Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 472: If It’s About Turning into Dragons, We Can All Do It!

”Boom!”

Jorg was sent flying through the sky. He could feel all of his internal organs being displaced to some degree under Evanʼs attack.

”Blegh…”

The moment Jorg opened his mouth, a large amount of bright-red blood continuously gushed out.

”Whoosh!”

Eventually, he flew to an altitude of thirty thousand meters, where he was already approaching outer space and the air had become incredibly thin…

Jorgʼs face flushed red, sweat continuously emerging from his forehead. Then, just as Jorgʼs body continued flying outward, a massive gravitational wave suddenly pulled toward him…

The next second, Jorg fell from the sky at a speed surpassing that of sound, landing in a forest far away from the town of Diabolos!

”Boom!”

With a tremendous roar, the entire forest was reduced to nothing under the shockwave generated by Jorgʼs impact! Inside the enormous crater, there was only Jorg, covered in blood and barely alive!

”It hurts…”

Jorg lay in the crater, mumbling as countless streams of bright-red blood flowed from his mouth.

He could no longer remember how long it had been since he had suffered such severe injuries. The wounds all over his body that continued bleeding, the faint pain in his bones, his displaced internal organs, and the sweet sensation constantly rising from his throat were all telling him that he was now on the verge of death!

This made Jorg recall that day more than twenty years ago. That was the day when he had cultivated his Dragon Slayer Magic to the point where there was no further progress to be made! Believing that his dragon-slaying arts had reached perfection, he challenged an ancient dragon that had already grown old beyond recognition, its entire body covered in wounds and already on the verge of death! At that time, Jorg had been full of confidence, believing that he could easily crush that old dragon! Unfortunately, even that dying old dragon had still forced him into a bitter battle and nearly cost him his life! Although he ultimately won, he was left with this horrifying body covered in scars!

Perhaps it was only an illusion, but the scars from twenty years ago had begun hurting once again…

In a daze, Jorg seemed to hear a voice beside his ear, as if the old dragon he had once slain was mocking him, mocking Jorg Lysen for growing old and eventually declining! Yes! Everyone would grow old one day. No one could remain powerful forever!

”Oh my~ Looks like your condition isnʼt very good~”

Just as Jorg lay on the ground, his entire life flashing before his murky eyes like a revolving lantern, a brown-haired figure had somehow appeared beside him.

”You brat!”

Jorg lay in the crater and looked at the newcomer. His pupils suddenly trembled, and a surge of anger rose within his heart.

”Long time no see, Guild Master Jorg~”

”Looks like you havenʼt been doing very well these past few years~”

The figure with short brownish-red hair was none other than Evan. At this moment, Evan had both hands in his pockets, the corners of his mouth raised. His words were filled with teasing toward Jorg, and his eyes were playful.

”Bastard…”

”I was wondering who in this world would dare provoke our Diabolos!”

”So it was you bastard who destroyed my guild!”

”You have no idea what the hell youʼre doing! Iʼm going to skin you alive, eat your bones and blood, and then become even stronger…”

Jorgʼs entire body trembled. He desperately wanted to stand up from the crater and fight Evan for three hundred rounds, but the countless injuries inflicted upon him by the dragons, along with the various curses, had already left him unable to rise again. He could only lie in the crater and roar at Evan.

Like a fallen old dog, all that remained was barking, while he no longer possessed the strength to fight!

”You keep talking about eating peopleʼs bones and blood!”

”How terrifying! Youʼre really scaring me to death…”

Evan looked at the old man whose body was continuously bleeding, yet who could still ʼthrive with vitalityʼ and roar at him with tremendous vigor. He had to admit that, in terms of sheer vitality alone, Jorg Lysen was indeed extraordinarily tenacious.

But admiration was one thing. Evan certainly had no habit of allowing people to threaten him!

Therefore, with a smile on his face, Evan stepped on Jorgʼs head and asked in confusion, ”Who was it you said you were going to skin?”

”Hiss…”

Feeling the weight on his cheek, Jorg looked at Evan with both hands in his pockets and an arrogant posture. Endless rage and humiliation surged into his heart. He was the dignified Guild Master of Diabolos, the strongest Mage Guild in the northern continent of Guiltina. How could he allow himself to be humiliated like this?!

Jorg transformed his grief and humiliation into strength. The magic power within his body erupted, and his wounds immediately healed! At the same time, his already vicious eyes instantly turned blood-red…

Heat began radiating from Jorgʼs body.

”Die!”

Jorg roared, sat up from the ground, and attacked Evan!

”So scary~”

Just like several years ago when Evan had fought Jorg, the moment Jorg rose, Evan transformed into countless black streams of light, allowing Jorgʼs attacks to pass through his body.

”Four-Beast Dragonʼs Crushing Fist!”

Jorgʼs eyes were blood-red, resembling a demon. He compressed the four elemental powers within his body together and instantly punched through Evanʼs chest! The terrifying power directly reduced the mountain behind Evan to nothingness.

