Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Capítulo 2105: Chapter 2105: He Cares So Much About You

“Yeah, even my five-year-old son is more mature than him. And he didn’t eat breakfast today either, he really means it. But I have no idea what I did wrong, and he won’t tell me. I’ve racked my brain and still can’t figure it out.”

Jian Yufei was very troubled.

When Ruan Tianling didn’t eat, she became the target of everyone’s blame.

Everyone in the family knew only she had the ability to upset Ruan Tianling.

He skipped two meals in a row, and the family had secretly and openly inquired her countless times, asking what happened between the two of them.

She couldn’t explain, just suffered in silence, hiding in the bedroom, not daring to come out.

If Ruan Tianling continued not to eat, she was sure all the elders and kids in the family would come to talk to her.

Li Mingxi laughed enough and said, “How can you be so dumb? The answer is actually very simple.”

“Simple?! Cousin, do you know what I did wrong?” Jian Yufei asked in shock.

She didn’t know; how could she know?

Li Mingxi said leisurely, “Ruan Tianling wants you to admit your mistake, why would he punish himself instead of punishing you?”

“He said he couldn’t bear to.”

“Look, even now, he still can’t bear to do anything to you, so you should be very clear about what the answer is.”

Jian Yufei was still confused: “I really don’t understand. What is it? Cousin, tell me. If you get it right, I’ll treat you to dinner.”

“Dummy! Can’t you think of the answer from a different perspective? He cares so much about you that if you think from your own benefit, wouldn’t the answer be obvious?”

Jian Yufei suddenly understood and froze.

…

When Ruan Tianling came back, the living room was empty.

Jian Yufei peeked out from the dining room: “You’re back, come over and eat, I’ve made a few dishes you love.”

“Not eating,” Ruan Tianling refused.

Even if he starved to death, he would not eat unless she realized her mistake.

Jian Yufei smiled and came over, hooking her arm around his: “I’ve figured out what I did wrong. Come sit down and listen to me. If I’m wrong, I won’t pressure you to eat, but if I’m right, you have to finish the meal.”

Ruan Tianling glanced at her and followed her to the dining room.

He sat down at the table, looking at the three dishes and a soup, unmoved.

“So, tell me, what did you do wrong?” he stared at Jian Yufei and asked.

Jian Yufei sat beside him, first serving him a bowl of rice.

“I made two mistakes, first, I shouldn’t have kept things from you, we’re husband and wife, we should share everything, right?”

“You’ve said that before, what’s the second point?” Ruan Tianling asked expectantly.

Jian Yufei smiled: “The second is that I shouldn’t joke about my health. I should have told you sooner that a bone marrow transplant wouldn’t help my condition, so it wouldn’t delay treatment, right?”

Ruan Tianling stared at her silently, and Jian Yufei was very uneasy. If she said it wrong again, he wouldn’t eat.

“Isn’t that right?”

“How did you think of that?” Ruan Tianling countered.

It seemed she got it right, and Jian Yufei breathed a sigh of relief.

“You care so much about me, surely everything is for my sake. The answer you want is naturally about me, right?”

Ruan Tianling curved his lips into a slight smile, leaning over to kiss the corner of her mouth.

“You finally understand. Knowing how much I care about you, you should take better care of yourself. Not taking care of yourself is what angers me, got it?”

“Got it. Let’s eat, you must be starving, right?” Jian Yufei smiled and served him some dishes.
