I Am Not A Goblin Slayer

Above the sky, in the blinding afternoon sun, a small figure is rapidly approaching.

Seeing that familiar figure, Hephaestus felt a surge of excitement in his heart.

”Boom!!!”

While everyone else was completely taken aback.

Gauss fell into the crowd as if he were a meteorite crashing down.

”Vampiric Touch!”

While sitting on a few cultists, Gauss’s figure swiftly darted around.

The water sword in his hand entangled with blood-red energy mercilessly stripped away life.

”Enemy attack!!!”

The Dragon Worship Sect cultists quickly reacted.

Someone aimed a magic staff and weapons at Gauss.

Gauss’s peripheral vision quickly took in the scene.

He glanced at the dying dragon beast Hephaestus, Ulfen nailed in a pool of blood with a spear, and Aaliyah floating in the air unconscious, a terrible penetrating wound in her abdomen.

His gaze turned incomparably cold towards this group of Dragon Worship Sect cultists.

A surge of frustration, self-blame, and burning fury brewed in his heart.

If not for himself, perhaps Aaliyah wouldn’t have faced this calamity, or rather, if he hadn’t unnecessarily insisted on having her bring Hephaestus...

Dragons are inherently irritable.

Although the various dragon traits in Gauss’s body have been adapted by the Adventurer’s Handbook into human talents, they still affect Gauss somewhat. All along, he has not wanted to let this ”beast nature” or ”dragon nature” override his reason.

Or rather, compared to monsters, he has always held a basic empathy for humans from the same origin.

That’s why he often helps weaker civilians, adventurers, and even when encountering people like the village chief and elders of the herb village, he did not arbitrarily take their lives but instead handed them over to the Guild for processing.

But at this moment, consumed by anger, Gauss did not want to restrain the tumultuous emotions within his body.

He didn’t want to think about whether anyone among this group was coerced into joining the cult, nor about whether they might have loved ones and people who loved them.

He wanted to kill them all!

”Roar!!!”

A terrifying roar erupted from his throat.

Energy scales instantly covered his entire body.

At the same time, his pupils narrowed significantly, and those icy Dragon Eyes fixated steadfastly on the numerous monsters and the cult members beside them.

”You are... Dragon-man Gauss!”

Others recognized his identity as soon as they saw him transform into a dragon shape.

The crowd was filled with varied emotions.

Some faintly felt fear, realizing his extraordinary aura; others showed excited smiles, as if seeing great achievements beckoning to them...

The corners of their mouths slightly raised, as if a beautiful scene appeared before their eyes.

”Boom!!”

Gauss’s dragon claw hit the face squarely, instantly shattering the head of a cultist with a nasty grin. The struck head exploded like a watermelon mercilessly.

Death!!

Monsters and the cult members appeared as fragile as paper figures under the full force of Gauss’s swift and vigorous onslaught.

Blood, brains splattered indiscriminately under his relentless punches.

”Immobilization Skill!”

”Ray of Enfeeblement!”

The scholar Nolan hiding among the crowd seized the moment when Gauss’s back was turned.

He quickly released two spells unexpectedly.

Gauss felt himself momentarily restrained, but he soon broke free.

A faint green decaying energy hit his chest.

The dragon scales condensed by the Gauss Position on his surface quickly vibrated, and the lunar robe swiftly emitted protective power to resist the damage.

”Master Level Necromancer?”

Gauss tilted his head, instantly locking onto the target.

The dragon scales shattered then quickly regenerated as Gauss swung his water sword, consecutively slaying several monsters.

Vampiric Touch, like tentacles of an octopus, rapidly absorbed life energy from the dead monsters into Gauss’s body, healing the damage caused by the Ray of Enfeeblement.

He was about to close in on the necromancer.

Suddenly, a black figure coalesced behind him from the air.

”Clang!”

Gauss raised his hand to block the short blade stabbing at him.

Sparks flew as the dragon scales and the dragon-tooth-shaped short blade collided.

But fortunately, Gauss’s strength was greater, repelling the opponent back.

Before he could finish off the attack, the opponent’s figure once again disappeared into the air.

”Another Master Level Professional.”

So, you’re next?

His peripheral vision shifted to the last tall and sturdy man standing on guard.

Clearly, the Dragon Worship Sect had deployed three Master Level Professionals for this action.

Adding the monsters and the cult members they commanded, this was a force strong enough to easily devastate a small town.

If an ordinary adventurer squad encountered this array, even with a young dragon beast, it would be difficult to withstand.

”Leave the stealthy assassin to me.”

Three shadows rose from the ground, coalescing into Ying’s body.

”Alright.”

Gauss did not dwell on it.

In his perception, the trio was led by the middle-aged man dressed as a scholar, who was also the strongest.

He even suspected the latter might be the leader of the Dragon Worship Sect in Flute Castle.

”Leave that big guy to me.”

Albena, who emerged belatedly from the forest, spoke in a muffled voice.

She immediately set her sights on the opponent who similarly had a warrior’s physique.

As for Serdur, he discreetly took advantage of the trio attracting numerous eyes to approach the direction of Aaliyah and Ulfen, intending to carry out a rescue.

Having swiftly allocated targets.

Gauss swiftly vanished, hurrying toward the necromancer.

Facing Gauss’s obvious beheading tactic, the necromancer’s reaction was equally quick.