”Haah, haah, haah…”

After using the Four-Beast Dragonʼs Crushing Fist, Jorg appeared extremely weak. Already being at the end of his strength, releasing the Crushing Fist made him look even more exhausted, while fine beads of sweat continuously appeared on his forehead…

Clearly, a single Four-Beast Dragonʼs Crushing Fist had already pushed Jorg to his limit!

”Keep going~”

Just as Jorg stared at the shattered mountain and panted, Evan had somehow already arrived behind him.

”You bastard! You have no idea what the hell youʼre doing!”

”In this world where dragons eat humans! Only we Dragon Eaters, answering tooth for tooth and blood for blood, can eliminate the Divine Dragons entrenched in Guiltina!”

”In this world, only the Dragon Eaters Guild Diabolos under my command can defeat the Divine Dragons ruling over Guiltina! This world needs me! It needs us Dragon Eaters…”

Hearing Evanʼs voice, Jorg immediately turned around and looked toward Evan, then hysterically shouted. His eyes were completely blood-red, and his pale-white teeth were now stained with bright-red spots. That was the blood Jorg had coughed up!

At this moment, Jorg looked like a ferocious beast from hell, terrifying and grotesque!

”Guild Master Jorg, you look really scary right now~”

”Just looking at you once might be enough to give someone nightmares when they go to sleep at night~”

Evan stood before Jorg with both hands in his pockets, still looking completely calm. He seemed entirely unaffected by Jorgʼs appearance and even had the leisure to tease him about his grotesque appearance. At this moment, Evan actually looked more like a member of some dark criminal organization than Jorg did.

”You bastard, are you even listening to what Iʼm saying?!”

”I remember youʼre also a Dragon Slayer, right? Which generation of Dragon Slayer are you?”

”Forget it. It doesnʼt matter which generation you are! Join our Dragon Eaters! Weʼll make you even stronger! You must understand, Dragon Eaters are the future of Dragon Slayers!”

”Devour the flesh and blood of dragons and obtain their power! One day, we will eliminate every dragon race in this world!”

”Once we have devoured all the dragons in this world, we will eventually replace the dragons and become the greatest and strongest existence in this world…”

Jorg continued panting. Taking advantage of Evan not attacking, he continuously recovered his strength.

At the same time, after wildly venting his anger, Jorgʼs agitated heart finally began to calm down!

Jorg knew very well that, given the injuries he had suffered and the strength he could currently display, he was fundamentally incapable of defeating Evan!

Therefore, Jorg chose another path. He decided to invite Evan to join the Diabolos he had established, then devour dragon flesh and drink dragon blood together. Since he could not defeat his opponent, having him join his path was not necessarily a bad solution.

”And then?”

Evan was not persuaded by Jorg. Standing before him, he asked softly.

”What do you mean, ʼand thenʼ?”

Jorg froze. He did not understand what Evan was trying to say.

”I mean, after you eliminate all the dragons, what do you plan to do next?”

Evan stood there with both hands in his pockets and asked Jorg.

”Hahahaha…”

”Of course, weʼll rule this world!”

”This world is already like this! The weak are prey to the strong, and only the fittest survive!”

”Only the strongest existence in this world deserves to rule it!”

”If you and I join forces, with your immense power, weʼll probably be able to eliminate the Divine Dragons very soon! At that time, this world will belong to you and me! When that happens, Iʼm willing to share the world with you…”

After hearing Evanʼs question, Jorg began laughing maniacally, like a mentally ill patient who had completely lost his mind.

”Foolish! Once I eliminate you, the entire world will be mine!”

Evan looked at the crazed Jorg with disdain.

”What?!”

Jorgʼs crazed expression instantly froze after hearing Evanʼs words, and he immediately realized that something was wrong!

”Dragon Slayer Magic, to put it simply, is the transplantation of a dragonʼs power into a human body!”

”While Dragon Slayer Magic gives us physiques comparable to dragons, it also transforms our bloodline from human into a half-human, half-dragon existence!”

”In other words, every Dragon Slayer is essentially a hybrid of a dragon and a human. For a Dragon Slayer, consuming dragon blood is no different from consuming human flesh. The only outcome of consuming oneʼs own kind is madness…”

”As for eliminating the dragons, thatʼs even more impossible! From the moment you accepted dragon power, you yourselves became part of the dragon race. The erosion of the human body by dragon power is irreversible! As your power continues to increase, the hero who slays dragons will ultimately become a dragon…”

”Your path is already wrong. Dragon Slayers were not created to devour dragons! You have led Dragon Slayers down the path of lowly ghouls…”

Evan stood before Jorg with a cold expression. To be honest, he was somewhat displeased.

After all, the profession of Dragon Slayer had been created by Irene, yet someone as insane as Jorg had appeared…

The very reason Dragon Slayers came into existence was to help those dragons who intended to coexist with humans eliminate the dragons that preyed upon humans and win the war! In other words, Dragon Slayer was a profession of heroes!

