golden Dragon more furious than the enraged Red Dragon pressed her claw firmly on the Red Dragon’s body, her foreclaws embedding tightly in the Red Dragon’s forelimbs, with giant fangs showing, close to the Red Dragon’s throat.

A cold voice echoed from the mouth of the Female Golden Dragon: ”The land Silver Dragon Chris yearns for is one that allows these Evil Dragons to act so wantonly? How ridiculous!”

”Let me go, you despicable Golden Dragon, roar, how dare you help humans against me?” the Female Red Dragon roared and struggled, but trapped by the Magic Array’s chains and further suppressed by the more powerful Golden Dragon, it was merely in vain.

The massive paw of the Female Golden Dragon Naloya harshly slapped the Red Dragon’s cheek, interrupting the Female Red Dragon’s roar.

”If you make another sound, I’ll kill you,” the naked killing intent appeared in the Golden Dragon’s pupils, not only from the past grudges and blood battles between Metal Dragons and Colorful Dragons but also from the hatred of that one past night.

Facing the threat of death, the furious Red Dragon barely calmed down. Although Metal Dragons rarely killed Colorful Dragons, even in hostile situations, there were Metal Dragons specifically hunting Colorful Dragons.

However, the Female Golden Dragon’s threat was interrupted by Holy Knight Elise, who leaped off her horse, wielding the deep black Heavy Sword between the Female Golden Dragon’s exposed fangs and the Female Red Dragon’s neck.

”What do you mean by this, Elise?”

The Female Golden Dragon Naloya turned her head, her dazzling golden pupils filled with hostility toward the powerful Holy Knight.

”Pardon me, beautiful and majestic Golden Dragon, Lady Naloya,” Elise said solemnly, ”Gold Dragons may be the embodiment of goodness and justice, but in the Northern Continent, it’s not a place you should govern.”

”This Red Dragon, although I long to kill her, cut off her head, and hang it at the city gates as a warning to all Evil Dragons,”

”But only a dragon can kill a dragon, and only a dragon can execute a dragon!”

Elise said lightly, ”It is the Dragon Kings of the Northern Golden Empire that are the judges who can judge these Evil Dragons. The Supreme Ruler of the World of the Northern Golden Empire, Lord Gogomola, is the one who determines the fate of these Evil Dragons.”

”Though you are a dragon, everything living in Modir is not a dragon!”

”The Dragon’s Code might not have become law in Modir, but it has become an untouchable standard in our hearts!”

The Female Golden Dragon Naloya was shocked by the influence of the Northern Dragon Kingdom, yet simultaneously filled with defiance and confusion. She wrinkled the fine scales between her brows, ”You just allow this Evil Dragon to leave, even if she harmed your people, plundered your wealth, just to drive her away?”

Holy Knight Elise shook her head, gazing meaningfully at the Golden Dragon, softly saying, ”The world is not made by power; it is formed by various factors. That’s why there is room for weak existences like Modir,”

”But the main order of the world is determined by power, so we need to respect the opinions of those strong ones.”

”The Northern Dragon Emperor is a strong being whose will we must follow!”

Elise sighed, ”As for this Evil Dragon, she will be escorted to the Northern Golden Empire, handed over to the Gogomola Dragon Group for disposition.”

The Female Golden Dragon Naloya asked incredulously, ”Aren’t you afraid that the Gogomola Dragon Group will shield this Evil Dragon? What about the losses your territory suffered, what about those deceased maidens?”

Elise instructed his warriors to bind the troubled Red Dragon with the Demon-Banning Chain, then turned back to answer the Golden Dragon’s question.

”To wear the crown, bear its weight. The crown of the Dragon Emperor has long been placed on the head of the Northern Emperor, so he must bear its burden,”

Holy Knight Elise waved his hand slightly, forcing a smile, ”You have come from afar and do not understand the matters here, but the Northern Dragon Emperor is not an ordinary Giant Dragon. All the Northern countries know this, and they fear it.”

The Female Golden Dragon Naloya raised her head, gazing northward into the distance.

If Silver Dragon Chris is a moth to a flame, then what about her!
