The air wrapping the body, the bearing, probably makes think that is natural.

In contrast the woman before the eyes does not have that.

Only power.

Only the out-of-bounds power named magical power harboring in that body seems real. Niekawa instinctively understood ’he cannot win against this woman’.

”...But if ’another logic’?”

Whether knowing Niekawa’s inner heart or not the mouse-eared woman took out one sword from inside the skirt.

How on earth was it contained. A single-edged sword with a blade about one meter.

For an instant he associated a Japanese sword, but for that the blade is thick.

A form like a green-dragon sword but no guard, no decoration seeming decoration. But the polished blade, the white transparent ivory hilt, make the viewer think transparent beauty.

”In the meaning evil spreads it is a close world, but in this world mob is ’cannot intervene because power is weak’, and a world’s mob is ’cannot intervene because mental power is insufficient’.”

Similar yet different.

The woman smiles. Staring this way straight, kusu-kusu.

”You maybe can master, I think?”

That voice.

Seeming a devil’s whisper reached Niekawa’s ears.

Suspicious beyond.

Should not ride this kind of invitation.

Reason is shouting so.

”...Until a little while ago if Alter-san I would not have been stingy cooperating. But because he lost her as the original.”

”I am.”

He does not understand what she is saying.

But the gaze, the hand, unconsciously moved.

Even if a devil’s invitation fine, if able to overturn this current state with that. The right hand he stretched thinking so to the sword’s hilt.

’If able to remain a proper human that side is better decided. Stop the foolish imitation of making me a sample.’

Right before touching.

Niekawa pulled that hand.

He powerfully glares at the mouse woman’s face putting on a suspicious expression.

”...Strange. Niekawa Kazuki-san, was it not that you wanted and wanted and could not help? ’Power’.”

”Unfortunately I do not want to ruin riding a devil’s invitation.”

Wanting power is true.

He was told that by Atel Octo, but there is thirst for power to a degree he thinks if unable to do anything remaining a proper human changing is not bad either.

Deciding his own path is always himself. If necessary becoming a monster is not bad either.

But words of one who became another something. He must deeply carve in the chest and act.

And he could not think at all the end of one who sought power thoughtlessly is happiness.

Therefore.

”I cannot trust you. If for a reason I am necessary first exhaust words how.”

This woman intended to use Niekawa.

No intention of coordinating at all, intended to give only the weapon and watch from high.

That sword has a strange attraction.

Even now glaring at the woman this way the desire of cutting this kind of conversation and grabbing that sword does not vanish.

Ah! That is power! A thing Niekawa Kazuki sought! Now immediately take this in hand and head to the fight...! He is self-aware of himself shouting so in the heart.

Precisely because of that caution wells more. What is this thinking, not proper.

That sword is nine times out of ten a kind of evil sword or demonic sword talked in legends or stories. Since there were other worlds and magic that kind of thing existing is not strange.

Surely a powerful weapon. But how can he trust an opponent who tries to push without even properly talking the demerit.

Of course the other party’s real ability is higher. If doing this kind of quarrelsome correspondence and damaging the mood there is also a possibility of being killed.

(But what about that.)

He does not want to die, but as a result of obediently following here there was a possibility of ruining together with the surroundings not only Niekawa. At least Niekawa is thinking so seeing this woman.

Therefore he had no intention of breaking here.

The two who stared for a while, the one who broke was the woman’s side.

She let out a sigh fuu and performs a grand curtsy.

”Mouse-san is called Mouse-san, please know.”

”...Mouse, as seen.”

”Mouse-san, desu yo?”

”Unfortunately I cannot acknowledge you to a degree of attaching an honorific.”

”Is that so, then cannot be helped.”

Saying that she let a regrettable color seep in the pupils she narrowed sleepily.

Even that he ends up feeling somewhat false. If she holds guilt or something she would be easier to pull in. That kind of calculating expression.

Seeing Niekawa’s expression becoming stern Mouse once largely let out a sigh.

”Compared to Atel Octo-san careful. Well, if not so there is no worth of coming to meet.”

