Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 332: Chapter 330: Prophecy

Kael was naturally very happy to receive full marks without having to take the exam.

Although it was a pity about that book ”Advanced Potion Making,” Kael had already read it three times, and all the notes had been transcribed into a new book, so it didn’t matter if he returned it to Snape.

...

By the third day of exam week, there were only two courses left.

Kael set off early in the morning to the top of the North Tower, ready for the Divination Class exam.

Divination Class has a trick—even if you haven’t read a single word of the book and don’t understand a thing, as long as the result you say pleases Professor Trelawney, you can still get a high score.

Kael leaned over to gaze at the crystal ball.

”What do you see...” Professor Trelawney asked, her face grim, clearly displeased that Kael hadn’t attended class all semester.

Maybe giving him a very low score would make him realize how important Divination is... Professor Trelawney thought silently.

”Hmm...” Kael pressed his nose against the crystal ball, ”I see a figure...”

”What does it look like?” Professor Trelawney asked softly, ”Think about it...”

”Very tall with a beard...

”It’s Professor Dumbledore!” Kael said confidently.

”The Headmaster!” Professor Trelawney murmured, somewhat surprised.

”Yes, it’s Professor Dumbledore.” Kael whispered: ”He looks very downcast, hunched over, walking down a street... Houses on both sides, but no one opens their doors for him, everyone has turned him away.”

”Are you sure, dear?” Professor Trelawney eagerly recorded on the parchment: ”Did you really see Headmaster Dumbledore?”

”I’m sure, Professor.”

Kael said confidently, ”He looks like an unwelcome venomous spider.”

”Alright, dear, that’s enough... incredible... you have the talent to be a prophet.” Professor Trelawney said with delight, ”But Divination is a profound subject, talent isn’t enough, remember to attend classes in the future.”

Kael smiled and nodded and was about to leave when he suddenly heard a loud, piercing voice from behind.

”Tonight...”

Kael turned around and saw Professor Trelawney sitting rigidly on the armchair, eyes blank, mouth open.

Her eyes rolled wildly, her body twitching involuntarily, the crystal ball on the table glowed faintly, reflecting her image.

Then, Professor Trelawney spoke again, in the same piercing voice.

”The Dark Lord lies alone, his deepest secret discovered.

Tonight, the Dark Lord begins his path to death... but will be reborn again... with his... most powerful... weapon...”

Professor Trelawney’s head dropped to her chest, making a low, gurgling sound, then suddenly, her head lifted again.

”Sorry, dear child.” she said dizzily, ”The weather is too hot, you know, I just took a nap...”

”Yeah, Professor, you’re too tired.” Kael said with a smile.

He glanced at the crystal ball on the table, ”Professor, I suddenly found what you said to be really true. To be able to practice Divination regularly, can I buy this crystal ball... or borrow it for a holiday?”

Professor Trelawney didn’t quite understand, but still nodded, ”If it’s borrowing... of course you can, but remember to return it, crystal balls are very expensive.”

”No problem, Professor.” Kael picked up the crystal ball on the table, ”I’ll return it next semester, I promise it will be as good as new.”

As Kael walked down the stairs, he kept looking at the crystal ball in his hand...

Professor Trelawney had clearly made a genuine prophecy earlier, and this crystal ball had recorded everything.

But what does that mean.

Voldemort’s greatest secret must be the Soul Artifact, it makes sense that the diary was destroyed and he began his path to death.

But what is the most powerful weapon... Kael thought of many possibilities.

But five minutes later, he put the crystal ball away.

Prophecies are meant to be listened to, but absolutely shouldn’t be deeply explored, Voldemort believed that prophecy so much that he ended up in his current situation... a lesson from the past.

...

In the afternoon, Kael completed the final Magic History exam on the third floor.

In the castle, people walked to the grounds, talking and laughing, enjoying a bit of long-awaited freedom.

Kael also planned to visit Hagrid, but before he walked a few steps, someone suddenly stopped him.

”Kael... do you have a moment?”

It was Lockhart, standing at the door of his office.

”Is there something you need, Professor?” Kael asked.

”Just interested in a few things.” Lockhart opened the office door, ”Come in, don’t worry, I won’t take up too much of your time.”

”Alright.” Kael nodded, agreeing.

The office walls were covered with countless frames, all with Lockhart’s self-portraits, some even signed.

The desk was piled with a stack of photos.

”Have a seat.” He pointed to a soft and wide chair, ”Want a drink, tea, whiskey... I think a little whiskey once in a while is okay, at least here, no third person will know.”

”No need, Professor, I’ll help myself.” Kael tapped the desk three times with his fingers and clearly called out: ”Lemonade.”

This was a method he learned from Professor Dumbledore—tapping the desk three times can communicate with the kitchen.

Soon, a large glass of lemonade appeared in front of Kael.

”Oh!” Lockhart looked a bit surprised.

”Remarkable.” He said, ”I dare say, at this age, no young wizard is more talented than you.”

”It’s just a little trick to get food from the kitchen.” Kael said, ”I’m sure you can do it too, Professor.”

”Of course, I knew that when I first came here.” Lockhart showed his gleaming teeth, ”Although the whiskey the school provides is a bit ordinary, it’s nice to change taste once in a while.”

Kael nodded, not telling him that the kitchen doesn’t provide any alcoholic beverages.

”Professor, is there something you need?”

”Almost forgot the main thing.” Lockhart sat opposite Kael, and said with interest: ”I’m very interested in your experience in that Chamber of Secret, and want to write it into my new book.”

”Can you tell me the details, including how you discovered the Chamber of Secret... how you met the Four Founders...”

Lockhart said excitedly: ”People from a thousand years ago reappearing in Hogwarts, goodness, I have a feeling this will be my best work, our names will spread throughout the Magic Realm...”

”Will I be included in that book?” Kael asked in surprise.

”Of course, you’re the most important part.” Lockhart said in a low voice.

”But I already talked about it in the Headmaster’s Office.” Kael frowned, ”You were there.”

”I’m looking for details, these experiences are indispensable.”

Lockhart said patiently: ”Alright, let me ask, you just need to answer.

First, what did you think after discovering the Chamber of Secret.”

”Incredible right, very shocked...” Kael thought for a moment and said.

”And your first reaction when you saw the Basilisk?”

”Incredible right, very shocked...”

”What about when you saw the Four Founders appear?”

”Incredi...”

”Change it!”

”Alright, very surprised.”
