Tentacle Monster Reincarnation: I Will Protect the Heroines

[A/N: If you are enjoying the story till now, consider supporting it with golden tickets, power stones, gifts or reviews. It will help the story a lot! :]

The whole body trembles, even breathing is not free.

Why, why, why. Only if she herself endures...!

(For someone, for everyone, for close people. I must work hard.)

Power for that, right?

Light for that, right?

What has she been working hard for until now? To protect someone, right!

And yet what is this appearance.

I hate it scary hard help. What is that, not an emotion Leas Lott should hold.

Therefore quickly must transform.

Transform, together with Knight, fight Magician Diabolic.

What passes the mind is the figure of a young man with an old man’s voice.

She associates the hard hot sensation pressed to the abdomen.

The heart stubborn like ice she created aiming for an unshakable hero of light melted from warm days like spring sunlight. Unlike the days she continued driving herself that she must do alone, comrades increased, friends were made. She was happy.

But as a result of ice melting what was exposed is a woman’s heart fragile fitting her age.

If until around April. If the time the heart was still stubborn she should have endured that, but current Leas Lott could not endure.

”Leas!? What, Leas...!”

”Na, nothing, nothing, Grace, I, I also.”

The mouth trying to say fight. As if physically plugging gastric juice overflowed from inside.

Disgusting, the body trembles, cannot stand.

While scattering dirty things bicha-bicha Leas almost collapses on the spot, and Knight holds that body.

”Sorry, onee-chan.”

Collapsing.

The self she had been wishing to be so until now.

”...I became this weak...”

Hard, sad, pathetic, tears did not stop.

She cannot swing the sword thoughtlessly like the past.

She does not seem able to pierce ally of justice someone like until now either.

At the point she became one woman who cherishes her own happiness the idol named Sacred Saber collapsed.

(Ah. I, I am...)

Better if violated in that place.

Better if dirtied messily.

If she fell to the very bottom resignation would have attached.

If dirtied once second and third unrelated, maybe she could have cut that way.

”...Be relieved.”

Gyu the body is hugged powerfully.

To a degree painful, strongly strongly. As if relieving Leas, and desperately suppressing anger toward herself Knight showed a smile full of confidence as usual.

”After I will somehow. Therefore now rest slowly.”

”B, ut.”

”Fine, believe your sister. When this disturbance ends let’s talk slowly. ...Fine, Leas. Whatever decision you put down, Leas Lott is my precious junior, little sister.”

She who said in a gentle voice laid Leas on the bed then ran out.

To the place Alter is.

The hateful opponent who abducted the princess a year ago and humiliated. An opponent she must fight as Sacred, must defeat, is closing right there, and yet.

”Why. I am.”

She is this relieved.

Scared of being said ’Sacred Saber’s power is necessary’.

Ah. No good.

The ideal she has aimed at shattered to pieces, already does not seem able to return to original.

◇

Beside the medical room’s door.

In an empty corridor Niekawa Kazuki was standing still alone.

The reason he came here is simple and clear. From the state of Adre and Livy he perceived some large fight starts, and thought of protecting Leas still losing consciousness.

He has no power to fight.

But he thought he can at least do the help of making a situation easy for those who can fight to fight.

If damage reaches the building from the aftermath of combat Leas still losing consciousness cannot flee. Then he thought male hands who can shoulder and flee at a crucial time are necessary. Fortunately the body is trained. Though Leas is taller than average he is not a soft man who collapses from that.

Thus he acted moving as help to everyone in the range he can without doing unreasonable.

”...I became this weak...”

He was present at that scene.

Desperately trying to keep up, yet the appearance collapsing boro-boro from the start.

The crying voice of the transformation heroine of justice who hopelessly collapsed.

Niekawa slowly turned his heel.

Now he cannot intrude that place.

Because that is like thrusting at an opponent that cornered ’because you moved lightly the secret was exposed’.

Therefore leaving the place as if hearing nothing.

”Damn!”

He punched the building’s wall by force.

Because he could not process the emotions raging in himself.

”Why can I do nothing...!”

He does not intend to belittle himself.

Doing what should be done, leaving what should be left, natural.

Everyone has aptitude. Stating man how or woman how at the presence or absence of aptitude to fight is ridiculous.

But. Hide behind a woman cornered that far?

Yes, even if Livy or Adre, and Knight are broken. Leas, Sacred Saber would desperately head to the battlefield even from that state.

Wrapping the already broken armor, for everyone, for someone, saying so swing the sword.

What is that, screwing around.

In what world is there a man who stands a woman crying I hate it I am scared at the forefront.

Regardless of suited or not that kind of imitation is a demon’s deed, inferior even to a beast.

Therefore should go forward and fight. The heart continues shouting so. Always, always, from before now.

But reality was ruthless to the end.

From the fist he punched the wall leaving to anger and unworthiness blood is dripping. On the wall not even a crack entered.

Natural. There is no way to use materials of that degree of strength that easily break with a human’s full power on a building.

Therefore Niekawa Kazuki who is Earth’s human unable to punch and break a wall is natural. If this were a world-level martial artist the talk might be different, but Niekawa though trained is only a human. Impossible things are impossible.

But those fighting ’this degree’ anyone can do.

Even that Atel Octo, even he whose combat ability falls several stages, dozens of stages from Sacred, can punch and break a wall.

Niekawa losing to a concrete wall the likes if going forward only dies. Far from becoming someone’s help only pulls feet and ruins.

That kind of thing he fully understands.

No need to be said by someone. He understands. He understands. He understands understands understands. But even so.

”Why am I...!”

Why is he this powerless.

Was useful in the fight with Livy? Therefore can participate in the fight from now? No way.

That was because a plan of sealing Sacred using a hostage. Because Niekawa who was powerless fitting Earth’s human could finish without killing the charmed man it went well.

Even under that kind of condition if Livy struggled like crazy, if she put out full power to defeat Sacred or flee. Niekawa who was forward would have easily died.

That was because she was seeking salvation. Precisely because of that she took the hand of a man named Niekawa Kazuki, and in the meaning of fighting power still remains useless.

Kill, be killed. In that kind of fight the man named Niekawa Kazuki is only a powerless ordinary mob.

”...Do you not want power?”

On his back twisting his face at an answerless self-question-and-answer a drawn-out voice was thrown.

A voice he has not heard. A voice like a young woman.

”With you however you struggle you cannot fight. ’Justice loses, evil spreads’... since observed and determined that way, however much you effort in that logic it is meaningless.”

He turns.

What was there was one woman.

About upper grades of elementary school maybe. Brown skin and voluminous gray hair extended to the back. Her figure wearing a navy apron dress seems like cosplay.

(...What.)

Yes, cosplay. Not real, there is a smell of kept up.

The two mouse ears moving piku-piku, the thin long tail swaying yura-yura tell she is not only a cosplaying girl, but if even that were not there Niekawa might have judged only cosplay.

Different from other ones. Certainly Sacred and Magician Diabolics are wrapped in costumes not fitting modern Japan, but even so he does not think cannot think a out-of-place cosplay group.