Yet now, Jorg, as a Dragon Slayer, had gone in the opposite direction, hunting dragons and even hunting weaker Dragon Slayers! He devoured the dragon flesh within their bodies. How was that any different from those dragons four hundred years ago that had been exterminated for their love of eating humans?

At the same time, the reputation of Dragon Slayers across the vast northern continent of Guiltina had rapidly declined because of Dragon Eaters like Jorg. This made Evan furious!

In Evanʼs eyes, Jorgʼs existence was practically an insult to Dragon Slayer Magic.

Humans eating dragons and dragons eating humans—this was itself a wrong path!

Four hundred years ago, Irene, the Dragon Queen, had already provided the answer for how humans and dragons could live in the same world. That answer was coexistence! Having been raised by Irene, Evan naturally inherited Ireneʼs dream! Other than coexistence, every other path was wrong…

”Hahaha? Lowly ghouls?”

”So what? We did obtain power, power comparable to dragons!”

After hearing Evanʼs words, Jorg showed no remorse. Instead, he laughed even more maniacally.

”Just as you said, the dragon slayer will eventually become the dragon…”

”We Fifth Generation Dragon Slayers will ultimately transform into dragons! When that happens, let us New Era dragons have a satisfying slaughter! The final victor will be crowned king and become the Dragon King, just like Acnologia four hundred years ago!”

”As for the weaklings in the guild! They were never worthy of possessing dragon blood in the first place. Isnʼt it only natural for them to be devoured by the stronger? Becoming power for the stronger is their only path!”

”As for this coexistence you mentioned? Donʼt be stupid. The weak are prey to the strong, and only the fittest survive! That is the law of this world!”

”In fact, only someone like me can create the strongest and undefeated Mage Guild!”

”Only our Diabolos, only we Dragon Eaters, can defeat the Divine Dragons and save this world!”

Jorg laughed maniacally. He could not listen to a single word Evan said. Decades of curses, combined with the powerful invasiveness of dragon blood, had already caused severe problems with Jorgʼs mental state. The current Jorg was no different from a madman.

”Save the world? You mean using your status as a Dragon Slayer to run rampant across the continent?”

”The Magic Council has already classified you as an SS-Rank wanted criminal. Your very existence has become a threat to the continent. I havenʼt seen you make even the slightest effort for the people living on this continent~”

Evan found Jorgʼs words laughable. Jorg was not saving the world. He was merely using the excuse of saving the world to satisfy his own selfish desires.

”What do those idiots in the Magic Council know? I am the truth!”

”Power is eternal! As long as I become the Dragon King, everything will submit to me!”

Jorg roared at Evan. He clearly did not take the Magic Council seriously.

As for the massacres Jorg had committed in the past, he considered all of them necessary sacrifices on the path of dragon slaying!

With the same goal of slaying dragons, Jorg was not even worthy of carrying Acnologiaʼs shoes…

Acnologia did it for the greater good of humanity, while Jorg did it to devour dragon blood and increase his own power!

”Heh, power is eternal? You think youʼre strong?”

”You know nothing about power!”

”Although I donʼt know where you got the delusion that only you can fight the Divine Dragons…”

”However, you frog at the bottom of a well! At least open your eyes and look carefully! See what kind of power a Dragon Slayer should possess!”

Evan laughed after hearing Jorgʼs words. At this point, there was no need to say anything more to Jorg.

As dark clouds filled the sky and thunderbolts flashed brightly, Evanʼs body gradually transformed into blue-green scales…

”This is?!”

Jorg stared at the scene before him, his pupils suddenly shrinking. The immense pressure emanating from Evan even surpassed the Divine Dragons Jorg had encountered before. Every movement and glance Evan made released such tremendous pressure that Jorg felt suffocated!

”Roar!!”

Before long, Evanʼs figure disappeared completely. In his place was an enormous Azure Dragon hidden within the dark clouds, its entire body radiating terrifying power!

”Complete Dragonification!”

Jorg stared at the enormous Azure Dragon radiating limitless pressure, his pupils shrinking slightly. He could not help but recall a name—Elefseria, the Dragon Slayer of the ʼLaw Dragon,ʼ and also the only Dragon Slayer in the entire northern continent of Guiltina who had completed Complete Dragonification and defeated a Divine Dragon…

”So powerful!”

Jorg stared at Evan and could not help but mutter. In front of Dragon Slayers capable of completely transforming into dragons…

Jorgʼs power was incomparably insignificant. Facing Evanʼs thousand-meter-long body, Jorg did not even have the thought of retaliating…

In fact, Jorg had also been researching a method of Complete Dragonification over the years. Logically speaking, since an old-fashioned Dragon Slayer like Elefseria could complete Complete Dragonification, there was no reason why Fifth Generation Dragon Slayers who had devoured dragon flesh and blood should not be able to do the same!

