Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 461: Curing the ‘Black Dragon King’ Acnologia of His King Addiction!

”Weʼve suppressed him!”

”The invincible ʼBlack Dragon Kingʼ Acnologia recorded in the ”Apocalypse” has actually been suppressed by the Mages of Fairy Tail!”

On the ground, Lucy stared wide-eyed at Acnologia, who had been pinned to the ground by a group of giant dragons.

For some inexplicable reason, Lucy felt that Acnologia seemed somewhat pitiful. He had actually provoked this group of dragons from Fairy Tail who did not care about martial ethics...

”I must have gotten confused. I actually had such a thought!”

After a while, Lucy immediately shook her head, shaking away the dangerous thoughts in her mind. She was a Mage of the Fairy Tail Guild, so how could she side with outsiders? Long live Fairy Tail!!

”...”

Acnologia could not understand. Counting Igneel, the ʼFire Dragon King,ʼ who had fought him fiercely just now, exhausted a great deal of his stamina and magic power, and even ultimately severed one of his arms, there were actually five Dragon King-level existences on this tiny island...

One had to know that four hundred years ago, when the dragon race ruled the continent, the oceans, and the skies, when the dragon race ruled the entire Earth-land world, even if one looked across the entire dragon race, there had not been five Dragon King-level existences! Moreover, in that era, giant dragons at Igneelʼs level had all fought on their own and would never join forces!

But what Acnologia could not understand was that now, when it had clearly already entered the era of humanity and the giant dragons had almost all been exterminated by him, why had Dragon King-level existences instead begun appearing like bamboo shoots after a spring rain?! What was most terrifying was that these monsters standing at the pinnacle of the Earth-land world had actually learned how to cooperate?!

How terrifying a thing was this?!

”Roar!!”

Thinking of this, Acnologia could not help roaring. At this moment, he was roaring at the gigantic dragon constantly flying toward him in the sky.

When Acnologiaʼs right arm and both legs were restrained by others, he subconsciously swung his left arm, attempting to knock away the enormous Azure Dragon before him...

However, Acnologia had forgotten again that his left arm had already been bitten off by the ʼFire Dragon Kingʼ Igneel!

The current Acnologia was a thoroughly disabled patient...

”...”

Faced with this, Acnologia fell silent once again. He no longer remembered how many times he had fallen silent.

”Little Blackie, surprised?”

The enormous azure-colored giant dragon in the clouds looked at Acnologia, who was constantly struggling on the ground, raised the corners of his mouth, and asked with a chuckle.

”Who are you?”

”And who are you people?”

”Shouldnʼt the giant dragons have already been exterminated by me?”

”For four hundred years, I traveled throughout the entire continent of Ishgar, yet I never discovered a single giant dragon!”

Acnologia spoke in human language. Facing giant dragons at the same level as himself, he put down his arrogance and was willing to converse with Evan, Igneel, Irene, Selene, August, and Zeref.

”Sigh...”

”Little Blackie, it has only been a few days since we last met. How did you forget me?”

Evan looked at Acnologia, who had a puzzled expression on his face, and helplessly sighed.

”Looks like I need to make you remember who I am!”

As Evan spoke, he lightly waved his hand toward a tree on the isolated island.

In an instant, the tree selected by Evan was uprooted, and then before Evan and Acnologiaʼs eyes, it transformed into a giant dragon covered entirely in green!

That dragon radiated dense Dragon Power, yet possessed no strength whatsoever. It was just like an enticing target, a bait used for fishing!

”Itʼs you!”

After sensing the Dragon Power inside the bait summoned by Evan, Acnologiaʼs expression instantly changed. He finally remembered Evanʼs identity.

”This feeling cannot be wrong...”

”Hehehe...”

”Ten years! Do you know how Iʼve spent these ten years?”

”For ten years, every time there was a festival, a group of baits radiating Dragon Power would appear around me, making me unable to have a momentʼs peace all day long!”

”Now I finally understand! So it was you brat releasing bait around me every year during the festivals!”

Acnologia sensed the power within the bait. His eyes radiated a scarlet, furious light, and flames of anger burned within his heart.

”Looks like you finally remembered who I am, Little Blackie~”

Evan looked at Acnologiaʼs crazed appearance and spoke with a chuckle.

As for Acnologiaʼs anger, Evan paid no attention to it...

All things considered, Evan had only played with Acnologia for four Kun years. Was there really any need for him to go this crazy?!

