Global Lords: I Have Information System

At this moment, Zhang Zihao could only quietly watch Zong Shen and the others perform.

His only means of attack was to use the refined-level longsword in his hand for hacking attacks.

On the scene, after the detonators exploded one after another, Doris finally finished her chanting.

Three fire dragon tornadoes shot up from the ground, spaced five or six meters apart, each one was over ten meters high, with a diameter of two or three meters, sweeping towards the burrow monster swarm.

Sparks filled the sky, creating an impressive spectacle!

Each fire dragon tornado could attract burrow monsters within two meters around it. The three fire dragon tornadoes swept through the burrow monster swarm aggressively, with flames swirling, heating the surrounding air to a stifling temperature.

The fire dragon tornadoes wantonly swept through, their attracting effect disrupting the monster swarm, drawing the burrow monsters into the tornado, where they were ignited by constant friction. As these monsters rose to the top of the tornado, they were burned to ash.

The three fire dragon tornadoes scraped through the burrow monster swarm like hooks, leaving three noticeable trails. As they attracted the burrow monsters, they ignited them, incinerating them to ash—like a one-stop funeral service, leaving the burrow monsters lying flat, burning brightly, buried high.

The powerful third-tier fire dragon tornado magic was astonishingly effective against these clustered monsters.

Unfortunately, the fire dragon tornado only lasted for 12 seconds, which was related to Doris’s skill level. If the skill level of the fire dragon tornado were further increased, the duration could also be extended.

In these short twelve seconds, the three fire dragon tornadoes wiped out four to five hundred burrow monsters, most of which were whiteboard-level weak zombies, along with some burrow worms. This result exceeded expectations.

After all, four to five hundred compared to the total number of tens of thousands might seem small, but it accounted for nearly one-twentieth of the entire monster swarm.

The strong killing power was also partly due to Zong Shen’s prior flamethrower attack and the seven or eight detonators; many critically injured monsters were harvested by the fire dragon tornadoes.

This wave of attacks made the burrow monsters within thirty meters of the front line sparse again.

The burrow monsters surged forward once more, refilling the gaps.

This was all they could do. Although a dense formation was easier to hit with group attack magic and flamethrowers, it was the only way to leverage their advantage in numbers.

The burrow heroes could not afford to let the burrow monsters spread out. Though this would lower casualty rates, dispersed burrow monsters were even less match for Zong Shen and the others. Staying clustered maintained their threat level.

Their top priority now was to press forward with their entire force, using their numbers to create a breakthrough, and then completely submerge Zong Shen and his group in the tide of burrow monsters.

However, this most advantageous tactic for them now faced significant resistance.

This gave the burrow heroes a headache, as they were not truly formidable heroes.

They were just a castrated reproduction version created by the lord system. While possessing some commanding ability and tactical acumen, they were far from perfect in many other aspects.

For instance, advanced cognitive functions like reasoning and reverse thinking were almost non-existent in them. Their judgments were based on instincts and information imprinted in their souls, which is why the previous burrow lord and wailing lich mistook Zong Shen’s demon deterrence for allies.

The greatest reliance of the burrow heroes was the number of burrow monsters, for their numbers were vast. Even with only basic commanding and tactical skills, once the burrow monster swarm was gathered, it could drastically increase the threat level of the burrow challenge.

Now that their ground attack faced obstacles, the burrow heroes began to convene stone gargoyles while keeping the burrow monsters advancing, preparing to launch an attack.

In fact, the best time for the stone gargoyle swarm to attack would have been after a breakthrough on the ground, but the burrow heroes had no choice now but to let the stone gargoyles lead the charge.

The swarm of over four hundred stone gargoyles was still quite intimidating. Stone gargoyles were captain-level monsters and far stronger than those zombies and burrow worms.

Upon receiving the burrow heroes’ orders, the stone gargoyles in the sky began prepping for a dive towards the ground.

Zong Shen, holding the flamethrower, immediately noticed the abnormal movements of the stone gargoyles in the sky with the corner of his eye. The swarm of stone gargoyles zeroed in on their target and began their dive.

Zong Shen then began communicating with the Demon’s Heart through his mind, a black heart phantom appeared before his chest, pulsating powerfully outside his armor.

”Bang!”

”Bang!”

The aura of a great demon began radiating outward, causing the diving stone gargoyle swarm to urgently change direction, pulling up and flying toward all directions.

If viewed from above, the stone gargoyle swarm would look like a black waterfall plunging downwards, only to be dispersed in all directions as if crashing into a rock in a deep pool.

Demon deterrence was all-encompassing, causing even the clumped burrow monster swarm in front to come to a standstill. However, beyond the deterrence’s reach, those burrow monsters continued to jostle forward.
