Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 1046: Chapter 784: The Witch in Godric’s Hollow_3

After a brief moment of excitement, the atmosphere between them quickly fell silent again.

Then Lupin returned to the stage.

Fortunately, the host was well-experienced, directly ignoring the minor interruption and starting to recite the vows from the beginning.

”Ladies and gentlemen, today we gather here to celebrate the union of two faithful souls...”

”I didn’t expect them to be like this.” Fred, sitting to Kael’s left, suddenly muttered softly.

”What do you mean?” Kael asked.

”It’s about Lupin and his parents’ relationship.” said George on the other side.

”Is their relationship not good?”

”I wouldn’t say it’s bad.” Fred pondered, ”This was all more than thirty years ago.”

”Lupin’s father said some things that offended the Werewolf Fenrir Greyback, so Greyback broke into their home on a full moon night and bit the young Lupin.”

”Yeah.” Fred nodded. ”Because of this, Lupin’s father fell into deep self-punishment, becoming silent and reserved, and didn’t dare to speak with Lupin.”

”Added to Lupin’s werewolf identity, he also gradually became distant from his parents, and now it’s like this.”

Kael looked at the two in confusion, ”How do you know so much?”

”Of course, we eavesdropped.” Fred said matter-of-factly, ”Last night while they were chatting, we were outside listening for three hours. Lupin even said he was sure his parents wouldn’t come to the wedding.”

”But now it looks like he was wrong.” George said with a smile.

”Three hours?” Kael clicked his tongue, ”You guys really have time to spare.”

”Totally worth it, wasn’t it?” Fred raised an eyebrow, ”After all, at other times, they wouldn’t share such secrets with us.”

He then turned to look at the couple on stage.

”It’s wonderful, but it just seems too much trouble. When I get married, I’m definitely not letting one person go on endlessly on stage.”

”Like I said, you have to convince Mrs. Weasley first.” Kael said.

With the vows being read, some of the more sentimental people began to shed tears, Mrs. Weasley and Hermione kept wiping their eyes, Mrs. Lupin and Mrs. Tonks were also crying tears of joy, and there was a sound like a blaring trumpet coming from behind.

That was Hagrid, holding a cloth like a tablecloth to his face, the sound was coming from his nose.

”...I now pronounce you lifelong partners.”

Upon hearing this, Fred and George sprang up from their seats, taking out party poppers they’d prepared and setting them off over Lupin and Tonks’ heads.

This wasn’t leftover Christmas stock; they specially made them.

A shower of silver stars fell above them, along with various shaped flowers descending from above, all real flowers, and some had bees. They buzzed up in bewilderment and soon excitedly flew down towards the garden.

Then Kael also waved his wand, and the surrounding flowers began to grow wild, becoming as tall as people in the blink of an eye. Various furry little creatures jumped out from all directions, and three phoenixes landed behind the couple, singing a melodious song.

”That’s quite an impressive Transfiguration Technique.” remarked Professor McGonagall approvingly from the guest seats.

”Indeed.” Professor Sprout nodded, ”Though I think golden threaded flowers would be more suitable than orchids and roses, they are the most beautiful plants.”

The two professors discussed with interest.

”Hey, Kael, that wasn’t in the plan before.” Fred said discontentedly.

”Plus, you could make us look dumb.”

”Spur of the moment, don’t be mad.” Kael said cheerfully.

He had just thought of it, since it’s Lupin’s wedding, he couldn’t do nothing, so he spruced up the atmosphere.

And this unexpected scene drew cheers from the crowd.

Next, the garden turned into a dance floor, bands played lively music, and drinks like pumpkin juice, Butter Beer, and Flame Whiskey flew over from all directions, neatly placed on the tables.

”Pretty nice.” George said, taking a sip of Butter Beer, ”But I have a question.”

”What?” Fred asked.

”Who is that person?” George pointed.

Not far from them stood a hunched witch, who looked quite old, strangely out of place with the lively wedding scene.

”Don’t know.” Fred shook his head, ”Probably a neighbor from the area.”