”Iʼm going to kill you!”

Acnologia roared as he opened his bloody maw. Immediately, endless energy began gathering toward Acnologiaʼs mouth!

”Itʼs a Roar!”

For a moment, the expressions of everyone pinning Acnologia to the ground changed one after another. A giant dragonʼs Roar was equivalent to a giant dragonʼs trump card, and its power was extraordinary. If it was not treated seriously, even a giant dragon of the same level would suffer considerable injuries before a Roar!

Even Acnologia, as a Black Dragon, possessed a body that was almost completely immune to magic, yet when facing the ʼFire Dragon Kingʼ Igneelʼs Roar, which was comparable to Godzillaʼs atomic breath, he had still revealed a painful expression! One could imagine just how terrifying the power of a giant dragonʼs Roar was!

”Disappear!”

Acnologia gave everyone no chance to react. He opened his bloody maw and instantly released his Roar.

In an instant, the Roar mixed with the various types of magic power in this world struck toward Evan in the sky!

”Boom!!”

In merely an instant, it blasted apart the clouds where Evan was, and even directly blasted Evanʼs powerful body into two halves!

”Hahahaha! Foolish fellow, are you dead?”

Acnologia looked at Evan, who had been blasted into two halves in the sky, and laughed maniacally.

Yes, so what if there was a group of Dragon King-level monsters surrounding him?

So what if these Dragon Kings intended to join forces against him?

There was only one Dragon King in this world, and that was the invincible ʼBlack Dragon Kingʼ Acnologia!

As for the other Dragon Kings, even if they reached the same realm as him, in the end, they were nothing more than false kings!

A mere false king could be smashed apart by one of his Roars!

”No way?!”

At the same time, seeing the scene before them, the S-Class Mage candidates of the Fairy Tail Guild also changed expressions. They seemed unable to believe that Evan had been killed by Acnologia so easily.

At the same time, doubt arose in everyoneʼs hearts. If even Evan was no match for Acnologia, then was there anyone in this world who could be Acnologiaʼs opponent?!

”How is this possible?!”

It was precisely when Acnologia was laughing wildly and the people of the Fairy Tail Guild were despairing.

In the sky, Evan, whose body had been broken apart by a single Roar from Acnologia, smiled disdainfully after hearing Acnologiaʼs words.

Evanʼs destroyed lower half immediately transformed into countless black rays of light, converging toward Evan. In nearly the blink of an eye, they completely restored Evanʼs body to its original state!

As Evanʼs body recovered, the dark clouds in the sky that had been pierced through by Acnologiaʼs mouthful of aged phlegm once again covered the sky!

As for Evan, who had been selected as Acnologiaʼs target and was intended to be directly eliminated, he was hiding within these dark clouds completely unharmed.

”How scary~”

”Just as expected of the legendary Acnologia. You almost killed me~”

Evan poked his head out, looked at Acnologia on the ground, and spoke in a deliberately mocking tone.

”...”

On the ground, Acnologia looked at Evan, who could freely transform into black rays of light. His already dark face became even gloomier.

”Youʼve already completely transformed into a dragon, and you even trained your body into elementalization! Just how afraid of death are you, you bastard?”

”If youʼre a coward! Then donʼt imitate others and cultivate Dragon Slayer Magic! You damn brat...”

Acnologia angrily questioned Evan in the sky.

”Yes, yes, yes, the great ʼBlack Dragon Kingʼ Acnologia is afraid of death~”

”But fearless Lord Acnologia, where did your arm go?”

Evan was not angry either. After all, Acnologia was his senior, a human hero who had lived for four hundred years. Evan was not petty enough to become angry with a human hero. However, Evanʼs mouth showed absolutely no mercy, and he immediately launched a barrage of attacks at Acnologia.

”I...”

Acnologia wanted to say something, but as he looked at his empty arm, he could not utter a single word.

Just as Evan said, if he had been able to use elementalization, then Igneel absolutely could not have severed this arm! In the end, after Acnologia believed that he had exterminated all the giant dragons four hundred years ago, he had become lazy. In these four hundred years, he had never cultivated, and his strength had instead declined rather than increased...

”Give up! Acnologia, join our Fairy Tail...”

”There was originally no irreconcilable conflict between us!”

”Moreover, this era still needs your strength!”

Evan flew through the sky and looked at Acnologia below, attempting to persuade him to surrender.

