Beneath the Red Dragon

The gradually dissipating plane summoning passage echoed with the last remnants of the demon’s voice, ”I tell you, the Nine Prisons Plane, the closest to the Icaria World in relative plane distance, has already blacklisted this continent’s specific coordinates. If you truly want the help of demons or devils, it’s best to try summoning demons and devils from other planes. Don’t look for me again!”

Pa, the entire ceremony of the summoning array suddenly exploded, leaving only some mercury vapor condensing persistently in the air.

Several demon contractors looked at each other, involuntarily turning to Holy Knight Elis.

Elis waved his hand helplessly, ”Forget it, you can go now. Your payment is also forfeited!”

Elis turned his gaze to a few of the detecting casters, showing a questioning expression.

”Lord Elis, inside the Evil Dragon’s nest, there is not only the presence of the Evil Dragon’s life force but also a human’s life force,”

The caster in charge of detection stepped forward and said softly.

If only the Evil Dragon’s life force existed, the besieging legion could use spells and weaponry recklessly to forcibly drive that Evil Dragon out.

But with the presence of a human, even these casters found it difficult to speak, leaving the decision to this leader.

Fortunately, Elis was lucky; the world did not present this leader with another kind of moral dilemma.

Because the red Evil Dragon voluntarily poked its head out of its nest.

”You little ones dare to challenge the majesty of a Giant Dragon,” the red Giant Dragon opened its ferocious jaws, revealing long fangs, with slightly dried bloodstains glaring on the Evil Dragon’s teeth.

A roaring Dragon Roar laughed, ”In the face of a Giant Dragon’s power, what use is your numbers!”

Before the Giant Dragon spoke, the mortal armies could not identify the Giant Dragon’s gender, but upon hearing the feminine tone, many warriors realized that this notorious Red Dragon was actually a Female Dragon.

That also meant the maidens abducted to the Evil Dragon’s nest might already have perished in the maw of this Evil Dragon.

”Damn Evil Dragon,”

Elis couldn’t help but grit his teeth, ordering: ”Legion, prepare! Attack according to plan!”

But the Female Red Dragon was merely bluffing. She flew out of the cave, soaring into the sky, casting a sixteen-meter shadow rapidly away from the ground.

Swish, swish, swish,

The urgent, shrill sound of breaking through the air was much faster than the speed of this young Female Red Dragon. The rotating Dragon-Hunting Crossbow kept adjusting its angle, launching a deadly attack at that moment.

Sixteen massive Dragon-Hunting Crossbows instantaneously covered the rising direction of the young Red Dragon diagonally, forcing her to drop to low altitude.

Boom,

The massive Nail Cannons also fired from the barrels. These Nail Cannons not only carried immense power enough to penetrate the scales of an ordinary Giant Dragon, but the Thorny Iron Net mounted behind the Nail Cannons would also embed within the gaps beneath the Giant Dragon Scales, restricting the Giant Dragon’s movements.

Roar,

The young Red Dragon let out an angry roar, retracting her wings, riding the Magic Power and gale to rapidly descend her massive body, dodging a deadly barrage of dense Dragon-Hunting Crossbows.

The rampant Flame Dragon Breath spewed between the Female Red Dragon’s fangs, and the enormous impact slanted a few Nail Cannons with Thorny Iron Nets, deflecting their shooting trajectory, scraping past her wings and abdomen.

But at this moment, a massive Magic Array suddenly emerged on the ground, where rune-like chains of light comprised of Magic Power coiled instantly over the Female Red Dragon’s body.

The Female Red Dragon let out a roar, with her enormous strength pulling at the binding chains of the Magic Array, straightening each radiant strip.

These fist-sized Magic Lock Chains, each easily capable of holding a frenzied galloping stallion, numbered in the dozens or hundreds wrapped around this Female Red Dragon’s body.

Even so, a few of the Magic Lock Chains creaked and crackled as if unable to withstand the Female Red Dragon’s tremendous strength, threatening to snap at any moment.

The formidable power of the Giant Dragon was terrifying to ordinary creatures.

But the twisting sound of the Dragon-Hunting Crossbow cautioned the Female Red Dragon.

The Female Dragon roared and landed on the ground to avoid becoming a completely exposed target in mid-air.

The Female Red Dragon observed the Druid on the ground draped in Beast fur, the casters and priests hiding behind the warriors, and those Paladins whose weapons shone and were imbued with Sacred Power like Magic.

And the golden-haired female Paladin, whose most perilous aura flickered around that Paladin, the golden-haired Paladin’s pupils carrying intense hatred and loathing, made the Female Red Dragon feel a deadly threat.

Thus, the Female Dragon lifted her head, roaring, with Magic Power surging nearly to a boil under the pressure of the Evil Dragon Blood, with tremendous power erupting around the Female Dragon.

The Magic Lock Chains summoned by the Magic Array on the ground tightly bound the Giant Dragon’s body, beginning to coil around the Giant Dragon’s wings, preventing the Giant Dragon from moving freely.

Some chains even stretched towards the Red Dragon’s neck and Dragon Horn, attempting to restrain the Red Dragon’s terrifying Dragon Breath.

But under the Female Red Dragon’s strenuous struggle, the temporary Magic Array consumed Magic Power extremely rapidly, and at this moment, the Magic Lock Chains of the whole array were dragged and stretched by the massive Red Dragon, approaching the critical point of power overload.
