Beneath the Red Dragon

”Ah,” a soul with a severed head and withered body was torn by the world’s essence and the call from the Nether River, flying out of the Holy Hall.

”I refuse, I am unwilling!” The soul of the slain Jackal-Wolf Man Commander wore shattered iron armor embedded in his soul, clinging tightly to the dim Holy Hall pillars. The powerful pulling force made him wobble like a small boat in a storm, ready to topple at any moment.

The souls, unwilling, screamed and struggled, but the souls lacking the protection of the Power of Heart Energy could not be perceived by mortals.

The Giant Dragon’s beloved ones were lifeless, silent and suppressive, merely repeating the act of smearing their weapons over and over.

The Power of the Mind descended at this moment, like divine spirits showering their brilliance and blessings from the heavens. The blood-colored Holy Hall suddenly quaked, rising leisurely, and the silent blood color blossomed with boundless light.

The Song of the Giant Dragon and the Song of Heroic Souls engraved in the Giant Dragon Hall were unsung. They guided that boundless light to spill and fall upon each soul.

The iron armor on the soul of the Jackal-Wolf Man Commander restored, the blood color faded, and the entire soul solidified, emanating a layer of white brilliance.

The brilliance isolated the call of the Nether River, bringing peace and serenity to the soul of the Jackal-Wolf Man Commander. This violent soul fervently and devoutly shouted: ”Praise my lord, praise my king, praise the Dragon King who rules the world!”

One by one, the souls radiated holy brilliance, loudly chanting: ”Praise my lord, praise my king, praise the Dragon King who rules the world!”

Holy brilliance manifested here, and heroic spirits could reappear. The Holy Hall floated, and below, the warriors at this moment felt the presence of the Red Dragon, and all the warriors threw their weapons high. An active aura descended again, fervent and clamorous.

All the warriors shouted loudly: ”My king, my lord, the Dragon King who rules the world!”

Karon’s consciousness at this moment, suddenly expanded with the Power of the Mind of countless souls. He felt the pulse of the world, the spiritual consciousness fluctuations of all life in Greenfield Forest, and also sensed the consciousness fluctuations of all the Trees of Life on this plane.

In the next moment, his will descended along these fluctuations into the frequency and rhythm linked to the consciousness of all the Trees of Life. The consciousness of all the Trees of Life echoed with this Red Dragon’s wild laughter: ”Make your choice, surrender or be destroyed!”

...

A prosperous land, far from the Dragon Group Territory, on the Southern Continent, belonged to Count Rabik’s territory. In the eyes of the people of Count Rabik’s Territory, this count was not only tall and handsome, with flowing golden hair that captivated many lovesick girls.

Moreover, Count Rabik was wealthy and kind, owning the most luxurious palace, yet never exploiting the common people in his territory. This luxurious palace was built solely with his family’s wealth.

Every day, countless girls dreaming of becoming the count’s lover stood before this luxurious palace, pretending to pass by unintentionally, hoping to earn Count Rabik’s favor.

Unfortunately, Count Rabik seemed overly passionate, only adoring the Countess with silver hair. Although the Countess was a fragrance and beauty, the girls deeply understanding the noble nature also hoped the Count would someday taste wild herbs, but none ever succeeded.

This luxurious palace, measured in acres, had gardens full of roses, beautifully carved statues in fountains, grand halls laid with magnificent skins, and countless elegant and secluded lodges.

The things owned by a noble’s castle, this palace possessed, moreover, far more grand and majestic than those of nobility.

Numerous beautiful maidens walked through the palace with golden jugs and silver trays. Each of these beautiful maidens was far more beautiful than the girls lingering outside the palace, possessing the most graceful posture and most fitting attire and makeup.

A few beautiful maidens passed through the palace, chatting and laughing, stopping in a rear garden. They carried gold and silver watering cans, spraying and watering the blooming flowers in the garden.

”Hehe, it’s said that the Young King from the Land of Golden was formerly called the tyrant ruling earth and magma, and now has been dubbed the Dragon of World Creation by many human scholars. That Red Dragon recently actually received the allegiance of the Metal Dragon; truly incredible, a Metal Dragon willing to bow to a Five-Color Dragon.”

One beautiful maiden spoke to her companion as she watered the flowers.

”Quite normal, that Red Dragon is different from other Five-Color Dragons. The Dragon Group he leads is also very different from those foolish Five-Color Dragons. I even recently bought a book supposedly spreading stories in the Land of Golden, about ogres and beautiful maidens,”

Her companion laughed lightly, ”The story is very moving. I even cried secretly under my blankets, wiping away many tears. I didn’t expect such ugly creatures could experience such beautiful emotions!”

The expression of the beautiful maiden suddenly became mischievous, her delicate beauty raising slightly. She lowered her voice with a light laugh: ”The story of ogres and beautiful maidens, huh? I think you should be wiping tears.”

Her companion’s face reddened as she extended her slender, white fingers, pinching the body of the beautiful maiden, their laughter instantly filling the garden.

On high lofts, the window of the study was open, a golden-haired youth sat on a wide chair draped with sumptuous beast hides, flipping through the book in his hands. Occasionally turned pages revealed the faint words on the cover—Game of Dragons and Power.

The maidens’ light laughter and frolic reached the golden-haired youths’ ears on a breeze, and this spirited youth suddenly tossed away the book in his hands.

”What nonsense about dragons and a game of power, how could proud dragons wage war over mortals’ power struggles, fighting each other? It’s utterly ridiculous.”

The golden-haired youth’s eyes revealed a cold sneer, ”Tyrant ruling earth and magma? Dragon of World Creation? Ha, merely a lucky Five-Color Dragon, deserving of such a title!”

The golden-haired youth clenched his fists, an unusual power surged within his body.

This power stirred the deepest pride and arrogance within the dragon’s nature, bringing the youth tremendous magnification and unusual strength. This powerful energy’s fullness let his lips slightly curl up, showing a confident smile.

”Ha, arrogant power, precisely the ability naturally paired with dragons. I will prove I am stronger than that Red Dragon. Only the strong deserve a name. I, Obilash Rabik, am the true strong!”
