Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 701: Chapter 714: Encountered an Attack

They carried An Ran into Brother Dong’s room, threw her inside, and kindly closed the door behind them.

Brother Dong was sitting on a large sofa, holding a glass of red wine and swirling it slowly, his eyes examining the girl in front of him.

An Ran’s white sweatshirt was already dirty beyond recognition, her long ponytail half undone, and her black hair falling over her forehead.

Her hands were tied behind her back, her cheeks scraped and slightly bleeding from fiercely struggling on the deck earlier.

Despite her disheveled state, there was a unique aura in her eyes.

Brother Dong drank the wine in one gulp, placed the glass on the table, and stood up, hands casually in his pockets, walking step by step toward An Ran.

An Ran instinctively stepped back, the ferocity in her eyes resurfacing, ”I’m warning you, don’t come any closer.”

She had already made up her mind to perish with the man; even if she couldn’t succeed, she would not yield to him.

In life, she belonged to Mu Xingfeng, and in death, she would be Mu Xingfeng’s ghost.

What she owed to Mu Xingfeng, she feared she could never repay in this life.

Brother Dong ignored her warning, elegantly stepping closer.

When he was two steps away, An Ran suddenly delivered a sidekick.

Brother Dong dodged with ease and, in the next second, grabbed her face.

An Ran felt like her chin was about to be crushed.

He was too strong. Not only did her kick miss, but he also grabbed her by the face, such a sensitive area. His swift movements reminded her only of Mu Xingfeng.

”Still want to play?” The man squeezed her jaw, forcing her to look at him, ”How about a more interesting game?”

With that, he flicked his wrist and threw An Ran toward the sofa.

With a thud, An Ran crashed heavily onto the sofa, her vision spinning.

She shook her head, trying to clear the dizziness. In the next moment, she saw the man pouncing toward her.

Without thinking much, An Ran rolled off the sofa, landing on the pitch-black carpet.

Brother Dong didn’t expect her to still have the strength to resist. A bloodthirsty smile curled his lips as he propped himself up with one hand, ”Maybe you think this space is too small and want to taste the floor?”

”If you dare touch me, I will haunt you even as a ghost,” An Ran threatened fiercely.

”How adorably naive. Too many ghosts haunt me already, one more won’t matter,” Brother Dong said, moving forward again.

”Thump, thump, thump...” Urgent footsteps sounded from the deck, followed by gunshots.

There was a knock on the door immediately after, ”Brother Dong, something’s wrong. We’re under attack from a warship.”

Brother Dong got up, ignoring An Ran, and walked swiftly to open the door.

Outside the door, Brother Bin was clutching his wounded arm, ”Brother Dong, we need to go. They used submarines. Our men couldn’t react in time. Now everyone is at the bow. You need to leave now.”

On the warship, a man raised his assault rifle, his face cold, as he shot a thug wielding a submachine gun. He then made two quick hand signals to the men behind him, ”Team One, frontal assault. Team Two, rescue the hostages.”

Lin Junyang received the order, signaled to his team, and while firing, leaped into the enemy territory.
