Tentacle Monster Reincarnation: I Will Protect the Heroines

”We will not join.”

After Knuckle finished taking a shower Doris declared that.

Knight is at the school.

Even though she knew that fact via multiple students’ SNS.

”M, may I hear the reason?”

Knuckle who washed away mucus and made a fresh start, now together with everyone, that kind of spirit, timidly asked.

I understand the feeling. Frankly even I was full of intention to join.

Honestly the members in this place are not very strong. Inexperienced Knuckle and insufficient-spec Arrow of course, and me inferior in both.

Therefore joining high-combat-ability Knight, or if possible Saber whose location she is currently fighting is unknown, is best, I thought, but Doris’s thinking seems different.

”The reason is three. First, even if we join we will not be greatly useful. If properly fighting even Knight is excessive fighting power. Even if we join it is error, error.”

Recall the Gain fight, Doris says that while continuing information gathering.

Certainly in the aspect of combat ability the two Saber and Knight stand out even among Sacred. The figure of overwhelming the enemy’s strongest fighting power is new in my memory too.

Since one of them is at the school, in the meaning of fighting power we are error. I see, that I can understand.

But the enemy also understands that so they should not try to fight properly. At that kind of time there is anxiety whether those two can resist the enemy’s plots.

”Next, Knight’s location is exposed, and our location is not exposed.”

Doris talks. If a Magician Diabolic intends to fight Knight corresponding preparation is needed.

Concentrate fighting power, gather hostages, and on top of that challenge a fight, otherwise it becomes Gain’s second, but that kind of act inevitably stands out.

Then strike there.

Pierce the back desperately preparing, Doris talks. Even worst if they cannot defeat, if they can only ruin the enemy’s preparation no problem, with only that the other party becomes unable to defeat Knight.

”Of course there is also a possibility of not gathering fighting power and lurking somewhere or fleeing, but that is convenient in its own way. At that time we hunt.”

Doris looks at me and Knuckle and smiled confidently.

She says that, but is it fine?

Certainly while Knuckle was taking a shower I talked Magician Diabolic specs.

I cannot think Alter flees, and Livy apparently is Knight’s prisoner. Then remaining is predicted to be Koito.

...Honestly an opponent I have no memory of particularly struggling in the original game, but that does not mean that guy’s specs are low.

The ability of the Magician Diabolic named Koito Tuse is a thing like making a Tentacle Monster Villain aggressive and jumping status to boss level. Attacks using the tongue are quite painful, and if a darkness-fallen Sacred takes an attack in a defenseless state magical power is sucked and transformation is released.

Well that said in the original it ends with group beating.

Latter half of the game with many allies, even if one or two become unable to fight, beating together with other comrades wins. In the original an opponent of that degree.

A memory of struggling, around when on first play darkness-fallen Saber had transformation released and from lack of attackers the fight prolonged.

But now is different.

We are not commanding many Monster Villains like original Alter. Two Sacred and me one, that degree is probably insufficient to crush that guy, and if either Arrow or Knuckle has transformation released we cannot protect and checkmate.

Whether knowing my anxiety or not Doris moved the topic to next with finally one.

”Talk of what Alter is doing. Honestly I am most scared of this.”

Alter Native.

To erase Vigilante Atel Octo he held Saber and Knight, but I am alive like this.

That guy’s intention collapsed, by reinforcements from Calmate.

Is that not a thing to rejoice, I think, but Doris’s thinking seems different.

”For how early he cut short the overthrow of Atel Octo he made most priority, there is no sign of doing other things... strange, right? Since the initial purpose was crushed moving with the next-best plan is natural.”

If the first plan is crushed there is no more next hand. That is not a strategist but just thoughtless, Doris says that and folds her arms.

Certainly. In fact April’s Alter while using a plan to frame-kill Saber and Knuckle had prepared a means of flight for just in case. He had taken a safety measure for if the plan collapsed in some form.

And now that guy strengthened his own force in Remora and went on the offensive. He judged he can win and challenged a match.

And yet the same as April’s time, the next-best plan is only a means of flight? This time too fleeing back to Remora? No way.

Alter at that time was the timing of the original’s tutorial, not even early, so means he could take were few. Naturally now he should have prepared the next means.

Or.

Maybe only I am underestimating myself too much, but maybe he found a thing he should prioritize more than defeating the likes of me.

That said even if said then what is that something he should prioritize I have no idea at all.

”What I want to say is above. In this kind of middle only joining everyone is no good, if clumsy we might be defeated including Knight. We are carefully able to hide figures, right? We should actively use that advantage. Any objection?”

”No, none... well that is so... if it even becomes a fight Knight-senpai alone is enough.”

At Knuckle’s dry laugh Doris nodded fine and directs her gaze at the computer display.

While staring at that back figure I also got convinced certainly. They say dispersion of fighting power is a bad hand, but as defense fighting power Knight is too overwhelming. The person herself is strong of course, and she can scatter high-power flames with enemy-ally identification ability over a wide range. She can cover around the school grounds, and even if a strong enemy who cannot be finished with flames attacks, because the person herself is strong she can overrun.

What is truly scary is not being able to exert real ability with vicious means.

Then crushing those vicious means ahead as much as possible is our role.

(Well... there is no counterproposal either.)

Honestly I am worried about Saber.

From a while ago Doris has been investigating this and that, but information of Sacred Saber that normally easily hits does not come out. Surveillance-camera footage too, apparently the cameras themselves are damaged and footage does not come out.

Was there something? I think, but that does not mean now saying no, more than that let’s go search for Saber is a thing.

Since information is not lying around on the net there is no choice but to use feet and search, but if we wander we get found by Alter and the strengths Doris talked just now all vanish.

Then rather than the likes of me thinking clumsy things it is better to leave it to a guy whose head turns.

”...By the way Atel-san... ah, when in that figure I call this way. I have confidence of mixing.”

”Ou, that is fine, but what?”

In the room where conversation cut off and only keyboard and mouse sounds ring, Knuckle timidly called to me.

Honestly a bit awkward.

Because hair slightly containing moisture after finishing the shower is sexy, that kind of reason is about three tenths, the rest is the current state of exposing flaws a lot and identity found.

”That, knowing it is me, you helped variously, right.”

”Well, na... aa, un.”

Awkwardness jumps up.

Shit, what is this flow of conversation, how should I reply. What kind of conversation do transformation heroes whose identity was found have...!?

Before flustered me Knuckle blushes her cheeks, slightly looks down, and gently opens her mouth.

”...Knowing it is me, were you looking at that kind of site...? Like extractable Sacred image blog.”

”Really really sorry!”

Immediately dogeza, immediately apology. Awkwardness blew away at once, now a feeling like a criminal standing on the guillotine.

Sorry, really sorry, but I involuntarily look, because I am a boy. Absolutely cannot say but I put bookmarks on the newly replaced phone.

And see that, unknown cute girl’s panties are also super happy, but panties of a cute woman whose mind I know get even more excited, what to say?