Indeed, just as Jorg had imagined, Fifth Generation Dragon Slayers were indeed more prone to dragonification. Unfortunately, everything had two sides! The method by which Fifth Generation Mages obtained power was too easy, and therefore an enormous hidden danger had also appeared within their bodies!

Through Jorgʼs many years of experiments concerning dragonification, he had discovered a very troublesome problem. Once a Fifth Generation Dragon Slayer underwent dragonification, they would completely lose their consciousness and be devoured by the dragon blood within their bodies! Simply put, after transforming into dragons, Fifth Generation Mages lost the ability to think rationally and became beasts that knew only how to devour! They were even more dangerous to humans than dragons…

Perhaps this was the price of devouring dragon blood?!

”You value your power so much?”

Just as Jorg was lost in thought, Evanʼs voice slowly sounded beside his ear.

”Hm?”

Jorg froze, not understanding what Evan meant.

”Ultimate Separation Magic!”

Just as Jorg was confused, Evan activated his magic. Instantly, an invisible force descended upon Jorg.

”Hm?! Are you going to strip me of my power?”

Jorg felt the invisible force within his body and his pupils suddenly shrank. He seemed to have guessed what Evan intended to do to him.

”No! No! You canʼt do this to me! You have no right to treat me like this! You have no right to strip me of my power! That is the power I painstakingly obtained by hunting dragons! Do you know how much I sacrificed for this power?!”

Jorg went completely berserk, staring at Evan and roaring continuously.

Jackal had once told Evan that the greatest punishment one could inflict upon a person was not killing them, but depriving them of the thing they valued most and then making them live on aimlessly!

”Separate!”

As Evanʼs voice fell, the enormous and turbid magic power within Jorgʼs body was instantly separated from him. It then flew into the sky and disappeared!

”Ah…”

After losing his magic power, Jorgʼs eyes widened, his eyes rolled back, and he collapsed to his knees in the crater as though he had fainted, remaining motionless for a long time.

”Phew~”

As for the sky, the enormous Divine Dragon transformed from Evan gradually shrank after separating Jorgʼs power, transforming into his human-beast form and standing before Jorg.

”Give it back to me! Give my power back…”

”Ahahaha! Thatʼs right!”

”As long as I eat you! As long as I eat you here, I can surpass every dragon in this world, become the great Dragon King, and become the invincible Ultimate Lifeform!”

Jorg looked at Evan, who had transformed into his human-beast form, and suddenly began laughing maniacally!

Jorg opened his enormous mouth, countless strands of white saliva spraying from it. Like a vicious dog, he charged toward Evan!

”You want to become the Dragon King too?”

Evan frowned upon hearing Jorgʼs words.

At the same time, thunder roared across the sky, flashing brilliantly because of Evanʼs anger!

”Rumble!”

Facing Jorg as he pounced toward him, Evan took out a spiked club!

This was a weapon Evan had forged from Acnologiaʼs teeth, specifically designed to deal with dragons!

At this moment, pitch-black lightning danced across the entirely black spiked club. This was Evanʼs Conquerorʼs Haki! Facing Jorg, Evan had no intention of holding back and directly infused it into the spiked club!

”Thunder Bagua!!”

Without even looking at Jorg charging toward him, Evan swung his spiked club.

”Pfft…”

Almost the instant Evanʼs Thunder Bagua approached Jorgʼs cheek, Jorg was sent flying by Evanʼs club, endless blood spewing from his mouth!

Yet that was not the end. Having lost his magic power, Jorgʼs body was merely somewhat stronger than an ordinary humanʼs, while his strength was already no different from that of an ordinary human! He was completely incapable of dispersing the force contained in Evanʼs Thunder Bagua and was directly sent flying into the sky by a single swing of Evanʼs club!

One thousand meters, two thousand meters, three thousand meters, ten thousand meters…

It was not until Jorg flew into outer space that he finally stopped!

”Where is this? Outer space? Is that the world of Earth-Land? How beautiful…”

Jorg floated in the sky together with countless fragments of rock. Looking down at the azure-blue world of Earth-Land beneath him, he revealed a faint smile. Then Jorgʼs consciousness gradually became hazy, while his body began regularly circling around the world of Earth-Land under its powerful gravitational pull.

”Since you want to become an Ultimate Lifeform so badly, let me send you to the place where an Ultimate Lifeform should go!”

Evan activated his Observation Haki to its fullest and looked at Jorg, who was now alongside Kars in the sky, before putting away the spiked club in his hand.

Thus, the Ultimate Lifeform Jorg abandoned thought…

”Magic Council, come out and clean up the mess!”

After sending the Ultimate Lifeform Jorg into outer space, Evan took out a long-distance communication crystal and called the Magic Council of Perū…

In any case, Jorg was an SS-Rank wanted criminal, worth an SS-Rank quest medal. Although an SS-Rank quest medal was not particularly meaningful to Evan now, having one was still better than having none. Even a mosquitoʼs leg was still meat, right?!

