Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 2125: Chapter 2125: A Passionate, Fervent Woman

”What do you want with Father Matthew?” Hua Zhongsheng’s voice suddenly sounded from outside.

Hua Zhongsheng and Father Matthew walked in together.

Jian Yufei stood up and walked over to Father Matthew: ”Father Matthew, do you remember the year 19XX, when a couple came here and left a message?”

Father Matthew could also speak Chinese, and he was very puzzled when he heard: ”Why are you asking about this? It’s been twenty or thirty years, it’s been so long, I’m afraid I don’t remember clearly.”

”Look at this, this was left by my parents!”

They walked over to the message book, and Jian Yufei pointed to that page: ”This is my mother’s handwriting. And this signature, the letter is my father’s name, the moon is my mother’s name. They were living in London back then, so this must have been left by them.”

Jian Yufei didn’t dare to reveal her parents’ real names.

Many people probably knew Nangong Ruyue’s name.

If word got out, got to Nangong Xu’s ears, this message book might get destroyed.

”Let me think.” Father Matthew stared at their message, carefully recalling.

Ruan Tianling suddenly noticed something off in Hua Zhongsheng’s gaze.

He was staring dazedly at Xiao Zexin and Nangong Ruyue’s message, looking a bit lost.

”Mr. Hua, are you okay?” Ruan Tianling asked.

Hua Zhongsheng snapped back, smiling lightly: ”I’m fine. Is this really left by Yufei’s parents?”

”Yes,” Ruan Tianling nodded confidently.

Hua Zhongsheng said no more.

He didn’t know why, but seeing the message just now stirred something in his heart, a sense of familiarity.

As if he had seen this message before.

But he often had this kind of illusion.

Sometimes, when he saw certain things, he’d get a déjà vu feeling.

At first, he used to mind it, but over time, as it happened more, he became at ease.

So, he didn’t pay much mind to this illusion either.

But those few lines of poetry were deeply etched in his heart.

[Until the mountains crumble, the rivers dry up, and the thunder rumbles in winter, until summer snows, until heaven and earth unite, only then would I dare to stop loving you!]

What kind of passionate and headstrong woman would dare to use this poem to declare love?

Is that woman really Jian Yufei’s mother?

Hua Zhongsheng suddenly found himself a bit intrigued by Jian Yufei’s mother.

A woman like that, he should meet her once.

”Father Matthew, do you remember now?” Jian Yufei asked nervously and expectantly.

Father Matthew, unsure, said: ”I do remember that year, there was a couple who came here. They were both oriental in appearance, very young.

That’s right, I remember now! They came in the evening, it was raining heavily at the time, they knocked on the door asking to pray.

I let them in, and after they finished praying, I took out the donation box, hoping they could donate some money, as I was raising money for a disabled orphanage.

At the time they were very generous, gave all the money they had on them, roughly a few thousand British Pounds.

To thank them, I brought them to the library and let them leave a message there.

This happened over twenty years ago, nearly thirty, if you hadn’t brought it up I would have almost forgotten.

Child, are they really your parents?”

Jian Yufei nodded affirmatively: ”Yes, they are my parents!”

”Where are they now? Are they still alive?”

Jian Yufei shook her head: ”My mother is still well, my father had an accident, and he still hasn’t been found.”