Acnologia was, after all, a human hero from four hundred years ago. Evan intended to give Acnologia an opportunity...

Of course, Acnologiaʼs strength was indeed sufficiently powerful. Evan believed that in order to deal with their true enemies, those gods sitting high above in the heavens, Acnologiaʼs power was also indispensable...

”Stop joking! There are only Dragon Kings who die in battle, never Dragon Kings who surrender!”

After hearing Evanʼs words, Acnologia roared. After all, he was the king of the giant dragons, and he possessed the pride of being a Dragon King.

”What Dragon King, Dragon King...”

”Youʼve almost exterminated the dragon race! Where does this world still need a king?”

Evan calmly asked as he faced Acnologia.

”Enough nonsense! You want me to join you? That is absolutely impossible. Even if you kill me here and tear my corpse into pieces, I will absolutely never join you...”

Acnologia could not be bothered to waste words with Evan. Powerful strength erupted from his body, and that terrifying power caused Igneia, Selene, Irene, August, and Zeref, who were suppressing Acnologia, to change expressions.

”So this is the power of the ʼBlack Dragon Kingʼ who slaughtered all the giant dragons four hundred years ago? Indeed, he cannot be underestimated!”

Everyone was shocked by Acnologiaʼs power in their hearts! Then Igneia, Selene, Irene, and the others added more strength, completely pinning Acnologia to the ground.

Yes, no matter how powerful Acnologia was, there was no way he could break free from the suppression of several Dragon King-level powerhouses!

”I...”

Acnologia wanted to curse at them right now. If it were one-on-one, Acnologia feared no giant dragon!

To put it bluntly, because his attribute was ʼBlack Dragon,ʼ Acnologia could devour all magic power and possessed magic immunity. Among Dragon Kings of the same level, he could be said to be an invincible existence. In a one-on-one situation, whether it was Igneel or Igneia, neither could possibly be Acnologiaʼs opponent. But right now, these giant dragons did not care about martial ethics, and no one intended to fight him one-on-one...

”Looks like thereʼs no choice!”

”Originally, I wasnʼt planning to attack you!”

”You brought this upon yourself...”

Evan looked at Acnologia and helplessly sighed. Immediately afterward, his expression suddenly changed, and a trace of killing intent flashed in his eyes.

”Everyone, thereʼs no choice! Letʼs attack together and first beat Acnologia until he can seriously listen to what we have to say!”

Evan spoke softly to Irene and the others.

It seemed that, to Evan, the phrase ʼattack togetherʼ was not something that would make him feel ashamed!

Evanʼs words were spoken so naturally, as though the world itself should be this way...

If they could attack together, they absolutely would not fight one-on-one!

”Good!”

Perhaps infected by Evanʼs words, after Evan finished speaking, Irene, Selene, Igneia, August, and Zeref all nodded, indicating that they had long since grown impatient waiting.

”Huh?!”

Acnologiaʼs expression changed as he watched Evan and the others gradually reach an agreement. An ominous premonition suddenly rose in his heart.

”Flame Dragon Godʼs Crushing Fist!”

Before Acnologia could think further, Igneia pressed down on Acnologiaʼs right arm with one hand and fiercely struck Acnologiaʼs cheek with his other hand.

”Boom!!”

Accompanied by endless scorching heat and a mysterious black power, Acnologia was directly sent flying into the sky by this punch from Igneia. However, this was not the end...

Igneiaʼs flames were slightly inferior to Igneelʼs in terms of power, and thus could not cause any damage to Acnologia. But perhaps because Igneia was younger than Igneel, Igneiaʼs strength was exceptionally great! This strength made Acnologia feel intense pain. In addition, the black mysterious power used by Igneia actually broke through Acnologiaʼs defense, entered Acnologiaʼs body, and continuously wreaked havoc...

”Pfft!”

For a moment, Acnologia felt a sweetness in his throat, and traces of blood mixed with fragments of his internal organs spewed from Acnologiaʼs mouth.

”Not good, that black airflow isnʼt magic at all! It broke through my defenses!”

Acnologia considered himself to be almost completely immune to magic, even if he was not completely immune. Even the magic of the ʼFire Dragon Kingʼ Igneel, who had been known as invincible in the world four hundred years ago, was still unable to cause any damage to him!

Yet such a him had been injured by a black force! What did this mean? It meant that the black force was not magic at all...

