Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 1003: Chapter 770: Werewolf Act_2

At the same time, Newt thought of something else.

He naturally knew about the ”blood debt” but never paid much attention to it. After all, for a wizard living in his era, who could guarantee they’d never encounter danger? Just Grindelwald alone ignited a war across Europe; if you didn’t kill your enemy, you’d end up dead. It was inevitable.

The wizard war initiated by Voldemort over a decade ago was similar; these things are unavoidable.

Instinctively, he glanced at Kael.

No one would probably expect that after the war ended, a wizard who would wipe out with a Fiendfyre Curse without hesitation had Magic Power as clean as a blank sheet.

In a way, that’s also a scary thing... Luckily, the person in front of him was Kael; if it were anyone else, it would be hard to say whether Newt would do something.

”In the future, never say such things to others,” Newt couldn’t help but remind.

”Don’t worry, I know,” Kael said with a smile. Keeping such matters confidential was a must; he wouldn’t be foolish enough to spread it around.

Then Kael took two steps forward and stood in front of the werewolf wizard leader.

The Wampus Cat has two different talents: its blue eyes can perform Legilimency to see through the prey’s thoughts, but when its eyes turn purple, the Legilimency ability transforms into Hypnosis, which is also its unique means of attack.

Just now, this werewolf wizard was hypnotized by the Wampus Cat, snoring in his sleep, unbothered by the chaos around him.

At this moment, the Wampus Cat finished its steak and jumped over.

Kael extended his wand, and a water jet poured down on the opponent’s head.

”Puh... Damn... Who...”

The werewolf wizard jerked awake, finding himself bound tightly by a thick branch, unable to move despite his struggles.

And the ones who poured water on him were the two wizards he had just considered prey.

Past memories slowly resurfaced; he finally remembered what had happened earlier.

The fact that they still stood there unharmed meant others were all...

”Damn it, I’m going to kill you!” The werewolf wizard’s eyes turned red, growling as he struggled to bite Kael’s neck.

Kael took a step back in disdain.

”Don’t get excited, or I won’t mind asking someone else.”

The Wampus Cat also stepped forward just in time, revealing its sharp teeth.

The threat of the 5X Fantastic Beasts was effective; the werewolf wizard instinctively shut his mouth in fear.

He glared at Kael angrily.

”Who are you all!”

”Friends of Lupin,” Kael said. ”Remus Lupin, remember him? The one you almost killed recently; he used to be my Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, and we get along quite well.”

”He’s a traitor to the werewolves; he deserved to die!”

”Actually, I don’t care how you see him,” Kael shook his finger. ”Whether he’s a traitor to the werewolves or a friend doesn’t matter to me, and I have no time to bother with it.

”But you almost killed him... As his friends, it’s only fair for us to help him get revenge, right?”

”Ha, friends?” The opponent couldn’t help but scoff, as if hearing an amusing joke, his laughter escalating until tears came out.

”Do you take me for a naive child? Using such lousy excuses, friends? Hah, don’t joke; werewolves have no friends!

”Just be straightforward about your purpose, oh, and don’t tell jokes anymore; it makes you seem foolish.”

Kael remained silent for a moment, opting not to offer further explanation.

”Okay, if that’s what you think.”

”Just as you said earlier, I’ll ask, and you’ll answer. If your answers satisfy me, I can make your death a bit painless.”

”Very fair.” The werewolf wizard grinned: ”But I’ll refuse. Use whatever tricks you want, but don’t think you’ll get any information from me.”

”Don’t say that; it makes me sound like some kind of villain.”

Kael pondered, then asked, ”So the first question, what’s your name, and who ordered you to attack Lupin?”

”I said you wouldn’t...”

The werewolf wizard hadn’t finished his sentence when the Wampus Cat let out a whimpering sound.

Then Kael nodded, ”Oh, Yaxley? So it’s him commanding you werewolves, right?”

A flash of panic crossed the werewolf wizard’s eyes, ”What are you talking about, I don’t know, I don’t know any Yaxley!”

”You’re not very good at lying,” Kael said calmly. ”And all you werewolves, taking orders from a wizard... tsk, tsk, I have to say, Yorman, you’re far worse than Greyback.”

”Damn it... How do you know my name, and you...”

Kael waved his hand, stopping him from continuing, and proceeded to ask, ”Where’s that Yaxley!”

”I’ve already said, I won’t...”

”Oh, Spinner’s End, so that’s where you received the order to kill Lupin.”

”You, you...” The werewolf wizard Yorman’s panic turned into fear.

That feeling was just like facing the Dark Lord, with everything laid bare.

”Are there many Death Eaters there? Is the You-Know-Who there too?” Kael continued to ask.

Yorman decisively fell silent, but even so, that terrifying voice didn’t stop.