At the same time that Evan cured Jorg of his Dragon King addiction and sent him into outer space!

In the town of Diabolos…

The strongest among the four members of the Black Dragon Knights, and also the strongest Mage in Diabolos beneath Guild Master Jorg, Kirin, was engaged in an intense battle with Laxus…

At this moment, both Kirin and Laxus looked incredibly exhausted. Their clothes had already been blasted full of holes by lightning!

”Yellow Dragonʼs Roar!”

”Lightning Dragonʼs Roar!”

Kirin and Laxus released their Roars almost simultaneously. Two streaks of lightning crossed and collided, terrifying thunder tearing the sky apart and making the earth tremble.

”Phew~”

After releasing their Roars, Kirin and Laxus simultaneously took a breath, then charged straight toward each other…

”Atmosphere…”

Facing Laxus, whose speed was even faster than his own, Kirin subconsciously manipulated the surrounding air currents, creating resistance before Laxus and preventing him from easily approaching.

”Ugh…”

Laxus seemed not to have expected Kirin to create a wall of air currents before him. He threw a punch, causing repeated booms against the wall of air before Kirin, but he could not injure Kirin in the slightest.

”Youʼre no match for me…”

Kirin looked at Laxus, who was blocked by his air currents, and raised the corners of his mouth as he arrogantly spoke.

”Heh…”

However, after hearing Kirinʼs words, Laxus showed no panic. Instead, a smile appeared on his face.

”Hm?”

Kirinʼs expression suddenly changed, and a trace of foreboding immediately rose within his heart!

However, Kirin quickly suppressed that ominous feeling. He pursed his lips slightly and looked at Laxus, who was just as battered as he was, before smiling faintly and thinking, ”Heʼs merely bluffing!”

Yet the moment Kirin relaxed slightly, crimson lightning suddenly erupted from Laxusʼs body! The lightning directly broke through Kirinʼs defenses!

”Lightning? Foolish! I am a Mage who specializes in devouring lightning…”

Kirin looked at the crimson lightning before him. Although he did not know what kind of lightning this was, it did not matter! As long as it was lightning, the Yellow Dragon could devour it!

However, when Kirin opened his mouth and attempted to absorb Laxusʼs magic power to recover his strength, he discovered that he was completely unable to devour this crimson lightning…

”What?”

Kirin was greatly shocked.

”Dragon Slayer Secret Art! Armament: Crimson Lightning: Narukami!”

Laxus looked at the horrified Kirin with a smile. His arm was suddenly covered in pitch-black Armament Haki, and he then punched Kirin directly in the face with all his strength.

”Boom!!”

Thunder roared!

The mask on Kirinʼs face was directly shattered by Laxusʼs punch, and his entire body was electrocuted black by the crimson lightning before being sent flying.

”Itʼs over!”

Laxus looked at the flying Kirin, utterly exhausted. He staggered and fell backward.

Yes, after defeating Kirin, Laxus had also reached his limit!

”Laxus…”

Just as Laxus was about to fall, a green figure quickly ran behind him and caught his weakened body…

”Freed, thanks!”

Laxus looked at the person behind him and smiled.

”Itʼs what I should do!”

Freed held Laxus in his arms, his eyes moist. Today, he had once again witnessed Laxusʼs magnificent performance, ʼeasilyʼ crushing his opponent!

Freed could only say, as expected of Laxus…

”I knew it. With Laxusʼs strength, dealing with that guy would be incredibly easy!”

Freed thought this to himself.

After all, as far as Laxus was concerned, no matter what he did, it would always increase his favorability in Freedʼs heart!

Three days later…

The members of the Mage Guild Diabolos looked as though all their vitality and spirit had been drained away. They lay before the ruins of their guild, staring blankly at the sky!

They had long since lost count of how many times they had fought the Mages of Fairy Tail over these three days. Every time they fought Fairy Tail, the members of Diabolos would inevitably end in defeat. Then the Mages of Fairy Tail would inevitably let them go, only to capture them again less than half an hour later, repeating the process over and over…

”Do the Mages of Fairy Tail never get tired?”

”I canʼt slash anymore! My slashes canʼt slash anymore…”

Kiria lay limp on the damp soil, staring blankly at the sky. She was completely exhausted and could not even swing her sword anymore.

”Theyʼre a bunch of lunatics!”

Misaki, who was Kiriaʼs senior, sighed and leaned weakly against the shade of a large tree.

Three days of nonstop fighting. Even with the powerful physique of a Dragon Slayer, one would still feel exhausted!

”Everyone, donʼt give up just like this!”

”There are only thirty or forty enemies, while we have several hundred people!”

”Several hundred against thirty or forty! The advantage is ours!”

”Once we recover our strength, weʼll fight them for another three days and three nights! Defend our honor!”

Natsu sat right in the middle of the members of Diabolos and shouted loudly.

”Yeah!!”

”Big Brother Natsu is right!”

As Natsuʼs voice fell, the members of Diabolos all began echoing him.