It also meant that these old schemers had planned to deal with him long ago. They had not only rehearsed combos for dealing with him, they had even cultivated a special non-magical power specifically designed to counter him! This was simply shameless!

Ganging up on him was one thing, but they had secretly cultivated abilities specifically targeting him as well. Where was their dignity? Where was their pride as strong individuals?

However, before Acnologia could think any further, the sky suddenly darkened!

The sun had somehow quietly departed from the sky, replaced by darkness. That golden full moon sat high in the sky just like this, emitting bright and gentle moonlight...

As for Selene, she appeared beneath that beautiful full moon like a goddess beneath the moon, continuously gathering magic power!

”Using magic against me? Youʼre courting death!”

Acnologia looked at Selene, and a trace of anger suddenly arose in his heart.

Whether it was Igneel or Igneia, when dealing with him, one had chosen close combat, fighting with his life on the line, while the other had chosen to use a miraculous non-magical power, injuring him while he was careless!

Only Selene, despite knowing that he was immune to magic and could even devour other peopleʼs magic, still intended to use magic against him. She simply did not give him any face...

”Gravity Field!”

However, Selene completely ignored Acnologia. She was merely communicating with the moonʼs terrifying power.

Just as Acnologia flew toward her...

That brilliant full moon suddenly expanded continuously between heaven and earth! In an instant, it arrived directly above Acnologiaʼs head!

The terrifying gravity of the entire moon descended upon Acnologia alone!

This gravity was not Seleneʼs magic. Selene had not used magic on Acnologia. She had merely used magic on the moon, borrowing the moonʼs gravity...

This was somewhat similar to the original work, where Irene, after discovering that she could not use Enchantment Magic directly on Acnologia himself, chose to use Enchantment Magic on the ground beneath Acnologiaʼs feet and ultimately succeeded in transferring Acnologia.

”Bastard!!”

Acnologia was almost unable to breathe under Seleneʼs gravity. His eyes were bloodshot as he stared fixedly at Selene.

At the same time, terrifying magic power gathered inside Acnologiaʼs mouth. He seemed to intend to release a single Roar and directly kill Selene!

If they were at this distance, with Acnologiaʼs Roar, it was truly possible that Selene might be seriously injured!

”Rumble!!”

However, just as Acnologia was about to use his Roar, a rumbling sound suddenly came from the sky.

”What?”

Hearing that rumbling sound, Acnologiaʼs expression immediately changed. He abruptly raised his head and looked toward the sky.

Under the pitch-black night, he saw a small asteroid approximately ten kilometers in diameter continuously approaching him! Amidst wave after wave of rumbling sounds, this roughly ten-kilometer asteroid dragged a long tail behind it! Like a crimson meteor, it was exceptionally beautiful!

For a moment, countless people across the entire continent of Ishgar stopped what they were doing, clasped their hands together, and continuously made wishes.

”Are you trying to destroy the entire continent of Ishgar?”

Acnologia looked at the asteroid in the sky and continuously roared.

No matter how insane Acnologia was, in these four hundred years, he had never used such a ridiculously insane magic! For a moment, Acnologia was somewhat dumbfounded. He was thinking about exactly who should be the monster recorded in the ”Apocalypse” as possessing a tendency to destroy the world...

If it was about destroying the world, Acnologia could only watch for entertainment. If one really wanted to talk about destroying the world, one still had to look at Fairy Tail...

For a moment, as the asteroid drew closer and closer to Acnologia, the great Black Dragon King Acnologia did not dare to be careless in the slightest! After all, this asteroid was not simply magic. This was a physical attack, and even he would suffer damage from it...

”Inhale! Exhale!!”

After a brief moment of thought, Acnologia did not hesitate in the slightest and directly released his Roar at the asteroid summoned by Irene in the sky!

”Boom!!”

Accompanied by Acnologiaʼs Roar, which had been charging up for a long time, flying into the sky, this asteroid measuring a full ten kilometers in diameter instantly transformed into countless fragments, shooting toward the surrounding sea!

”Boom!!”

For a moment, endless waves shot up from the surface of the sea!

”Phew~”

Blue smoke emerged from Acnologiaʼs mouth. With one Roar, he had smashed apart an asteroid, proving the name of the invincible ʼBlack Dragon Kingʼ at this moment! Even Selene and Igneia had to admit that although Acnologia was a Dragon Slayer Mage, he truly deserved the title of King of the Dragons.

However...

