Global Lords: I Have Information System

”Right, Favide, you’ll stay on the frontlines today to help. Just stay at the front and accumulate Slaughter Points.”

Zong Shen decided to leave Favide on the Burrow Frontline. Favide’s Slaughter Staff needed to acquire Slaughter Points through finishing moves, and carrying him along would only conflict with Zong’s own efforts. It was better to leave him at the frontlines, as it was a stable source.

Another reason was that Favide’s involvement could increase the combat power of the frontline teams.

Even if there was a sudden change in the Burrow Challenge over these few days, or the so-called final challenge was initiated, the frontline wouldn’t fall instantly. The greatest advantage of Burrow Monsters was their quantity, and Favide’s Fire Rain Magic, combined with the magic storage skill of [Wise Magic Beret (Rare)], could unleash up to four consecutive Fire Rain Magic spells in a short time, offering a considerable advantage against a large enemy scale.

Though Zong Shen treated the Burrow Monsters as beneficial, often taking the initiative to strike, he never let his guard down. Crisis awareness was always a core concern for him, with seemingly flamboyant decisions often based on repeated confirmations of information and a solid foundation of his territory and personal strength.

Favide had no objection, promptly stepping out and waving to his comrades in the Exploration Squad. He had already summoned three Two-headed Hellhounds. Due to the gap in finishing moves, he was still more than 700 points short of accumulating another 1,000 Slaughter Points. After thinking it over, he understood Zong Shen’s intention naturally and cooperatively.

After confirming the lineup and deployment, Zong Shen mounted Pigsy, leading Wolf Cavalry Squad One and the Exploration Squad towards the outer areas of the Burrow Frontline. This time, Zong Shen planned to head towards the eastern side of the territory.

It was still not yet 3 PM, and only two hours had passed since the intensity refresh of the Burrow, but the surrounding monster density had oddly decreased significantly.

They traveled eastward for four or five kilometers, encountering only Burrow Monster swarms comprising dozens. Usually, walking out just two kilometers would have easily met monster swarms of hundreds.

Nonetheless, in their sight, continuing eastward, there was a large monster swarm ahead not far away, with a scale of at least one or two thousand. This large swarm of Burrow Monsters was slowly continuing to advance southwest.

This entire area still fell within the coverage of Zong Shen’s Level 8 Territory, and the direction that swarm of Burrow Monsters was heading seemed to be towards southeast Zong Shen Territory, forming a direct angle between the two.

”The target of that swarm of Burrow Monsters is so precise. Could it be already commanded by a Burrow Hero?”

”No wonder the surrounding Burrow Monster density has decreased so much.”

Zong Shen watched that swarm of Burrow Monsters, pondering in his mind. A swarm of thousands was by no means small, a dark mass of them. He had ample reason to believe this swarm might be commanded by one or several Burrow Heroes.

Just when Zong Shen was ready to lead the pursuit, stabbing into the rear of this swarm of monsters, a notification appeared. It was not a guide hint, but a system message.

[Legion Call for Help]

[Your legion member Zhang Zihao 1997815 has issued a call for help]

[Currently located 5.7 kilometers southwest of you]

[Would you like to respond with support? Successful response will grant route guidance and a 20% group speed boost]

[Join Response][Close Response]

Zong Shen glimpsed the notification, then looked at the distant monster swarm, silently checking the direction.

”Getting beaten is really one of our legion members!”

This guy’s location wasn’t too far from Zong Shen’s territory, but usually, they didn’t have much interaction. The number of legion members had expanded to 13 through Jiang Yi’s efforts, ranking third among regional legions. This number was originally sufficient to reach second place, but the first and second legions weren’t idle either,

Ranking top, [Desire Legion] had expanded from 14 to 18 people, while the second-ranked [Asimora] Legion increased from 12 to 15 people.

Zong Shen’s [Guides Corps] expanded from 3 people to 13 people. In terms of growth speed, it’s still quite fierce.

Now that the legion member sent out a call for help signal, and Zong Shen happened to need to eliminate monsters, he naturally wouldn’t ignore it. If he couldn’t protect a close follower, how could he be a big brother?

He directly chose to join the response, a route guide appeared before him, while obtaining a 20% team speed boost.

”Let’s go, brothers, let’s support the other Lords!”

Zong Shen waved his hand, taking out a Burden-Bearer Mecha.

The goblin merchants had just been here in the morning, and had suffered a major setback from Wenresa. They wouldn’t likely repeat wandering here.

Still, to be safe, Zong Shen inquired with the Guide Module.

”Where are those enemy merchants now?”

(That group of goblins is traveling over the swamp 57 kilometers south of your territory)

Seeing this reassured Zong Shen, as the location was not far from Dinan Village but considerably far from his territory.

Zong Shen waved a hand, instructing Katis, the Dragonized Spear and Shield Warrior who had driven the Burden-Bearer Mecha before, to handle the driving. All Exploration Squad members climbed into the cargo hold of the Burden-Bearer Mecha.

He and Wolf Cavalry Squad One led the way ahead, the group marched grandly towards the territory of the caller for help.

...

Zhang Zihao was an ordinary little lord, whether in appearance or development speed, he was quite ordinary.

After so many days, he had only seven soldiers and four farmers, with no special buildings in his territory, only ordinary buildings. The most valuable were the three Tier One Elemental Arrow Towers acquired through a points exchange.

In terms of development speed, he was ranked mediocre among Lords, struggling but barely able to handle the Burrow Challenge.

To the north of his territory was a small forest, though he had already chopped down half of it from south to north.

Behind his territory was a small stream, flowing southeast from the north through his territory.

He fortified his territory with barriers and manually dug trenches for defensive blocking.

At that moment, he was leading all his warriors to resist the Burrow Monsters with all his might.

However, in his territory, large swarms of Burrow Monsters were gradually closing in from three directions. Every swarm numbered thousands, with a total exceeding ten thousand, and their overwhelming quantity was despairing.

With a mindset of trying anything, he attempted to send out a legion call for help, as the female lord who invited him to join once said the Legion Commander was a nearby Great Lord with a rapid development progress.

Moreover, the current [Territory Level Ranking] showed the number one rank holder was a big shot.

The distance between legion members wasn’t very far, but due to various terrain bumps and obstacles like small forests and sinks blocking their view, encounters between Lords heavily relied on chance.

For Zhang Zihao, a little lord, the exploration range wasn’t wide. Forget exploring relics, the most he did was hunt and occasionally fish in the stream.

He was desperately clinging to luck akin to grasping a lifeline while drowning.

Swarms numbering over ten thousand didn’t make him believe any Lord could handle them, even if they held the top rank on the Territory Level Ranking.

The main challenge was that support requires leaving one’s territory to embark on an expedition, a situation where he couldn’t imagine someone defeating upwards of ten thousand monster swarms!

His perception led him to despair, yet his hopes stemming from luck gave him hope.

When he saw that Zong Shen accepted the help request and the system sent a notification that the other party had departed, he gained some strength in his heart.

”No matter what, hold on...”

”If we die, at least witness the arrival of reinforcements!”

Zhang Zihao gritted his teeth, raising his only refined-level equipment, a Longsword, and fiercely slicing at the zombies in front, stinking pus splattering everywhere!

”Everyone hold on a bit longer!”

”Reinforcement... Our reinforcement will arrive soon!”