The three days had already allowed Natsu to become one with the members of Diabolos, earning the trust of their Mages!

How should one put it? When Natsu fought the Mages of Fairy Tail, he was truly ruthless! Various Dragon Slayer Magics and Dragon Slayer Secret Arts came one after another, without the slightest restraint simply because his opponents were his companions!

It was precisely Natsuʼs style of conduct that caused the Mages of Diabolos to develop a certain degree of recognition toward him. Quite a few of them had even acknowledged Natsu as their big brother.

”The road ahead is bleak…”

Misaki sighed helplessly. She could no longer see a future for the Mage Guild Diabolos. Perhaps, in the end, other than surrendering, there was no road left for them to take. At present, their Guild Master was nowhere to be found…

Sometimes, Misaki wondered if their Guild Master had perhaps already died!

Although Jorg was a piece of trash, even if he died, Misaki would not feel anything about it!

As for the Black Dragon Knights, Diabolosʼs strongest Mages beneath Jorg, they had now been rendered virtually nonexistent!

As for the other executives, some had surrendered, while those who refused to surrender had been beaten so badly that they could not even get out of bed…

”Diabolos is gone!”

Misaki sighed. Her eyes were filled with helplessness, but the truth was that Diabolos, the strongest Mage Guild in the northern continent of Guiltina, had completely disappeared. This disappearance was not as simple as disbandment. It had disappeared from the hearts of everyone.

Fairy Tail repeatedly let the Mages of Diabolos go, only to defeat them again and again! They had completely destroyed the pride within the hearts of the Dragon Eaters. Some of these Dragon Eaters had even begun wondering whether devouring dragon flesh to strengthen themselves was truly the correct path?!

Even Misaki had begun to doubt whether she had chosen the wrong path…

Meanwhile, inside the Fairy Tail guild…

Evan, Irene, Selene, Acnologia, and Ignia—five people… or, more accurately, five dragons—were holding a meeting.

”In a few more days, the spirit of the Dragon Eaters will probably have been worn down almost completely! By then, even if we absorb them into our ranks, we probably wonʼt face much resistance from them, nor will there be too many hidden dangers left behind!”

”From the very beginning, what we wanted to destroy was Diabolos in their hearts. Once the Diabolos in their hearts is destroyed, everything else will be easy~”

Evan sat at one corner of the long table and spoke to everyone.

”The Dragon Eaters are still relatively fine. Although they devoured dragon flesh, at least they didnʼt personally kill those dragons…”

”But Jorg is different. I donʼt know how many young dragons died at that bastardʼs hands! No matter what, I cannot forgive that bastard Jorg!”

Selene wore a bathrobe, her body radiating a trace of heat. She lightly fanned herself with a fan while frowning and speaking unhappily.

”I sent that guy into outer space. He probably wonʼt be coming back in this lifetime!”

Evan answered after hearing Selene.

”If thatʼs the case, then letʼs put this matter behind us~”

After hearing this, Selene stopped pursuing the matter of the Dragon Eaters devouring dragon flesh.

”Mm…”

Evan nodded lightly. He was not surprised in the slightest, as though he had expected this.

Dragons were different from humans. They viewed life and death very lightly!

”Then, there is only one thing left before us…”

”To defeat the Divine Dragons on the northern continent of Guiltina! And completely accomplish the Hundred Years Quest!”

Evan stated the final matter troubling everyone.

”Defeat the Divine Dragons on the northern continent?”

Ignia, the ʼFire God Dragon,ʼ pondered after hearing Evanʼs words.

”Then, before we go complete the Hundred Years Quest, letʼs first go meet the person who issued the most difficult quest in the world of Earth-Land—the Hundred Years Quest~”

Evan said as he rose from his seat.

”Good!”

As Evanʼs voice fell, Irene immediately voiced her agreement.

Aside from Irene, the others all seemed somewhat absent-minded…

”Elefseria, huh~”

Selene seemed to have a great deal of prejudice against Elefseria. Her delicate brows furrowed slightly, anger visible in her eyes.

”Going to meet that old man who defeated Dogramag~”

”Hehe, Iʼve actually wanted to meet him for a long time. I really want to see what the Dragon Slayer who once defeated a Divine Dragon—the only one ever to do so—actually looks like…”

Ignia seemed eager.

Although Ignia and Selene were both known as Divine Dragons, their relationship was not particularly friendly!

At the same time, the relationships between the Divine Dragons themselves were extremely complicated. They were basically hostile toward one another! After all, this continent had never needed so many Dragon Kings!

There were exceptions, however. Some Divine Dragons got along very well because of their similar personalities. For example, Ignia had a friend among the Divine Dragons—Dogramag, the Earth God Dragon!

Unfortunately, several years ago, Dogramag had been careless and was ultimately slain by the Dragon Slayer Elefseria, the ʼLaw Dragonʼ!