”Ah~”

”He actually smashed apart my adorable little asteroid with a single Roar. Lord Acnologia truly lives up to his reputation~” Irene sat in the void. Looking at Acnologia, who was suppressed by gravity and unable to move yet could still smash apart an asteroid, she revealed a smile while continuously praising Acnologia. However, immediately afterward, Ireneʼs tone suddenly changed, and a trace of killing intent flashed in her eyes. ”But after you smashed apart the first one, do you still have enough stamina to smash apart a second asteroid? After all, the gifts Iʼve prepared for you arenʼt limited to just one star~”

”Huh?!”

After hearing Seleneʼs words, Acnologiaʼs expression suddenly changed, and he immediately raised his head to look...

”Whoosh! Boom!!”

Amidst the howl of the wind, another asteroid came crashing toward Acnologia, but this asteroid was even larger than the previous one!

”Inhale...”

Acnologia did not waste words. He immediately began gathering magic power, preparing to release another Roar.

”Enchantment: Super Acceleration!”

However, faced with Acnologiaʼs movements, Irene seemed to have been prepared long ago! At the instant Acnologia was preparing his Roar, she immediately used Enchantment Magic on the asteroid she had summoned!

”Whoosh!!”

In an instant, the asteroid summoned by Irene crashed toward Acnologia at an inconceivable speed! At this moment, the speed of the asteroid summoned by Irene actually reached an astonishing Mach 30 or more, its speed even briefly exceeding that of the Dinosaur Extinctioner!

”Boom!!”

Before Acnologia could release his Roar, that asteroid had already landed directly on Acnologiaʼs head.

”Boom!!!”

In an instant, an explosion comparable to the destruction of the world erupted in the sky!

”So powerful!”

”This move is so powerful!”

”I feel like it might be able to destroy the continent of Ishgar in an instant!”

”Yeah! Yeah...”

”But donʼt you think this is going a little too far? What about us?”

On the ground, Lucy and the others looked up at the meteorite crashing into Acnologia and voiced their amazement one after another. At the same time, as the aftermath slowly rose, everyoneʼs expressions changed!

Although they did not know whether Acnologia would be defeated by Ireneʼs move, they knew that they would definitely be reduced to corpses without bones remaining under the aftermath of Ireneʼs magic!

”Hum!”

At the same time, a barrier jointly released by August and Zeref trapped the enormous power released by the meteorite inside the barrier.

”Hehe, I really am old!”

”A barrier of this level is already somewhat too much for me...”

ʼMagic Kingʼ August was maintaining the barrier with all his strength. His aged face was somewhat pale, and cold sweat covered his forehead.

”Hang in there, August...”

Zeref was in fairly good condition. Looking at the weakened August beside him, he spoke softly.

”Rest assured, Your Majesty, this old man isnʼt that fragile!”

August lightly nodded. Of course, he could not allow this power, which was sufficient to sweep across the world, to scatter outward!

Otherwise, even the Earth-land world, such a gigantic planet, would still be affected to a certain extent...

”Go, August~”

Just as August was assuring his father Zeref, a childish voice sounded from the deserted island beneath everyoneʼs feet.

”Huh?”

Hearing the voice, August lowered his head to look.

He saw a girl standing on the yellow island below. She had bare, fair little feet and wore a pale-yellow long dress. She had long golden hair that seemed as though it were made of gold, and a cute and beautiful appearance. She carried a mysterious aura, like a fairy from a mythological story, and was waving her fair, tender little hand toward August.

”Mavis!”

When August looked at the adorable girl on the ground, his pale face gradually became flushed, and the cold sweat on his forehead also disappeared, as though he had suddenly come back from the brink of death.

”Roar!!”

At precisely the instant August saw that adorable girl, a roar erupted from within the barrier where August was! The ʼBlack Dragon Kingʼ Acnologia, who had endured the impact of the asteroid head-on, had actually not fallen. He tore through the thick smoke and charged toward August and Zeref, who were releasing the magical barrier.

”August, be careful!”

Zerefʼs expression suddenly changed when he saw the scene before him. He looked worriedly at August beside him. As an immortal, Zeref was not particularly afraid of Acnologiaʼs attacks, but August was different. August had not received the curse of Ankhseram and was not immortal.

”If it is for Mavis...”

”If it is for my mother!”

”Even if it is the invincible ʼBlack Dragon Kingʼ Acnologia, I will kill you for her!”

