Tentacle Monster Reincarnation: I Will Protect the Heroines

In a desolate wilderness she remembers Alter looking up at Meldiana and twisting the mouth corner self-mockingly.

”Is this my end.”

At that time she thinks he had already given up survival.

He properly took an attack of light, among them an attack of top Sacred. Only taking one life can be called a miracle.

While astonished at Sacred’s explosive power the result of desperately searching a means to survive is this. If treating in a safe place a wound that would fully help.

But Remora is a world of darkness, a place the logic of the weak being meat for the strong dominates.

Alter at that time was already only bait, and could not resist even combatants around.

Therefore that judgment is correct. Eaten and ruined by small fry around.

”Da, fine, so... immediately, to a safe place, I will take you...!”

In fact if Meldiana Calmate were not there it would have become so.

Meldiana shoulders Alter and desperately walks.

I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, this person, only this person I do not want to lose.

While cutting down swarming beasts and combatants she advances one step, one step forward.

Even if she dies it is fine.

This person sought her, useful, acknowledged value.

At the Calmate raid he praised she did well, said the coffee she brewed is delicious, embraced many many times.

More than that she was scolded, terrible things were also done, but the only person who acknowledged value, placed beside saying needed.

She will not let him die. She does not want him to die. Do not die.

”...Wh, y?”

”Why... you ask a strange thing, Alter-sama.”

At a voice confused from the heart a bit good feeling. Precisely because the side usually done to, she ends up thinking a bit did it.

But really he says a strange thing.

Is this not a thing even a child understands.

”The one who said be useful is Alter-sama, right?”

Therefore do not worry, I will definitely help.

Saying that Meldiana showed a full smile.

Ah, Alter-sama.

My precious person.

More than anyone, more than anything.

The only person who acknowledged the value of the girl named Meldiana Calmate who was crying alone.

She was fulfilled. Already from far far before.

Therefore dying here is not bad either, right? There was another Meldiana who cleverly says that way.

Acknowledged, relied on, used, right? With only that out-of-expectation happiness, right? Then seeking more than this is greedy.

Before she noticed a large hole was open in the abdomen.

From the wilderness she was walking shouldering Alter the scene moves to a deserted townscape.

Koito sneers.

Meldiana collapses.

(Ah. I see.)

This is surely a revolving lantern.

A recollection of life seen right before death.

Meldiana dies properly. Certainly she got strong, and can lightly scatter combat-oriented Monster Villains of a degree, but compared to Magician Diabolics somewhat inferior.

That kind of woman properly took a surprise attack and lost consciousness. However she struggles only death remains as the end.

But the life until now, the days serving Alter Native, was fulfilled.

Because satisfied no regret.

(I hate it.)

I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.

Ah, she fully understands seeking more than this is greedy.

But to one who harbors power of darkness correct logic has no value.

I do not want to die, I cannot die, I will not die, I will not die...!

”A, gu, u, a, a!”

Thus.

Meldiana’s consciousness floated to reality.

From intense pain in the abdomen vision flickers chika-chika, but she decides to think a good wake-up.

And there cannot possibly be time to suffer and writhe in pain. Quickly if she does not plug the wound in the abdomen.

(...? The hole in the stomach...?)

The abdomen she touched with a palm. There she understood some cloth is wrapped guru-guru.

Not treatment by magic, and as first aid also failing.

But fortunately Meldiana had absorbed Leas’s magical power and was self-strengthening. Even in that state if a large hole remained open in the abdomen she would have died, but though a clumsy method because she plugged the hole self-healing ability slightly won, probably.

(Here is...?)

A room with a table and sofa, and a large monitor impressive.

Under the monitor some equipment is connected, and on the table a tablet is placed. If she observes well she also understood large speakers are installed on the wall.

Desperately moving a head that does not work much from pain and fatigue she nods ah.

A karaoke room. She had not entered inside, but while scouting this town she knew that kind of facility.

A private room easy to use, and precisely because of that there is also use value.

That said she had not thought of using as a place she herself sleeps this way.

”...That, fine? A voice came... ”

At that time together with a sound of the door opening a voice was made. A man’s voice.

Hurriedly directing her gaze there she understood multiple men are peering at this side’s state.

(B, ad...!)

Probably Earth’s humans. She does not feel magical power, and physical ability also does not seem high.

However many men of this degree gather it does not matter. If not dying.

She tries to adjust posture and groans at intense pain in the abdomen.

While twisting her face she searches twin swords, weapons granted by Alter. Fortunately the weapons were lined on the sofa Meldiana is sleeping on. She grips the hilt and glares at the men ki.

Multiple men gathering in a state of laying a woman in a private room. What to do is only one.

”Do not, touch...!”

Pinned by a man other than Alter Native and violated. I hate it, no good, because all of this body is for that person.

She resists like crazy, and if even so no good she bites off her tongue and dies. She had decided that resolve, but.

”A, that is so, sorry. In this kind of situation surrounded by men you are anxious, right, bad...”

”If there was a girl I wanted to leave correspondence, but we are a male household...”

”As I thought better one representative went not going as a group...?”

And yet.

What are these men, backing away while making faces truly sorry from the heart...?

”For the time being because you seem energetic I was relieved... with that treatment method I was super anxious... or rather sorry I could not take you to a hospital. Now the phone line seems congested...”

”Or rather even if I could take you to a hospital other-world people do not have insurance cards. Treatment fees would have become not half, right?”

...The last one she thinks that is not what to mind in this situation.

Of course if clumsily carried into a hospital she would have been troubled. After all this town’s power holders and Sacred are connected. If clumsily carried there what would have become.

Seeing Meldiana falling silent confused, what did they think, the men start rattling unsettled wata-wata.

”Aa etto, that, water and... I tried warming the shop’s frozen pasta. If a better place there might have been food seeming good for the body, but we only go to this back-alley karaoke...”

”Places that love wayei-type sometimes food is delicious, but songs we like are not in...”

”To invite Leas-san and them I thought better able to sing more trendy songs and was practicing, but the latter half we were always singing anime songs as usual...”

”The result of too absorbed and missing evacuation is this...”

”Or rather after a hole opened in the stomach can you eat food...? Is this not a timing needing an IV?”

”Well good you are energetic... because loitering in the clerk’s room, if something call. ...Hey, by the way is this fine? If I apologize later the police will not be called, right?”

”Well un, under this situation I want to think even using somewhat arbitrarily is okay... money and a letter, student ID I left. ...A, wait, I gradually became anxious!”

”Then we with this...”

”Aa no, wait wait, do not try to leave.” ℯℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

While talking messily she calls the men backing away with a tremendous low posture.

Even though not understanding the situation at all if left alone. That, troubled.

Or rather yelled at by the opponent she treated, why are these men this flustered. If she calmly thinks is it not a timing to yell back normally...?

”...Sorry. This bandage, you all?”

”Un, that, sorry. Not very good. We are basically indoor types, and have not done stopping blood or such.”

”For the time being if not stopping blood, after wrapping a towel or such I took from the first-aid kit that was in this shop. Good there was bandage, if only band-aids all plans would have been exhausted...”