This man named Elefseria was the issuer of the most difficult quest in the world of Earth-Land, the Hundred Years Quest. He was also the Guild Master of the Mage Guild Magia Dragon, a man who had independently learned Dragon Slayer Magic through records concerning Dragon Slayer Magic left behind by Dragon Slayers such as Irene…

”…”

Compared to Selene and Ignia, who were extremely familiar with the northern continent, Acnologia, sitting to the side, had been completely ʼofflineʼ from the beginning. No one knew what exactly he was thinking.

In short, Acnologia did not seem particularly interested in either the Divine Dragons or the Guild Master of Magia Dragon, the Mage who had slain a Divine Dragon.

However, Acnologiaʼs tilted ear as he listened, along with his leg that occasionally trembled, exposed the fact that his heart was not as calm as he appeared.

”I never imagined that there would actually be so many dragons living in this world. If I had known, I wouldnʼt have spent these four hundred years always staying on the continent of Ishgar…”

”I really want to discuss this with Evan and the others! But no, I am the great Dragon King of the Black Dragon. I canʼt appear too excited.”

Acnologia silently thought to himself. He was a Dragon King born from the final Dragon King Festival of the dragon race. He had to maintain his aloof demeanor. He could not be like everyone else, entering Fairy Tail and immediately having his character completely collapse as though he had become another person. His aloof Dragon King persona absolutely could not collapse.

Little did he know that the moment Acnologia had such thoughts, his persona had already collapsed.

”Then, letʼs depart~”

At this moment, Irene spoke. She took out her staff and lightly tapped the floor of the guild. Instantly, the radiant light of a long-distance teleportation magic circle enveloped everyone present.

”August, Iʼll leave the guild to you~”

As Evan was enveloped by the waves of white light, he did not forget to call out to August.

”Rest assured!”

August smiled slightly at Evan.

Because August did not cultivate Dragon Slayer Magic, Evan had arranged for him to remain behind and guard the guild. With Augustʼs strength, he was more than capable of protecting Fairy Tail across the vast northern continent of Guiltina.

Even if a Divine Dragon came attacking, it might not necessarily be able to defeat August, who had Mavis as his backing.

”Mm!”

Evan smiled slightly after hearing Augustʼs response.

”Whoosh!”

The next second, accompanied by brilliant white light…

Evan and the others immediately disappeared from the Fairy Tail guild…

Meanwhile…

Far away on a hill, seemingly isolated from the rest of the world, before the entrance of the Mage Guild Magia Dragon!

Before the entrance of the oldest Mage Guild in the entire world, Magia Dragon.

The figures of Evan, Irene, Selene, Ignia, and Acnologia appeared before the enormous guild.

”Iʼve heard long ago that the Guild Master of Magia Dragon is an extraordinarily powerful Dragon Slayer…”

”However, even so, isnʼt this guild decorated a little too extravagantly?”

Irene held her staff as she stood before the enormous Mage Guild, looking at the huge guild that resembled a castle, as well as the enormous dragon statue lying atop the guild with its neck raised as though roaring toward the sky. She could not help but sigh.

”That guy has always been like this. Heʼs just a flamboyant show-off!”

Selene seemed quite familiar with Elefseria. She crossed her arms before her proud, ample chest and snorted.

”Looks like you suffered at that personʼs hands before, Selene?”

Irene became interested upon seeing Seleneʼs displeased expression.

”It doesnʼt really count as suffering a loss…”

”Anyway, itʼs troublesome to explain!”

Selene thought for a moment before finally giving up on explaining.

”Letʼs just go inside and take a look!”

Evan glanced at the people chatting behind him. Whether it was Selene, Irene, Ignia, or Acnologia, everyone looked relaxed and at ease, without the slightest trace of surprise.

In fact, with Evan and the othersʼ current lineup, unless they were going to fight Ankhseram, the God of Life, they truly could not muster even the slightest bit of seriousness, because the final victor would definitely belong to Fairy Tail.

”Okay…”

After hearing Evanʼs words, Irene and the others nodded.

Thus, Irene, Selene, Ignia, and Acnologia followed behind Evan and pushed open the doors of the Mage Guild Magia Dragon…

”Looks a little dilapidated~”

After Evan pushed open the doors, what entered his eyes was the guildʼs interior, which had clearly fallen into disrepair. Obviously, this enormous guild had been abandoned for a very long time.

”Hoho…”

”This is the first time in all these years that Iʼve heard someone say my guild is dilapidated!”

”Although, just as you said, this guild does indeed look a little old.”

Just as Evan and the others entered Magia Dragon one after another, a huge and ancient voice slowly sounded from atop a massive stone pillar inside the guild.

”Hm?!”

Hearing the voice, Evan and the others immediately raised their heads and looked toward where it had come from.

They saw an enormous white dragon coiled around the stone pillar, its body dozens of meters long. The dragon had a long beard and slender limbs. However, the most eye-catching feature was the gem-like, brilliantly shining eye on its forehead!

”Welcome, the ninety-eighth heroes!”