August faced Acnologia charging toward him without changing expression. He swung the staff in his hand and directly struck at the great Dragon King whose head had been smashed bloody.

”Boom!!”

Accompanied by a rumbling sound, Acnologiaʼs eyes rolled upward, revealing traces of white.

”Huh?!”

Accompanied by strands of black gas and black lightning wrapped around the staff, August actually displayed astonishing combat power. With a single swing of the staff, he sent Acnologia flying!

For a moment, Acnologia was stunned, Zeref was stunned, and Igneia and Selene were also stunned...

”This August fellow actually had this kind of power hidden away?!”

For a moment, this thought simultaneously arose in everyoneʼs hearts.

”Pfft...”

After Acnologiaʼs body rolled through the air several times, he gradually regained his balance.

At this moment, Acnologiaʼs entire body was covered in wounds! It could be seen that his condition was extremely poor...

In fact, if it had only been an ordinary asteroid, Acnologia absolutely would not have ended up in such a miserable state! But that asteroid had also been imbued with Ireneʼs Haki...

At the same time, under Seleneʼs manipulation of gravity, the speed of the asteroid had increased considerably in the final moment, which was why Acnologia had suffered such severe injuries.

”Inhale, exhale...”

Acnologia flew through the sky, continuously panting.

After successively fighting Igneel, Igneia, Irene, Selene, and August, he had already exhausted a massive amount of stamina. Now, he had reached the end of his strength...

If Igneia and the others had continued fighting him with magic, it would have been fine. He could have devoured magic to recover his stamina. But these old schemers had constantly been fighting him with physical techniques. Most disgusting of all, these old schemers had also mastered a strange power that was not magic. Without a doubt, that power had been specifically developed by these people to counter him...

”I was careless!”

Acnologia knew in his heart that the reason he had ended up in such a miserable state this time, even with his life hanging by a thread, was because he had been too careless. If he had known earlier, when he fought Igneel, he should have gone all-out. When Igneel released his Roar, he should have devoured Igneelʼs magic power and used it to recover his stamina instead of deliberately enduring it to show off his powerful defensive strength.

”Roar!!”

Although Acnologia had already reached the end of his strength, he was still eager to fight. He grinned ferociously and roared at the group of powerful individuals. Acnologia was confident that relying on his remaining strength, at the very least, he could take down one giant dragon in exchange for his own life at the end, just as Igneel had severed his arm at the final moment of his life...

”Come on! Keep going! Why did you stop?”

”If I take even one step back! Then I am not a Dragon King!”

Acnologia provocatively roared at Igneia and the others while silently recovering his stamina, preparing for his next strike, which would also be his final strike! No matter who came up, they would have to endure Acnologiaʼs merciless attack...

”Donʼt rush!”

”Am I not here already?”

Of course, the final strike would be delivered personally by Evan.

At this moment, Evan had transformed into Human-Beast Form, with azure flame clouds wrapped around his body. Without a doubt, Evan had entered his awakened form!

In Human-Beast Form, Evanʼs two feet stepped on the flame clouds like this, standing in the sky. In his hand, he firmly held a kanabō, and black lightning flashed across that kanabō.

”You are not my opponent!”

Acnologia looked at Evan and spoke disdainfully. After all, he was the existence who had slaughtered all the giant dragons on the continent of Ishgar four hundred years ago. Facing the Evan who was pressing toward him step by step, he was disdainful.

”Is that so?”

Evan smiled after hearing Acnologiaʼs words.

At the same time, Evanʼs power was finally released in its entirety at this moment!

”Boom!!!”

Heaven-shaking power erupted from Evanʼs body and shot straight into the clouds!

Yes, at this moment, Evan finally brought out the power that Level 16 should possess...

At this moment, Evan had completely widened the gap between himself and Dragon Kings such as Acnologia, Igneel, and Igneia. This was a difference in realm...

”What is this?!”

Acnologia looked at Evan, who had released his full power, with a stunned expression. He could see that behind the short Evan, a giant dragon nearly one thousand meters long was coiling. That giant dragon released waves of Dragon Might, terrifying to an extreme degree!

Even the supposedly invincible Acnologia felt a burst of fear when he met the gaze of that azure dragon!

Acnologia did not understand why a monster that had never appeared even during the peak era of the giant dragons four hundred years ago would appear four hundred years later, in an era when the giant dragons had declined. Could it be that things must reverse after reaching their extreme?

”Phew...”

