Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 2146: Chapter 2146: Negative Result Written Above

She couldn’t give up on them, nor abandon her family, just because of a fertilized egg.

Even though it was hard to let go, she had to be ruthless.

Besides, it wasn’t even certain whether she was pregnant. Maybe she wasn’t.

After persuading Jian Yufei, Ruan Tianling took her to the hospital.

All the way there, their minds were filled with anxiety.

If Jian Yufei wasn’t sick, they’d be delighted to have another child.

But now, their biggest fear was that Jian Yufei might be pregnant.

If she was, they would have no choice but to stop it...

Jian Yufei remained silent, while Ruan Tianling occasionally comforted her, but her mood didn’t improve.

...

They arrived at the hospital.

Ruan Tianling went to register.

Getting medical attention in an English hospital was troublesome, with so many procedures.

And you couldn’t jump the queue; unless you were dying, you had to wait for your turn.

If they were in A City, Ruan Tianling could find a way to bypass everything and head straight to the examination, skipping all unnecessary procedures.

But here in London, they were just normal people, hence had to follow the procedure.

After registration, they had to see a gynecologist, but there were many women queuing up for a check-up today.

There were over a dozen women in front of Jian Yufei, and there were no seats left in the waiting area.

Ruan Tianling helped her stand to the side and said to her, ”Wait for a while.”

Then he walked towards a healthy-looking woman who was flirting on her phone with a man.

Ruan Tianling handed her a few bills and said something to her.

The woman pocketed the money, smiled, and left.

Ruan Tianling waved at Jian Yufei—

Jian Yufei suddenly felt moved to tears.

She was fine standing for a while, but he couldn’t bear to see her uncomfortable.

She went over and sat down, feeling much better inside.

Ruan Tianling squatted in front of her, holding her hand, comforting her, ”Don’t be nervous. Even if it’s true, don’t stress too much, okay?”

Jian Yufei nodded, ”I’m fine now, don’t worry about me. I understand the importance of making this choice.”

Seeing that she genuinely understood, Ruan Tianling felt relieved.

...

They waited for about an hour. Just as Ruan Tianling was about to lose his temper, it was finally Jian Yufei’s turn for the examination.

She explained her symptoms and wanted a pregnancy test.

The gynecologist immediately gave her a form for a urine test.

Ruan Tianling accompanied her throughout as Jian Yufei collected the urine sample and sent it for lab analysis.

The lab result took another hour to come out.

Holding the lab report, Jian Yufei couldn’t make sense of it.

Ruan Tianling could, and he asked her, ”It says ’negative’ on it, what does that mean?”

Jian Yufei instantly showed a relieved smile, ”It means I’m not pregnant.”

”Really not pregnant?” Ruan Tianling was still uncertain.

Jian Yufei nodded, ”Yes, negative means not pregnant, positive means pregnant.”

She had been pregnant more than once, so she was quite clear about it.

”Definitely not pregnant?” Ruan Tianling asked again.

Jian Yufei laughed, ”Absolutely sure! If you still don’t believe it, when Uncle Ben comes back tomorrow, let him check again.”

Ruan Tianling suddenly hugged her tightly, ”I was almost scared to death, it turned out to be a false alarm.”
