Re-Awakened :I Ascend as an SSS-Ranked Dragon Summoner

The violent shaking in Sophie’s thighs gradually slowed to a dull, heavy tremor, her forehead pressing flat against the damp mattress as her chest heaved. The room smelled thick of sex, sweat, and that sweet, electric aura that always followed Noah’s draconic heat. He didn’t pull out immediately; he simply collapsed over her back, his heartbeat hammering a frantic rhythm against her shoulder blades while the last of his release pulsed inside her tight, twitching walls.

For a long time, neither of them moved. The distant harbor lights outside the hotel window cast a quiet, amber glow across their tangled limbs.

”Noah,” Sophie finally breathed, her voice a scratchy, spent whisper against the pillow. ”If you don’t move your weight, I think I’m going to become a permanent fixture of this mattress.”

Noah let out a low, gravelly chuckle, the draconic glow finally fading from his skin, leaving behind a deep, bone-weary exhaustion. He carefully slid out of her with a soft, wet sound that made Sophie let out a tiny, involuntary whimper. He rolled to his side, pulling her along with him until she was tucked against his chest. Her skin was burning hot and covered in a fine sheen of sweat, her dark hair stuck to her cheeks in messy, damp clumps.

”Come here,” Noah murmured, his voice thick. He reached down and hooked his arms beneath her knees and behind her back, lifting her off the bed in one smooth motion.

Sophie gasped slightly, instinctively wrapping her arms around his neck, her head dropping heavily onto his shoulder. ”What are you doing?”

”You said your legs felt like liquid,” Noah said, carrying her bare body across the dark room toward the bathroom. ”I’m taking care of you.”

He stepped into the spacious bathroom, kicking the door shut with his heel to trap the warmth inside. The space was sleek, lined with dark marble and featuring a large, glass-enclosed walk-in shower with a rainfall head, alongside a deep, freestanding tub. Noah set her down gently on the tiled ledge of the tub, then reached over to turn on the shower. He adjusted the handles until the water was a perfect, steaming mist, filling the room with comforting white fog within seconds.

He didn’t rush. The manic urgency of the previous hour had entirely burned away, replaced by a deep, protective tenderness. He stepped under the spray first, letting the hot water drench his white hair and wash the sweat from his shoulders. Then, he reached out his hands to Sophie.

”Come inside,” he said softly.

Sophie stood up, her knees visibly wobbling for a split second before she stepped into the enclosure. The moment the hot water hit her skin, she let out a long, shuddering sigh, her shoulders dropping as the tension from the entire chaotic week finally began to melt away. She stepped directly into Noah’s space, leaning her forehead against his wet chest, her arms looping loosely around his waist.

Noah reached for a bottle of luxury body wash sitting on the marble shelf. He poured a generous amount of the thick, amber-scented gel into his palms, rubbing his hands together until a rich, creamy lather formed.

”Turn around,” he whispered, his breath warm against her wet ear.

Sophie obeyed, turning her back to him, her head tilting forward as the rainfall shower streamed over her face and shoulders. Noah stepped up close behind her, his large, calloused hands coming down on the curve of her neck. He began to work the soap into her skin using slow, deliberate, circular motions. He massaged the tight muscles of her shoulders, his thumbs digging gently into the knots she’d been carrying since the faction briefing that day, tracing the elegant line of her spine down to her lower back.

Sophie let out a soft, purring sound, her body relaxing entirely against his front. ”You’re dangerously good at this, Eclipse.”

”Just getting started,” Noah murmured.

His soapy hands slid around her ribs, moving to the front of her body. He gathered more lather and carefully cupped the weight of her breasts. The contrast between his large, rough hands and the incredibly soft, yielding flesh of her mounds was striking in the steam. He washed her slowly, his palms sweeping over the curves, his thumbs lightly tracing the edges of her deep cherry-red nipples, which were soft now, yielding to his gentle touch. There was no aggression in the movement, no demand for sex—just a slow, reverent appreciation of her body.