At precisely the moment Acnologia was staring wide-eyed at the Azure Dragon coiling behind Evan, Evan moved! Accompanied by a rumble, Evan seemed to transform into a streak of light, moving at a speed that was almost impossible to distinguish with the naked eye...

Even Igneia, Selene, and the other top powerhouses standing at the pinnacle of the Earth-land world had failed to see him clearly.

In merely the time of one breath, Evan had arrived before Acnologia.

”You...”

Acnologia looked at the person before him. Just as he was about to use his trump card, Evanʼs attack had already landed on Acnologiaʼs chin.

”Boom!!!”

Another rumble erupted. Everything centered around Evan was annihilated!

Whether it was space or time, or even the magic power flowing between the worlds, everything was dispersed at this moment...

The entire world had been struck into a vacuum belt by Evanʼs blow, and for a long time it could not be filled by other matter!

As for Acnologia, who had endured Evanʼs attack, his eyes had already rolled white as he was sent flying! At the same time, a huge tooth fell from the sky and landed beside Evan...

”Clatter...”

Precisely when that tooth landed, the kanabō in Evanʼs hand had already dispersed into countless grains of sand.

Even though the kanabō in Evanʼs hand had been made using the scales shed by dragons such as Kurnugi and Animus, it was still unable to withstand his extremely violent power. After one strike, it was ground away by his power and turned into dust.

”Dropped equipment!”

Evan picked up the tooth dropped by Acnologia and revealed a satisfied smile. He planned to forge this tooth into a weapon suitable for himself after returning. At the same time, Evan held Acnologiaʼs tooth in his hand and walked toward Little Blackie, whom he had sent flying.

At this moment, Acnologia had already exited his giant dragon form and returned to his human form. He lay on the ground, continuously twitching. Clearly, under Evanʼs attack, Acnologia had already lost consciousness.

”Little Blackie, what kind of king did you say you were just now?”

Evan in Human-Beast Form stood beside Little Blackie and coldly asked the Little Blackie sprawled on the ground.

”...”

Faced with this, Acnologia, whose consciousness had already fallen unconscious, could not utter a single word.

”Acnologia lost!”

Precisely at the moment Acnologia was defeated by Evan, all the S-Class Mage candidates of the Fairy Tail Guild were stunned.

They had never expected that the invincible Acnologia would actually lose...

”Ahahaha, this is the power of our Fairy Tail Guild!”

Natsu looked at Acnologia sprawled on the ground, put his hands on his hips, and laughed loudly.

”By the way, Natsu, Acnologiaʼs defeat has absolutely nothing to do with you, right?”

Gray and the others looked at the smug Natsu and all complained.

”Thatʼs right! Acnologia was clearly defeated by me!”

”I really have already surpassed the ʼFire Dragon Kingʼ Igneel and the ʼBlack Dragon Kingʼ Acnologia. I am the strongest dragon!”

One could only say that Igneia and Natsu were indeed brothers! Igneia imitated Natsuʼs movements, stood before Acnologiaʼs fallen body, and laughed loudly.

”You only threw one punch, right?”

”Whatʼs wrong with you brothers? Can you two be normal?”

The people inside the guild could not help complaining about the brothers Natsu and Igneia.

”Cough, cough...”

Just as everyone in the guild had completely relaxed, Acnologia, who had originally been sprawled on the ground, suddenly coughed lightly. It seemed that Acnologia was showing signs of regaining consciousness.

”Uh.”

For a moment, everyone retreated three steps, after all, they had just witnessed Acnologiaʼs powerful strength. With their small bodies, they had not the slightest chance of victory against Acnologia.

”Youʼre awake?”

When Acnologia gradually regained consciousness, what entered his field of vision was neither Evan nor Acnologiaʼs face, but Sonya after she had grown up.

The girl was gently looking at Acnologia, smiling as she looked at the defeated Black Dragon King.

”You are? Is that you? Itʼs you! You survived, thatʼs great! But Iʼm sorry, I lost...”

As Acnologia looked at Sonya, countless memories surged into his mind.

”Come on, cheer up! The big brother who learned Dragon Slayer Magic!”

Sonya knew that Acnologia had remembered her. She held Acnologiaʼs hand and spoke gently.

”...”

Feeling Sonyaʼs gentleness, Acnologiaʼs heart was filled with complicated emotions. At the same time, he suddenly wanted to hear exactly what Evan intended to discuss with him.
