Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 724: Chapter 737: Why Don’t You Want It?

Mu Wanxin ignored her brother’s disdain and asked, ”Brother, Wenxuan just asked the doctor. Ran can be discharged today. As long as she rests and recovers, she’ll be fine. I want to ask you, do you want to return to Imperial City for a while? After all, home has servants, grandma, and mom who will help take care of Ran. Of course, I’ll also chat with her.”

”I can take care of her myself,” Mu Xingfeng spooned a bowl of seafood porridge and fed it to An Ran.

Seeing the girl staring eagerly at the meat buns on the table, Mu Xingfeng took one and put it into his own mouth, chewing with great enjoyment, ”Your digestive system isn’t appropriate for this kind of food right now. If you’re really craving it, you can come and taste it from your husband.”

”Burp~” Liu Hu timely let out a full burp and put down the bowl and chopsticks, ”I’ll go handle the discharge procedures.”

Lin Junyang also wanted to leave, but he hadn’t said what needed to be said.

”Second Brother, yesterday the Mayor of Nan’an called me.”

”Why did he call? To plead?” Mu Wanxin asked from the side.

”You could say it was to plead, or to convey Guo Wenshan’s sincerity,” Lin Junyang said, ”Guo Wenshan indeed asked Mayor Xu to plead on his behalf. But he didn’t plead for his wife, he only wanted to ask Second Brother to consider the 5,800 employees of Wenshan Group. For this, he is willing to transfer his shares of Wenshan Group to Second Brother or Second Sister-in-law. Yesterday, when Second Brother went to the police station, he should have received an invitation from Mayor Xu, and Guo Wenshan was there too. He held the equity transfer agreement notarized by the legal department.”

”Guo Wenshan is indeed a smart man,” Mu Wanxin couldn’t help but compliment, knowing her brother well, if someone hurt his people, he would never let them off easily.

In the midst of the meat bun aroma and eating seafood porridge, An Ran listened to their conversation, completely bewildered.

Wenshan Group, isn’t that Guo Xinyi’s family business? Why would they transfer shares to them?

It even involved Nan’an City’s mayor.

Mu Xingfeng saw her blinking with big confused eyes, fed her the last spoonful of porridge, rewarded her with a kiss flavored with meat bun, and began to explain.

”So, I was kidnapped by kidnappers hired by Guo Xinyi’s mother?”

”Yes, Xu Hailian has now been arrested by the police. Guo Wenshan wants to use his 70% shares to trade for the safety of Wenshan Group and their father and daughter. Wife, do you want it?”

Mu Xingfeng didn’t meet Mayor Xu immediately, already predicting he was pleading for Guo Wenshan. At that time, there was still uncertainty whether An Ran would wake up, he couldn’t make that decision under those circumstances.

Whether to forgive was a decision he wanted to leave to his wife.

Now that An Ran woke up safely, it was time to deal with these matters.

An Ran still felt puzzled, Wenshan Group, the second largest group in Nan’an. If it was 70% of Wenshan Group’s shares, it meant Wenshan Group had completely changed ownership. Why would she need such a big company? Besides, 5,800 employees were mentioned.

”Take it, why not?” Mu Wanxin saw An Ran’s puzzled face and directly answered, ”Ran suffered such a big grievance, let Wenshan Group pay for it.”

Mu Wanxin stood up and walked to An Ran’s side, ”Ran, don’t worry. After Wenshan Group becomes yours, if you don’t know how to manage it, I’ll handle it for you. Then you can just act as the chairman. If this guy bullies you one day, you’ll have such a big company under you, you can easily leave him and go find ten or eight pretty boys.”