He rinsed his hands under the spray, then reached for the shampoo. He applied it to her dark hair, his fingers working through the strands, massaging her scalp with a steady, soothing rhythm that made Sophie’s eyelids drop to half-mast. She felt entirely safe, completely insulated from the rest of the cardinal, from the streams, and from the heavy weight of leading Eclipse.

When it was time to rinse, Sophie turned around to face him under the water. As the stream washed the soap down her body, she stepped forward and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck. She pulled herself flush against him, burying her face in the crook of his shoulder. Noah’s arms instantly locked around her waist, holding her securely against his chest.

The sensation was dizzying.

Her bare breasts were pressed flat against his chest, her soft stomach rubbing against his, their wet skin creating an intense, sealing heat between them. The water cascaded over both of them, but the warmth radiating from their bodies felt entirely independent of the shower. It was deeply romantic, a quiet communion of two people who had belonged to each other long before the world knew their names.

Noah held her tight, his hand gently stroking the wet hair down her back, occasionally pressing a soft kiss to her wet shoulder. ”I’ve got you,” he whispered into the steam. ”I’m not going anywhere.”

Sophie squeezed him tighter, her breath catching slightly. ”I know. Just let me stay like this for a minute.”

They stood there under the falling water for what felt like hours, simply breathing together, letting the quiet intimacy patch over the lingering exhaustion in their souls.

Eventually, the water began to turn slightly cooler. Noah reached over and shut off the valve, the sudden silence in the bathroom heavy and thick. He grabbed two large, plush white towels from the rack. He wrapped one completely around Sophie’s hair, twisting it expert-level atop her head, and used the second to gently pat her body dry. He wiped the water from her shoulders, her chest, and her legs with a slow, meticulous care that made her skin tingle.

As the water vanished from her skin, the nature of the touch began to subtly shift. The pure, clean romance of the shower started to tilt, heavy and inevitable, back toward lust.

Noah’s hand lingered on her hip as he dried her, his thumb rubbing against the small red marks his fingers had left there earlier. Sophie noticed the change in his eyes—the way the dark pupils dilated slightly, the way his gaze dropped to her mouth. Her own breath hitched, a familiar, sweet ache blooming deep in her lower stomach.

”Noah,” she murmured, her hands coming up to rest on his bare, damp chest.

”Let’s get to the bed,” he said, his voice dropping into a low register that made her knees feel weak all over again.

He didn’t carry her this time. They walked out of the steamy bathroom together, their skin warm and clean, stepping back into the cool, air-conditioned air of the bedroom. The bed was a mess of tangled sheets, so Noah simply pulled the plush, heavy duvet flat and led her onto the center of it.

The sex this time was entirely different from the frantic, bruising encounter from before. The urgency was gone, replaced by a deep, languid sensuality that stretched out every touch.

Noah lay down on his back, pulling Sophie on top of him. She straddled his hips, her bare skin feeling incredibly smooth and warm against his. Her hair was still wrapped in the towel, making her look uniquely soft and domestic. She leaned down, resting her forearms on either side of his head, her dark eyes looking down into his with a heavy, unshielded devotion.

”Slow,” she whispered, her lips brushing his. ”I want to feel everything this time.”

”As slow as you want,” Noah replied, his hands moving up to clasp her waist, his thumbs smoothing over her hip bones.

Sophie lifted her hips slightly, guiding his rigid cock to her wet, clean entrance. She lowered herself down inch by inch, letting out a long, trembling groan as her tight walls stretched around him once more. Because they were moving so slowly, the sensation was magnified tenfold. Every single ridge of his shaft felt massive inside her, filling her to the absolute brink. She paused when he was fully buried, her head dropping onto his shoulder as she rode out the intense wave of fullness.

Noah didn’t push up into her. He kept his lower half completely still, allowing her body to adjust. His hands traveled up her back, his fingers tracing her shoulder blades before moving to the sides of her neck, gently holding her as she began to move.

Sophie started a lazy, rolling rhythm. She lifted her hips just a few inches before sliding back down, her pelvis grinding smoothly against his. It was sweet and incredibly intense, a steady friction that sent deep, warm waves of pleasure radiating through both of them.

