Fated to My Billionaire Husband

”I don’t understand what you’re saying.” She pretended to be clueless.

Xiao Lang narrowed his eyes and leaned closer to her: ”Really don’t understand? Then tell me, how did you know she knows my home’s password?”

Li Mingxi pointed to the surveillance camera screen, ”I just saw her ringing your doorbell and then starting to enter a password at your door, but she didn’t finish, so I guessed she must know your home’s password.”

Xiao Lang raised his hand, propping it on her side, pinning her between him and the door.

With a devilish smile, he said, ”If that’s the case, you should have first asked me if she knows my door password, rather than assuming she does, right?”

Li Mingxi silently cursed herself for being careless and giving him leverage.

”I thought she knew, just thought so, believe it or not.”

She wanted to push him away but failed.

”Move, I want to go eat something.”

Xiao Lang refused to let her go, ”Tell me first, did you show up that day?”

”What day?” Li Mingxi continued to play dumb.

Xiao Lang lowered his head, his lips almost touching hers: ”The day I got drunk. That day my stomach was acting up, you gave me medicine, and kissed me, didn’t you?”

Li Mingxi’s eyes flickered with panic.

Although she quickly masked her emotions, Xiao Lang still noticed.

”Need me to help you recall that kiss from that day?”

Xiao Lang, with a husky voice, finished speaking and then captured her lips.

His movements were gentle, mirroring her actions that day, just a soft peck.

Releasing her lightly, Xiao Lang’s eyes were deep and burning.

”Remember now?”

Li Mingxi’s cheeks reddened: ”I never even went to see you, remember what?!”

Xiao Lang suddenly said, ”Actually, to know whether you were there or not, I just need to check the door records from that day. I still remember how many times I opened the door. I can also ask Wen Ning how many times she opened it. So if there’s an extra entry, it must’ve been yours.”

Damn it, does he have to spell it out, force her to admit it?

Li Mingxi, flustered and annoyed, pushed him away: ”Then go check it!”

She walked off immediately, Xiao Lang watched her embarrassed and annoyed back, chuckling lowly.

Following her to the kitchen, he smirked: ”Alright, if you say you weren’t there, then you weren’t.”

Li Mingxi glanced at him, noticing his beaming smile.

Xiao Lang added, ”Whether you were there or not, I’ll always believe you were.”

Li Mingxi glared at him fiercely and opened the fridge door.

She had forgotten, there was nothing in the fridge except three pieces of chocolate.

Li Mingxi slammed the door shut, but Xiao Lang’s keen eyes had already noticed the chocolate inside.

He embraced Li Mingxi from behind: ”Why aren’t you eating the chocolate I bought for you?”

”Don’t like it!”

This woman’s mouth was certainly stubborn.

If she didn’t like it, she could throw it away or give it to someone. She obviously couldn’t bear to eat it.

Thinking of how she worried about him that day, secretly visited him, even gave him a kiss, and now her reluctance to eat the chocolate he gave her.

Thinking of these things, Xiao Lang’s heart was filled with sweetness, feeling like he could float away.

”Mingxi, how can I love you so much?”

He tightened his arms, holding her even closer.

Li Mingxi struggled, blushing: ”Are you trying to strangle me?”

Xiao Lang suddenly spun her around, pressed her against the fridge, and kissed her hard!