”...What?”

In front of Niekawa confused at the name of the Vigilante who saved him coming out Mouse quietly started talking.

”...I omit detailed circumstances, but Mouse-san had the future determined by ’an existence not here’ from far before.”

Mouse talks.

Seeking a happy future fleeing around, sometimes assisting ally of justice, sometimes selling flattery to villains and somehow securing a survival zone. In the end everything ruined and fleeing while biting teeth, those repeating days.

In that kind of, while desperately fleeing she perceived an existence of another world.

In that kind of she met Atel Octo who ’has a soul of the same world as an existence not here’.

With his power she could break away from the determined future.

But she cannot say at all good this solves.

Because he is weak.

Only that still, because he was not a type whose head turns that much either.

She does not intend to make light of results until now, but that is only because of knowledge of the ’determined future’.

Current he is insufficient in power whatever he does. Combat ability and schemes third-rate. If Alter had not been wary of awakening he would have died without even holding out until Sacred’s help comes.

Then there is no reason to cling to him either?

”...I do not understand even one detailed thing.”

Niekawa who heard Mouse’s words closed his eyes and organizes information.

Existence not here or such, information of Atel Octo who is a close existence to that. Now does not matter.

”In other words because freed from some restraint searching for an opponent more reliable than him, that kind of thing.”

”Yes... Niekawa Kazuki-san, will you not help Mouse-san?”

Mouse stretches the right hand and smiles.

Though he felt calculation in that gesture even so the fleeting smile makes him dokiri.

Even though looks are quite a younger woman, behavior that makes hold protective desire or shelter desire, yet makes hold base passion of ’precisely because of that want to pin down’.

Mouse’s mouth corner slightly raises.

Because ’a man of a degree hooked by Livy’ she can captivate with this.

Niekawa steps one step toward Mouse.

”...Don’t screw around.”

Bashin.

Niekawa repelled her palm by force.

Ah, the feeling of ’want help’ is probably real. At least Niekawa thought only that emotion is truth.

There is something hard, there is something sad, to overturn that she is acting seeking salvation.

Precisely because of that he gets angry more.

”Make fun of people moderate, who would reach a hand of salvation to the likes of you.”

”...”

Mouse’s pupils were narrowed.

Not the sleepy pupils she was showing until just now, pupils as if clicking the tongue inside ’no good with this’.

She is surely thinking this way.

’Trusting a woman Magician Diabolic just met, trying to protect.’

’I see, whatever the surrounding evaluation this man is weak to women.’

’Then easy to control.’

’Same as always.’

Until now she has been getting close to others that way and securing a safe zone.

Seems a kind of poisonous woman captivating men, but he does not say the act itself is bad.

As a result of the environment and her own ability there are also times it becomes so. What she has been doing to live a man named Niekawa who was living in peaceful Japan should not lightly criticize.

Therefore the reason Niekawa is angry is not because judged ’an easy-to-deal-with man’.

”Without talking the true heart cutting him who would have become power as ’weak’, now wagging the tail at me. Is that the attitude of one who wants to be saved.”

This woman calling herself Mouse from fearing risk too much is doing ’reset-gacha of someone who saves’.

This guy no good, he personality aside ability no good, this side has combat ability but has a problem in personality, this man has no ability but if giving special equipment maybe one chance... and.

”Without doing any action herself picking and choosing someone who saves, arbitrarily disappointed as I thought no good. Even the name Mouse unfitting, a bat coward neither.”

What kind of intention are you. Niekawa glared at Mouse.

In contrast what Mouse put on is an expression of confusion.

”...In the meaning cannot trust I think Livy Ido was also the same?”

Toward a probing question he answers while returning her pupils straight.

”Livy in the first place probably had no experience of a hand of salvation reached. Precisely because of that she took my hand, precisely because of that I thought I want to respond. There is self-awareness it is beyond my place, but if she saw hope in my figure I want to continue being her hope in the range I can... I am thinking so.”

Livy Ido.

Remora’s Magician Diabolic.

Even she could have picked and chosen the other party like Mouse.