”Noah... oh, god,” Sophie panted, her eyes closing as she rhythmically rocked on him.

Her breasts moved in a gentle, hypnotic sway above him, the soft mounds shifting with her slow pace. Noah reached up, his large hands gently cradling them, his fingers brushing over her cherry nipples, which were slowly hardening again under his touch. He didn’t squeeze or pinch them harshly like before; instead, he rolled them softly between his fingertips, matching the slow, romantic tempo she was setting.

Sophie let out a string of soft, breathless moans, her head tilting back, her neck forming a beautiful arch in the amber light. She was completely fluid, her waist moving with a natural, sensual grace that felt entirely cooperative rather than competitive. Noah watched her face, captivated by the pure pleasure writing itself across her features—the slight parting of her swollen lips, the flush on her cheeks, the way her chest heaved with every slow slide.

He reached up, hooking his hands behind her thighs, gently guiding her movements to deepen the penetration. He began to lift his hips slightly from below, meeting her downward strokes with a smooth, steady upward push. The sound of their coupling was quiet now, just a soft, rhythmic whisper of skin against skin and the wet friction of their joining.

”You’re so beautiful, Sophie,” Noah murmured, his voice full of an absolute sincerity that made her eyes snap open.

She looked down at him, her gaze soft and watery with a sudden rush of emotion. She didn’t say anything; she simply leaned down and pressed her lips to his in a deep, lingering kiss that tasted entirely of devotion. As their mouths melted together, their lower halves continued that slow, perfect rhythm, their bodies completely in sync, moving as a single entity in the quiet room.

The pleasure built a slow, steady fire deep within Noah’s core. It wasn’t the explosive, volatile draconic heat from before, but a deep, radiating warmth that felt like it could last forever. He could feel her internal walls gently pulsing around him, slick and incredibly welcoming, milking him with every lazy stroke.

Sophie’s movements began to speed up just a fraction, the friction finally pushing her toward the edge again. Her breaths came in short, tiny gasps against his mouth, her fingers digging into his shoulders as her upper body began to tremble.

”Noah... it’s coming,” she whispered into the kiss, her voice fractured. ”Don’t... don’t stop.”

”I’m right here,” he whispered back, his hips executing three deep, slow, intentional plunges that drove straight to the center of her heat.

Sophie let out a long, quivering moan, her entire body locking up as a sweet, gentle climax washed over her. She didn’t scream or thrash; she simply clung to his neck, her internal muscles tightening around him in a long, sustained squeeze that was incredibly intense. The sheer, tight perfection of her release was enough to pull Noah over the edge. He let out a low groan, his hips giving one final, deep thrust upward as he came inside her, filling her deep with a warm, steady release that left them both completely spent.

Sophie collapsed flat onto his chest, her head resting just beneath his chin, her legs still loosely wrapped around his waist. The towel had finally slipped from her hair, her damp, dark locks spreading across his shoulder like silk.

Noah wrapped his arms around her back, pulling the heavy, plush duvet up over both of their bare shoulders to shield them from the cool air of the room. They lay there in the quiet afterglow, the steady rise and fall of their chests the only movement in the space.

A soft, lazy chuckle escaped Sophie’s lips against his chest.

”What?” Noah asked, a tired smile tugging at his mouth as he smoothed his hand down her back.

”Nothing,” she murmured, her voice incredibly sleepy. ”Just... thinking about how Kelvin is probably losing his mind trying to build a plan with the Dreamers right now, and we’re hiding out in a hotel room.”

Noah laughed softly, the sound rumbling in his chest beneath her head. ”Kelvin can handle it for one night. He’s fueled by pride and a scary amount of curiosity anyway.”

”True,” Sophie whispered, her eyes drifting shut as she snuggled deeper into his warmth. ”Goodnight, Noah.”

”Goodnight, Soph,” he replied, pressing one final, gentle kiss to her forehead.

Outside the window, the harbor lights continued their slow, patient dance against the dark water, completely indifferent to the chaos of the world outside, as two of the core members of Eclipse finally drifted into a deep, dreamless sleep, completely entangled in each other’s arms.