The dragon grinned after sensing everyoneʼs gazes and spoke loudly to them.

”Hehehe…”

”Were you stunned by my majestic appearance?”

”Come to think of it, every time newcomers arrive at the Mage Guild where I reside, they are always intimidated by the appearance of my dragon form!”

”But Iʼm doing this for their own good. If they are frightened just by seeing my appearance, then how can they possibly go and defeat the Divine Dragons, who are countless times more ferocious than I am?”

The pale dragon was none other than Elefseria, the Guild Master of Magia Dragon. The dragon currently coiled around the stone pillar was the dragon form Elefseria had achieved after cultivating Dragon Slayer Magic to its ultimate level.

”Elefseria, stop pretending to be mysterious! What are you pretending to be a dragon for in front of us actual dragons?”

Just as Elefseria appeared before Evan and the others in his dragon form, believing that he had successfully intimidated them, Seleneʼs dissatisfied voice echoed through the empty hall.

”Hm? Do I know you?”

Elefseriaʼs body trembled slightly when he heard this. He looked toward Selene and suddenly froze.

”Selene~”

Selene rolled her eyes upon hearing this and spoke helplessly.

”You are… Moon God Dragon Selene?”

Elefseria stared at the stunning beauty wearing a yukata, sandals on her feet, and gently waving a round fan in her hand. He was stunned for a moment before shockingly calling out Seleneʼs name.

Because the auras of Evan and the others were mixed together, and because this was also the first time Elefseria had seen Selene in her usual domestic appearance, he had failed to recognize Seleneʼs identity for a moment.

But after Elefseria recognized her identity, he immediately felt a chill atop his head, cold sweat continuously emerging from his forehead…

”So you were the one who defeated Dogramag?”

”I originally wanted to find you and discuss this matter several years ago!”

”However, because of various circumstances, it was delayed!”

Just as Elefseria was shocked that the Moon God Dragon had come looking for him, Ignia spoke.

”And you are?”

Elefseria once again showed a confused expression.

”What? Looks like you havenʼt investigated the Divine Dragons thoroughly enough! Or perhaps you became weaker after that fellow Magrag escaped from your heart! You canʼt even recognize me, the strongest guy in all of Guiltina, Fire God Dragon Ignia? Youʼre truly unworthy of the title of Law Dragon!”

Ignia became somewhat annoyed when he discovered that Elefseria had failed to recognize him. He looked at Elefseria and spoke coldly.

”You are Fire God Dragon Ignia?”

”Fire God Dragon and Moon God Dragon have come together. Could it be that the two of you have joined forces?”

”It looks like the balance of power on the northern continent of Guiltina is about to undergo a drastic change!”

”No, perhaps the entire world of Earth-Land is about to undergo a tremendous change…”

ʼLaw Dragonʼ Elefseria looked flustered. When he imagined what terrifying consequences would result if Fire God Dragon Ignia and Moon God Dragon Selene joined forces, he felt chills throughout his body! To put it bluntly, across the entire continent of Guiltina, there was no force capable of simultaneously stopping two Divine Dragons.

”Since you are Selene and you are Ignia, then who exactly are the other three?”

ʼLaw Dragonʼ Elefseria was an intelligent man. After confirming that two of the five people before him were renowned Divine Dragons, he immediately became suspicious of the identities of Evan, Irene, and Acnologia.

In Elefseriaʼs view, beings capable of standing alongside Ignia and Selene could absolutely not be ordinary people.

At the same time, Elefseria did not know whether it was merely his imagination, but he noticed that both the arrogant Moon God Dragon Selene and Fire God Dragon Ignia, who always claimed to be invincible—even claiming that Acnologia was no match for him—were both following the lead of the brown-haired young man before them. Clearly, the leader among these people was neither Selene nor Ignia, but this brown-haired young man…

This made Elefseria even more curious about the identity of this brown-haired youth.

”…”

After Elefseria finished speaking, both Ignia and Selene fell silent. They simultaneously looked toward Evan, who stood at the front.

”By the way, why donʼt you transform into human form?”

”Forget it. Then letʼs stand at the same height as you and talk.”

After sensing the gazes from behind him, Evan did not answer Elefseriaʼs question. He merely rolled his neck, after which a powerful surge of magic power erupted from his body. Immediately afterward, Evanʼs body began changing, gradually transforming from human form into some enormous creature…

”Boom!”

Evanʼs transformation was like a signal. The moment Evan transformed, Irene, Selene, Ignia, and Acnologia, who had been standing behind him, simultaneously erupted with powerful magic power. The four of them then simultaneously transformed from human forms into magnificent creatures!

”This… this is!”

Elefseria stared at the enormous creatures before him, his pupils shrinking as sweat continuously rolled down his forehead.

At the same time, his heart trembled violently…

”These guys are all dragons!!”

Elefseriaʼs eyelids twitched violently. He truly could not understand where so many dragons had suddenly appeared on this continent.
